It's not flashy, but it is honest and fairly plentiful. It kind of reminds us of the shanty Mexican places that are street side in Vallarta or Mazatlan. The service was quick, the food came out quick, and their beverage options are wide ranging and pretty tasty. I mean what Mexican place can you think of that has a Japanese lager on tap? The parking is terrible, it's tucked away just outside of old downtown Nanaimo, and you really should give it a go!

I got 2 regular sized tacos and 1 kid sized taco and it was too much. These tacos are massive. The fish taco itself was quite bland and it just didn't hit the spot. They are also very popular so I suggest calling and ordering ahead of time. It's a cash only spot too, and the closest atm is a 5 minute drive. Some of their popular items sell out pretty early too so I go earlier if you can!
