Listen... Bar 44 ATL is a whole vibe!! From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for a good time. The energy was chill, the crowd was fun, and the DJ? Whew! He had us singing, dancing, and vibing all night with the perfect mix of R&B, hip-hop, and feel good classics. Definitely felt like the spot where good memories are made. Now let's talk about the FOOD! My son had the cheeseburger and fries, and let me tell you, that plate was gone in minutes! I had the fried rice with the salmon bites and oh my goodness everything hit the spot. The seasoning, the texture, the flavors... it was chef's kiss! You can tell they put love into the food here. Our waitress, Tiana, was absolutely amazing! Her customer service was top tier funny, happy, polite, and so attentive. Her energy was everything! Ok so I'll be honest, I was expecting another Atl bar when I went here- it's not, in the best of ways! Usually in Atl something is lacking about your experience but not here... Vibe - The place is sports bar meets, trendy night spot meets party with friends. Bar 44 does have sections but it's not the typical "sit in your section & look better than everyone" vibe. Everyone's interacting, dancing, chatting & enjoying themselves. There's a DJ on the weekends & feature nights with live music, r&b nights & other events during the week. If you want more chill come on the weekdays or early on the weekend... if you like it a bit more lively come on the weekends after 9. Service- everyone who works here seems legitimately happy to be there. Smiling, great service & will even hit a little two step with you if the right song hits. Food- The food is bomb ok? I haven't tried a I thing there I don't like but the stand out for me are the Birria tacos (& this is coming from a So Cal girl) those things are addictive so watch out! Anddd... it's Black owned! I went on a Saturday night & had a blast. During my recent visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of being served by Cat, who was an exceptional server/host. She went out of her way to ensure I had a memorable experience, providing great suggestions on food and drinks that were perfect for my taste buds. I must say that the birria chicken tacos were the highlight of my meal, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who visits this place. However, I would like to inform future visitors that bottled water is priced at $4, so it would be wise to keep that in mind while placing the order. Had such a great time here! Tiana was absolutely amazing -- super attentive, fun, and kept the drinks and good vibes flowing all night. The atmosphere was a solid 10/10: lively, energetic, and just what you want for a fun night out. The DJ was on point, playing current hits that had everyone dancing and singing along. I have gone a few times, the service was always great. The servers remembered my fav drink. They were attentive and courteous. Every time I go its a vibe. Plenty of seating is a def plus and you don't have to buy a section in order to sit down. Plus the wait times for the bathroom are always minimal. The parking lot is small, and if you go in to far you have to cricle the building and if your in larger vehicle that can be tricky, but all in all I love it there. read more

Bar 44 was Fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was superb. I had the Boom Boom Shrimp as a starter, followed by the Blackened Salmon and Rice Pilaf.
