Honestly, this is what we needed in the Kennesaw area. The food and vibe here is great. Whether you're just looking to catch the game & grab some drinks or hit the hookah, they've got you covered. They also have a banging brunch you should come checkout. I recommend you order those lemon - hot pepper wangz. Boy are they . I wanted a second order and so are the fries that come with them. We also devoured their shrimp & grits. The food is perfectly seasoned, someone back in that kitchen knows how to cook read more

Tiana at Bar 44 was absolutely amazing! She knew the menu inside and out and recommended the salmon bites--which were chef's kiss! For our entrées, my boyfriend and I went with the jerk chicken Alfredo pasta and the jerk chicken wrap, and both were 10/10. Tiana was so thoughtful and attentive the entire time, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it--just make sure to ask for Tiana! You won't regret it! read more

Super cute upscale urban bar/lounge in Marietta/Kennesaw! Owner MUST be a basketball fan. The venue is decorated nicely with a basketball theme. Menu items from drinks to food are basketball themed as well. I had the infamous 4 and 1 drink which includes like 4 tequilas. It was really good. It is destined to put margaritas out the game. That's how good it was. Strong! But still full of flavor. Loved it. I ordered the hot wings which came with fries. I consider myself a hotwing connoisseur. Wing sauce was just ok for me. Fries were good, pretty standard. My friend had lemon pepper wings, I tried one, those were really good. I'll probably get those next time. She also had the "nothing but net",which included D"usse, she greatly enjoyed. We are D"usse lovers, and most bars usually feature Hennessy in drinks, so this was pretty impressive for us. My other friends had the salmon dinner and a burger which they both really liked. They also have lamb chops and other gourmet menu items. I'll be back to give them a try. They also have sections with bottle service and hookahs if you're in to that. It's hard to find a nearby bar with good food and drinks and they definitely accomplished both for my friends and I. This may be our new spot! read more

Service was slow in the place. Came in took about a hour to get food for a place that had less than 10 people in it. No silverware for almost another 15-30 minutes. Next the food was subpar for the weight. The waitress did her best to save the place kudos to her very loyal to a real bad establishment. The hookah had sheash in the water I have never heard of that in my life. Hookah girl needs to be fired. Have you ever of that before? Please nobody wants to hear karaoke or new artist with only 10 people there. If this was club would make sense. Ultimate fail someone needs to call the health department. Ambiance was not it. I will never step foot in here again wish I could remove the star make a Negative. read more

I heard about this spot for a while and ran across a video on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Highly suggested to make a reservation as it tends to get really packed. I didn't go there for food but I did order some jerk wings and fries to go and it was delicious I have 0 complaints. The drinks were absolutely amazing some of the best that I have had. The hookah was also really good it was the house suggestion. The only thing I would suggest is to take the balloons down, and maybe add more artwork to the walls. read more

Bar 44 in Marietta is a brand new black-owned sports bar. This place is definitely a vibe! Food was great, went for Sunday brunch. Had the Chicken and Waffles and the Fried Catfish with Smoked Gouda Cheese Grits. I'm not a fan of chicken strips with the Chicken and Waffles; I prefer whole fried wings but it was still good. Service was great; Bartender recommended the 4th and 1 Signature Cocktail that features Pyrat Tum, Casamigos Tequila, Don Julio Tequila, Patron Tequila, Lobos and Grand Marnier. The drink did what it was needed to go if you know what I mean! Great place! read more

I gave it a little time since my first time coming to this bar . Coming in with HIGH hopes . Supporting black business are imperative to me but I was truly disappointed due to several things . I will start with the positives first though. Pros 1. Great Dj - played a diverse playlist that cater to everyone 2. Had a lot of tv screens to watch the game 3. Waiters were so nice and continued to apologize for the issue that kept occurring 1. Sitting format -When you come and you do not have a reservation you will have to sit in a booth with random people . Which is their way to accommodate for everyone . 2 . It took 30 mins to get out our drinks and they told us we could not order food in the first hour due to the kitchen being behind 3. We finally placed an order for food and waited for an 1hour and 30 mins just to find out they were out of the food we order 4. The manger / OWNER named Holiday (super tall guy) comes over and we try to rectify the situation but he was terrible and couldn't even hold the conversation properly as a business professional . Said he would come back to take care of us because he could see how frustrated we were but he was too busy take pictures with people and drinking . Overall 2/10 read more

The band was terrific and the jerk chicken pasta was amazing. The automatic gratuity wasn't apparent so not pleased that I double tipped. However, I'll let it go since I had such a pleasant evening with friends. read more

This was my first time at this restaurant. I wanted to check it out from the reviews I saw on IG. I was not pleased with their service. The Food was not hot when it was served to us, the Hookah did not last long, it was a boring night, maybe because the All Star Game was playing. The manager A said he was going to bring coals for the Hookah but never did. When he came back to our table, he insisted on selling us another Hookah. The drinks were strong and the parking was ok. I will not be back. read more

Horrible service literally. Came twice for $1 hookah Thursdays, which they advertised just for you to get told that they only have one flavor that comes with this advertisement. Then, the entire staff sit in their booth by the bar serving each other, smoking hookah while the hookah we received had to be sent back more than once bc its burnt and you couldn't enjoy it. What really blew us is that I ordered food like an hour before just for the waiter Chris to ask me what I had ordered, after not receiving my food at all and this happened the exact same way when I came the first time. This place is a NO. read more

My new fav spot to watch the game. Great atmosphere. Drinks were on point. The 44 sampler is a must. You get a little of everything.

Came here on a girls night for food and fun...upon entering see were greeted n sat at a tables where the waitress checked in. I ordered burria tacos and a drink. It did take a bit for both food and drinks to arrive about 20 minutes. I will say the drinks are good! Our waitress while she was nice it took longer than I would've expected for the food. There were hardly any people there so I couldn't imagine if it were packed. For a Saturday night it was pretty empty. Now we did arrive around 8:30pm so maybe it's more of a night spot than evening hang out but we wanted to be social so left after eating. I will say the burria tacos were kind of hard to eat due to the tortilla being crispy however, maybe other entree's would be better based on pics. Overall, I would recommend this spot for drinks, unsure about food but service can be kind of slow too. I did like the aspect of trying something new but would only recommend for a low key night where u want to be out of the house n not around a bunch of people. The only other thing I took note of was that it took forever to get the check and leave. There were less than 20 ppl there I don't feel like it should have taken that long but the place is new try it out if your feeling adventurous. read more

This was my first time at this location and I went on a Friday night. The place is spacious with a nice amount of bar seating. Tables and sectionals are idea for parties of 3 and more. It was pretty slow on a Friday night. I wonder if people know about this spot. Either way, the music was good, beautiful women working and not working. Manager was accommodating as I watched someone dissatisfied with their food. The manager replaced it with a whole other dish which most places don't do. It seems like a black establishment without the over pricing and poor service. My food was tasty, not amazing, but better than most comparable places. Only negative interaction I had was with the bartender trying to make me pay twice because she didn't understand their pay via QR code process. Could have been embarrassing if one was that sensitive. I was patient with her and the managers came out to correct her. Overall, I would go back but with a group of friends. read more

Food is great. Music is great I mainly go on Friday. Dj self love is giving the vibes. Our waitress Armani was amazing and attentive!

Cat is amazing. Great customer service and very attentive. Bar44 has a cute ambience and it's perfect for game days.

Party of two we were seated immediately! We ordered lamb chops ( can't remember the sides lol) and shrimp Alfredo. Both entrees was pretty good BUT I can tell the Alfredo was sitting out or had been warmed up while the other entree was being prepared because it was lukewarm, which is why I took off a star. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The alcoholic drink I had was decent , I would get it again. Overall I enjoyed our experience, I will return read more

This Bar offers many screens and a good atmosphere. We visited on a Friday night and it was relatively empty. The waitress was friendly, although she was smoking hookah with other waitresses on the side of the bar most of the visit. Also note there is an 18% service charge that they state does not go to the server so they are still expecting a tip on top of the service charge. So for two drinks and 1 appetizer, I spent $73 which may explain the emptiness on a Friday. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. Main reason is I was overcharged for everything on my tab. They literally taxed everything I had before taxes and then added additional taxes and gratuity at the end again. Gratuity was ok as it states it on the menu, we didn't have an issue with that. I'm not argumentative so we paid and talked trash in the car about it lol. We won't ever be returning anyways! This was on a Sunday literally 2 other ppl was there. 4 guest total. No crowd activity at all. After our experience we quickly found out why. Music was being played from someone's playlist on their phone. The food was horrible and bland. The jerk chicken meat that is used for all the dishes is precooked meat, tacos as well all the same meat. which makes the prices wicked! I did not like the food at all wings was not fried enough either. Ambience was nice, staff was attentive and friendly. I did like the drinks and hookah that I was overcharged and double taxed on but I guess it was worth the experience. Thanks Bar44 read more

We love the fact that this place is local. Music is always good and food is amazing. Only feedback I would give for improvement would be honesty from the wait staff. They don't bring you a paper bill. They come to your table with a handheld digital system that doesn't allow you to see your bill. They tell you your total and of course give you an option to tip, but they don't mention that the tip is already included. I've gone here several times and the first 3 or 4 times I double tipped and didn't realize it till recently. They add gratuity to every tab regardless of the size of your party. There's no reason to try to scam your customers. Be honest and let them know that gratuity is included. Other than that, everything else is great. read more

I love it here! Bar44 is exactly what Marietta needed. It's giving upscale lounge and high-end restaurant with sprinkles of the Atlanta culture: hookah, DJ, and lots of Flat Screens. It's a one stop shop for chill Brunch or Night out. My friend and I had the House Chicken & Waffles and the Shrimp & Smoked Gouda Grits. Chef's kiss They also had Empress Gin to make me a French 75 and that sealed the deal for me. I'll definitely be back. The service was great from the moment we walked in until we left. The manager and owner even came over to check on us and make sure we had a great experience. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

I had a horrible experience here. The food came out 40 mins after ordering. Poor boy had 4 pieces of shrimp. They did not bring out the right food, chicken instead of salmon on salmon salad. Spoke with manager, who agreed to remake the salad I asked to take the salad off the check but they cancelled the salad, after we were sitting there waiting for the right salad. My check was not discounted at all, which I shouldn't have had to even ask for a discount. Will not return I do not recommend. read more

My wife and I went there for brunch today. We walked in at 1215p. Now they opened at 12p. We were the first in and were asked if we had a resv. We said no, and the young lady went to ask where we could sit. OK, I get it. We didn't do a Resv. But the place was empty. We sat down, and another came lady came and said the cook was just prepping, so everything on the menu may not be offered. Then she took our drinks. Another couple walked in, sat down, and got their drinks before us. Then our server came back and said. We dont have waffles or grits and that the manager went to the store. So I said all you have, then is eggs. She said yes. Still no drinks. So we decided to leave. If you are going to serve brunch, then you should know what you need or what you don't have before you open. And if you open at 12p. Have what's on the menu ready at 12p. I will support you all day, but I will let you know when it is not right. My first look was not good. I will give them one more try in about a month. read more
