It was good but the service left a lot to be desired. Pros:…read more - EV charging station right out front - Ample amount of parking - Enchiladas were good - Comfortable seating Mid: - The chicken soup was only okay compared to other places we've been to - Prices were average. Meh: - There was a misunderstanding between us and the server. We had wanted 2 soups and 2 enchiladas, but he misunderstood it to be 1 soup and 3 enchiladas. Mistakes happen, I completely understand, but when we told the server he was trying to blame us and stated that we had ordered 3 enchiladas. There were 4 of us and we thought it was pretty clear it was 2 and 2. Given some time, he huffed and corrected the order. - After we paid, I decided to look at the bill and realized we were charged the completely wrong bill. When I went to tell the server he said, "no it's the right one", I repeated it wasn't. He said "yes, 2 soup and 2 enchiladas." And I finally said "but this says 2 burgers". Then he finally caught on and we finally paid our correct bill. It was a lot of unnecessary back and forth.

It's bright inside with lots of colourful murals. I ordered coffee, it was nice and strong, with milk arriving in a little skull pot! I decided to have a cod burrito, which I think would've been fine with a regular salsa but I ordered mole. That type of sauce is a little bit too overpowering for fish so I would recommend not to do that. It wasn't the fault of the restaurant though. The burrito was very good, filling and used cabbage with rice. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I would visit this place again and maybe try it tostada or some of their other offerings.

We both ordered the cosmic burger which arrived in an absurd 50 minutes after ordering, it lacked in the flavour department big time. Our server and the bus/host team were great, very well mannered and respectful. The atmosphere was nice. Good music and an ocean view. The main issue is the kitchen, the restaurant was no where near full but the excuse given to us was that the kitchen staff became overwhelmed with orders... not acceptable in our opinion.

We were actually camping at Rathtrevor Provincial Park. The food was outstanding: we started with these panko crusted white cheddar cheese balls sprinkled with Parmesan cheese--crispy, gooey and yummy. I had a Guinness on tap which was one of the freshest I had ever had and not a bit bitter. The server (who was super friendly and knowledgeable) steered me to the creamy seafood chowder which was filled with salmon, halibut, scallops, prawns and clams and not at all salty . After dinner we enjoyed a stroll along the rocky coast in front of the resort. Next time we are anywhere near Nanoose Bay, we will be back!
