Damien, set us up to succeed with welcoming words and encouraging advice. Wrap your head around Shrimp Paella with the perfect "Socarrat" or Smoked Oxtail, delicate in flavor and texture. I cannot explain the homemade Cavier, for a chemistry degree is required, but delicious comes to mind. The devotion to cooking well is without comparison for me. Moma deserves many accolades, but I hope he is happy without Michelin recognizing his food....for I fear I may never get in again.

I went in on a Saturday lunchtime and found the service very efficient without feeling rushed. It was surprisingly quiet, so we forgot about the world around and were able to concentrate on the delicious food. The dishes are in the range of about £3.50 - £5.50 each and they're usually split into 2-3 bits, so can be shared if necessary. I recommend getting bread as well - it's great for soaking up sauces and is nice, soft ciabatta style with tomato sauce to dip it in. Particularly recommended: - deep-fried chicken soaked in garlic - not at all greasy and very tasty - potato with layers of goats cheese, ham and tomato - prawns with scrambled egg and asparagus (much, much taster than it sounds!) The sangria comes with a good amount of fruit in it and at £3 a glass is cheap and plenty enough to last a meal (if you can resist another one, anyway!). All in all a really nice place if you're into tapas and a great introduction if you've never tried it.

I like this place for dates or for a meal with a good mate. Always busy, so best to book it unless you've got time to have a drink at the bar first (which is no bad thing here). Go for a great, relaxed meal on one of Oxford's loveliest streets.

We ended up in the garden at the back because, despite October, it was still sunny and a bit of a sun trap. We had two dogs with us and they were more than happy to accommodate them; I think even if we had wanted to sit inside. We both ordered the same; smoked salmon bagel and a glass of prosecco each. Considering that we were one of two occupied tables in the entire place it took quite a long time for it to arrive; the drinks came out first and whilst I wasn't expecting the best glass of bubbly, I think it would have benefitted from being a lot colder. Eventually the food came out and I just get the feeling that actually the bagel had been sat for a while, it wasn't a crisp toasted bagel as I had expected and was a bit soggy, which was a bit of shame. But - the wait staff were super friendly, it's in a convenient location and it wasn't too expensive; but definitely caters more towards the tourist crowd. Maybe it was just a bit of an off day - I'd like to try it again to see :)
