Came in with a reservation for 3. Arrived to find the patio was completely booked for a private event. They sat the 3 of us around a tiny table which is fine for just drinks but this is a full service place. The seating is intimate so be prepared to rub elbows with strangers. We ordered some house cocktails: a Paloma, their signature martini, and a vodka martini. Drinks were fine but overpriced. We got fries and the server recommended the cauliflower. The fries were well seasoned but not fresh. Green goddess dip was yummy. The cauliflower was really delicious and I'd recommend that if you go. I probably won't go back unless it's for 1 drink with an out of towner.

Amazing staff!!! Can't say enough good things about our experience here. It has just stopped raining and we wanted to sit outside. The staff quickly cleaned off a table outside for us. The waitor was great and super hands-on. He really wanted to make sure we would enjoy our drinks and brought us out the unique local 'aperols' they buy to try. I was also impressed with their selection of mocktails/ non alcoholic options!

Great ambiance and fantastic service, but not everything is a hit for the price. I love their happy hour bubbles special ($5, $10, & $15 bubble options), the $5 is delicious. However, I've had those happy hour oysters twice and they tasted off both times. Not bad, but the flavors were wrong. The first time I had the fries I loved them but then the second time they were not crispy at all. They had good seasoning but I wouldn't get them again now. The vegetable platter is delicious but pretty pricey. Although it it a good amount. Overall, it's a nice place and I love their $5 special, but a bit over rated.

Athletic brew as an option for the DD (designated driver).

We wandered over here for a quieter nightcap after dinner at a raucous venue down the street. Service was great here and we were all pleased with our beverage choices. I opted to have a no alcohol option since I had a bit of a drive and a next day early wake-up. I appreciated the choices and one of the lesser known options being offered. Beautiful space and terrific views day or night. Well maintained and fairly comfortable. Seating in the bar area with smaller tables did make us feel a bit "sunken" below the table top height when seated and tipped backward at a bit of an uncomfortable angle.

This place is attached to the hotel we were staying in. I love a rooftop bar and this one didn't disappoint. The view is nice and there was lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Each pace has its own bar. Our server was great but she was the only server outside, which was packed, so drinks took a bit of time to get to us. Drinks were really good. They have espresso martini towers, which I was really excited about. I plan on getting one of those next time!

Beautiful atmosphere! DJ was perfect, bartender knew her shit, everyone was so friendly. Just perfect. Drinks were amazing, we had old fashioned's and espresso martini's.

Corn ribs, bar fries, $5 bubbles

I recently had a solo girl dinner at Bar Genevieve, and it was an excellent experience! That was my first time visiting their space, and I really loved the decor, the vibes, and of course, the rooftop views! They do a happy hour special during the week with $5, $10, and $15 bubbles. I ordered the $5 bubbles to drink, and for my "girl dinner", I had the bar fries and the corn ribs. Both were so flavorful and perfectly seasoned! My server was very attentive and friendly. When I went to the terrace to check out more of the rooftop views during golden hour, I even got to witness a romantic proposal! I will definitely be going back to try more of their menu soon!

We came here for a drink while waiting for dinner across the street. The patio was first come, first served and it wasn't too busy so grabbed a few spots at the outdoor bar. The drinks were delicious. Like, 10/10 great. I was underwhelmed when my $15 cocktail was served in a plastic cup though. If it's above $10, I deserve a glass. I said what I said. It cheapened the experience for sure. Other than that, service was great. View was incredible. It was a 5 star experience other than drinking out of plastic.

Stunning rooftop bar with a cozy, moody ambiance. Perfect for a GNO or date night. There's both outdoor and indoor seating with a variety of table sizes for any group. Cocktail menu is small but mighty with fun drinks that span palettes. We were able to walk in on a Saturday night and secure an indoor table for 6 with no problem. The staff are also super friendly and fun which adds to the overall experience.

Cute restaurant to sit in

Went there for brunch and left somewhat disappointed. Cute restaurant on the sixth floor. There was seating inside and outside - but for brunch, there wasn't any service outside. Looking at the menu and place, I had high expectations and was ready for delicious food. Food was okay. Avocado toast was decent. French toast was unimpressive. Mimosa did not have fresh orange juice. Overall, nice location and ambience. Quality of brunch food did not live up to expectations.

We were visiting a speakeasy in the back when we decided to go somewhere else. This was the closest and we were happy to stop for drinks. It's a roof top bar with indoor/outdoor space and they made well balanced cocktails. Our server was funny and attentive, making the experience that much better.

My group of 3 was excited to get a 7:15p reservation for the holiday season. Definitely make this a priority as this space stays busy and from our observation, also understaffed. The team there hustled all night but service was slow. We were happy to linger but if you are on a schedule I'd be proactive about getting the check. The food menu was small. The primary meal was a burger and fries, the others were small plates only. I got the crepe and goat cheese croquettes but neither knocked my socks off. The charcuterie tray was awesome though. I'd come back for this alone! I also loved my old fashioned - both of them! Their cocktail menu was interesting and my friends enjoyed their options, but sometimes you crave the old fashioned. The upstairs venue is gorgeous. Velvety couches and fun chairs. There's also a fantastic patio that overlooks downtown. During warmer weather there's a bar there too. Put this spot on your list to visit!

Quiet Sunday night-enjoyed our cocktails. Enjoyed the smashburger & half dozen oysters. Kitchen was out of croquettes & dates tonight. Our service was great! Was a little chilly inside, but the seating was cozy & vibe was trendy.

I peed off the roof at this place on a Tuesday evening. With that said, great cocktails and solid bites. I promise I won't peepee again.

Do not expect fast service. Bar tenders may be bared out. Never experienced such slow service on a Tuesday evening

It was a full house but everything was really good as far as drinks and food. Staff was nice considerate and updating you when it comes to something taking too long, getting another beverage. The whole 9 yards. We got the Neapolitan flat bread and it was great! Also the popcorn of the night was lime chili and it'll knock your socks off! So tasty. Drinks were French 75, house margarita, a smoked and sour, and another drink my friend got I can't recall the name of. The ambiance is so cute down to the light when you enter with the name. The vibes is warm low light. Parking is street only and limited. You may have to park a block up and walk.

I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.

I enjoyed just hanging out, people watching, and chatting with the friendly bartenders. They have cocktails and mocktails in abundance... there's literally something for everyone. And they even had these chocolate shot glasses. So cool! All in all, the place just seems like a perfect neighborhood bar. I was able to score a visit recently on Derby Week, and that will be one of the highlights of Derby Week this year for me. We arrived shortly before our reservation time after hearing that our table was ready. I was seated at the bar, to be joined by my good friend a few minutes later. The cocktail menu sounded intriguing, and I started with an Oopsie Daisy and she sprung for Fighting Words. As we sipped our drinks, we perused the menu and decided on an array of mezze as our meal that night. Crispy cauliflower arrived first, followed shortly by tuna tartare, then whipped labneh and spring pea hummus. They even provided a gluten free pita option for the gluten sensitive in our party. Out of our choices, the cauliflower and the spring pea hummus were my favorites, although everything was very good. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and kept our waters full, cleared plates as appropriate, and made sure we didn't need anything else during our visit. Worth every one of its 5 stars, I think you'll enjoy Meesh Meesh just as much when you go, too!
