The fries were rather limp and could use some more attention by the kitchen to make them stand out more. I like a mayo based coleslaw, so I didn't really love the slaw, although it was fresh and tart. The soup was very tasty and the grilled cheese was done just right! Overall, we would recommend this restaurant and we can tell that the local crowd likes this place and has kept it in business for a long time. Now if they only had that lake view restaurant!

Love this place! Great food and atmosphere. Try the nova fries! You won't be disappointed! We've had most of the items on the menu after a few visits. I suggest the brie crosstini, deviled eggs, fried mozzarella, queso, any Flatbread, french onion soup, macaroni and cheese, tacos, and brie chicken sandwich are a few of our favorites. Check it out. What a great little place to grab dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic. I am very diligent about taking photos of my food but I dove right into the skillet cookie desert before I even thought about a picture. Everything was great. Bar Nova is a small local restaurant. The food is quite good especially the flatbreads and burgers. If you like French Onion Soup you will be delighted by Bar Nova's. Alcohol is available but seating is very limited. The acoustics is very bad so if you're looking for quiet conversation go somewhere else but if you're looking for very good food this place should be on your list of must dos. read more

I can't remember exactly how many beers there were, but the majority of them were IPA's, which I don't really drink. They had 1 pilsner and 1 lager of their own. They also had a few guest taps which I appreciated, including a cider. The food menu is all made by Geracis, so a classic Italian menu. It's large with everything for pizza and pastas to great mains. I got the whipped feta app and a meatball. The meatball was delicious, even better the next day and the feta was flavorful with buttery toast points.
