I let the staff know, and while it didn't completely ruin the experience, it's definitely something worth noting. The service was excellent. When our server Malaka heard that we were coming in from Abbotsford she said that she would give us the "best seat in the restaurant". When we opted to sit on the patio she gave us a complimentary tiramisu as a thank you. It was such a kind gesture. It was a nice relaxing evening and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This one had the white rice and golden crust on top, along with a sprinkling of dried barberries, something green (pistachio or pumpkin seeds?), and grains of dark pink rice scattered around the edge of the plate. It was so colourful and quite the sight to behold. Service could have been a bit better. Our server wasn't rude or anything like that. Just that I felt like I had to constantly stick my hand up and wave it in the air to get attention. I understand patios can be tricky with birds around, but it did feel like the table area should have been checked and cleaned before seating guests.
