Came here with my wife as a means of using up some Amex Hilton credit card credits and thought we'd give this top-of-the-building spot a go. Honestly, the panoramic views of the city and the lake are to die for! Showing up right at dusk is definitely the pro move. We had a window-side high-top table and ordered a round of Black Gold cocktails to start. We then decided to share a bunch of small bites for our meal...Korean fried chicken, short rib fritters and a lobster roll. These three dishes seems like just the right amount of food for what we were after. Each dish was well prepared and presented in a lovely fashion, we enjoyed all three choices. We enjoyed our sunset meal, our cocktails and the space in general. I think they occasionally have live music as well, so we'll have to look out for that for a future return trip. read more

Ambiance is great! Located on the top Floor of the Hilton Cleveland Downtown this bar/restaurant has breathtaking views of Lake Erie and of Downtown Cleveland. We have frequently visit when staying at the hotel as the food is pretty tasty. Service is slow and more of a bar feel but it's still good service. There is indoor seating and the patio is open however in both November and February it was inside dining. A Diet Coke (or similar) will run you $4.50. For lunch I had a steak sandwich ($18), and Chris had the colossal pretzel ($17). The views are great day or night and even though this is a hotel bar people come here for the views and drinks even if they are not staying at the Hilton. read more

This place is all about the views, and it was a lot of fun! My company recently hosted an event and rented out Bar 32 for the evening, so while we did enjoy some off menu items, we had access to the full bar. I really enjoyed the Hibiscus Paloma - it was really refreshing and fruity, and loved sitting on the patio with a cocktail at sunset. It did get really crowded around sunset when our private event ended. we stuck around for a while after and the bar filled up really quickly! So if you want to get a good seat, you may want to get there early. read more

Stopped here when we had some time to kill before a reception and so glad we did. We shared the pretzel and house fries. The truffle aioli that the fries came with was the perfect amount of truffle flavor (which is lots) and even had chunks of truffle in it. The fries themselves were covered in Parmesan but a little plain by themselves. However, that was fine by me as it allowed the truffle aioli to be front and center. The pretzel was also delicious. Really enjoyed the cheese sauce and Dijon served with it. The pretzel was covered in salt and everything but the bagel seasoning and just a really good bar pretzel. Who doesn't love drinks with a view? Bar 32 is the rooftop bar located on the 32nd floor of the Hilton in Downtown Cleveland. Great stop for visitors to the city or locals who just want to enjoy a birdseye view of the city. Service leaves much to be desired. My friend and I came specifically for their balcony and when we tried to go to the door it was locked. We went to ask the bartender and he said it was open. He basically made fun of others who were unable to find it and pointed towards this other door to the left. So we ordered our drinks. My friend had a Moscow Mule and I had a Makers Gingerale. Drinks were okay. So we go to the left door that was suggested, also locked... We asked another employee that told us how OBVIOUS it was the wall was open?!?! Ughhhh clearly not obvious enough. If you had previous guests with issues, and now more guests had issues... it is an operational issue with the bar and not an exception case with a dumb customer. Considering the balcony outdoor area is the gem of this place, they can be a better job showing the opening to the outdoor section. Once we got out to the balcony, the view was stunning. To the left side you can see the Brown's stadium. I can see this place being super hot on game night. To the right, you can see the city's lights at night. Absolutely gorgeous. read more

I'm from Nevada and the bar drinks were ok. The fact there was a good view did help make the night super fun. Didn't like t he pretz we l snack and most things are over priced. Cleveland shuts down early so this was probably one of the best things open that was within a decent proximity. I didn't bring a winter coat. Not realizing the wind from the lakes felt like a cold winter day. Again check it out. Maybe this is more you're scene than mine. Maybe you'll find better priced snacks here too. Vibes, scenery and great staff! The rooftop faces the lake and the rock and roll hall of fame. Now the menu isn't big and neither is the space. It gets crowded fast. They do not take reservations, so go early. The Aperol made the ride yo to the 32nd floor worth it. This is the rooftop inside the Hilton hotel downtown. Recently stopped in for drinks after dinner. The views are absolutely breathtaking as you overlook the city and can see the Browns Stadium, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Science center from the lounge around. Drinks are reasonably priced averaging around $15. Our server was very attentive and kept checking in on us and refreshing our drinks. We went on a Saturday night and the DJ played a lot of techno music it would have been nice to have a mixture of various genres. Stopped here for a night cap after a meal downtown. Lovely little lounge. Panoramic views both inside and out. It was a little windy and a bit chilly on the patio area but it was packed. Clearly a downtown favorite of many. Service was friendly. I got the S'mores Old Fashioned. Graham cracker infused bourbon with toasted marshmallow garnish. Very yummy and suitable to the season. There was a small stage area that looked like they have live music. A small private area off to the side boasted comfy couches but it was closed off. Wowwww!!! This place has an AMAZING view of Lake Erie as welllll as a view of the browns stadium for all the browns fans out there. I'm not sure if they have a "dress code" as I showed up in jeans, crocs and a T-shirt, no one seemed to mind but I did feel ALITTLE out of place. Host at the door was VERY respectful and kind. We sat in the outside area. They have glass all around the outdoor area. For all my long hair ladies you will not need to worry about it being windy! I ordered charcuterie with a glass of rosé **oops** I spilled some on my shirt and the waitress was kind enough to bring me some seltzer water and a napkin! Second review (of the day) that's not as stellar as my usual ones. The Bad: Calamari. BLAND! That's after being sent back to the kitchen because it was over cooked. (note. this has been confirmed to be the standard preparation). Be prepared to wait to place your order. It seems to be done in sections. Plus, they picked up my glass without even questioning if I wanted another cocktail. Nor was I provided a glass of water. This was only provided to others in my party when requested. All orders were requested to be separated by parties at our tabl, but were combined. Some had paid and left but it wasn't recorded. Instead they tried to ask those remaining to pay the tab. Copies of their paid checks were sent as proof of payment. Some were even overcharged with a promise of it being corrected once all paid as we worked to separate each purchase. The Good: The Proper Daiquiri was very balanced! Tasty. Definitely recommend. Also, the Everything Colossal Soft Pretzel was AMAZING. The Recommendation: Come early. Let me start by saying Bar 32 has an great view. If your main priority is sitting outside downtown with a stellar view of Lake Erie, this place has that. I've been coming to this Hilton since it opened. Visiting approximately 4 times a year prior to COVID. My usual duration was 4 days on average. So I've had many occasions to visit Bar32. Now, we live in NE Ohio and we decided to revisit the location last night. Sadly I have to say the outdoor space was a little run down. Finger prints all over the glass, and several spider webs the size of my torso inhabited by their builders against the glass. Obviously, the glass and webs had not been cleaned in some time. Table service was decent for a busy evening. Cocktails were excellent. Restrooms were perfectly maintained. Food was mediocre. My Gnocchi dish arrived with burnt gnocchi. So overcooked it's was black on one side. The chorizo was so over cooked it was hard and dry. We were pleased to see that there was a live performance. From what we could hear, she was wonderful. Unfortunately the wall of glass windows were open to the outdoor patio and management left loud speaker system playing completely different music on while the performer was on stage. The contrasting music playing simultaneously truly took away from the ambience. I would have preferred to hear the performance alone. Unfortunately this former jewel of the Cleveland Metro waterfront has lost some of its luster. read more

I visited Bar 32 to check out a downtown rooftop bar. My low review is based on the drinks. I was able to try the Lake Effect and Gin Berry- they were wayyyy too sweet, and not well-made + over-priced of course. I think I've gotten better drinks at Applebees. But are you here for a good cocktail? Maybe not. Reasons to still come here- cool atmosphere with awesome view of the city. It was a little too cold when I went, but they have an outdoor patio where you can a nice view of the lake. I was also able to try some of my friend's pretzel and it was absolutely delicious. I wouldn't come back here solely for the drinks, but if you want a bar with a nice view and some food- this can be your option. read more

Bartender guy with the salt and pepper pony tail, total D bag. This was a week night evening, not right before close, middle of a seemingly chill night for the workers. He didn't say anything when I sat at the bar, just walked over and nodded his head at me like I was wasting his time already, expecting me to recite my order within 2 seconds of me sitting down. I said hi, asked him "do you guys do espresso martinis?" And he rolled his eyes, said "sure..." and proceeded to make a crappy one with Irish cream, no real espresso, well vodka, $15. I'm a bartender, I get it, it's one of those questions you get all the time, but atleast pretend it doesn't annoy you and I don't know, smile and welcome someone who just sat at your bar? Or maybe let me know you don't have an espresso machine and it's gonna be the gross version nobody wants? Anyways, he didn't say another word to me the entire interaction, just was complaining to one of the servers at the drink station about "these people" and then practically threw the check book at me. No "thank you," no "have a good rest of your night", not even eye contact. Just set it in front of me and stomped his little angry self away from me. I still tipped him $2 on $40, should've been 0 honestly but I let the fact that I'm a bartender get in the way of stiffing this A-hole. Awful experience. Never going back :) read more

Really cool vibe, chill for a while atmosphere. Of course the views are spectacular from the patio to the side room with the glass walls to the women's restroom with the glass wall. Just a great place to hang out. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. We had the rum punch and the tequila sunrise - both very good. Giant pretzel was very yummy, the salad with the apples and apple cider vinegar dressing was okay, the hanger steak was very good, a bit pricey for the size of the steak but it was very good. read more

Beautiful view of Cleveland from Bar 32. Always a relaxed, chill vibe whenever I pop in here. The employees are always incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to be helpful. The Pineapple Basil Martini and The Brambler are two drinks not to be missed. The bartenders at Bar 32 know what they're doing. Their small plates are all hits; I've never had one I haven't enjoyed. The Artisanal Charcuterie board is what a charcuterie board should be. The Crispy Tator Tot Side is crispy perfection, with a hint of garlic, herbs and finished of with Parmesan. It's always the right time to order a bottle of Dom Perignon and some tots to share with friends. Bar 32 is located high atop the Hilton Hotel on the 32nd floor in downtown Cleveland, OH. We visited one evening for cocktails - and a bite to eat. I ordered their version of a Manhattan - but got them to substitute orange bitters for the standard Angostura bitters. Makes for a better, "brighter, fresher" cocktail IMO. We also shared an order of their Nachos - pretty good Nachos. The cocktails were well constructed and tasty! Hit the spot! Our server was amazing. As crazy busy as the place was, she still managed to get us our drinks and food in short order. We also decided our server looks a lot like actress Emma Dumont - who plays Lorna Dane aka "Polaris" on the television show "The Gifted." We told her she reminded us of someone famous - took me a few minutes to figure it out. We showed her a picture of Emma Dumont - and she agreed - there is an uncanny resemblance! Cool bar! This place is super cool! The view from the 32nd floor of Cleveland and Lake Erie is spectacular. Enjoy a good cocktail with a view. The food selection is not immense but looked really good. Did not eat this time around but have in the past and food is delicious. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. This place can get busy very quickly and most times I have visited, there is a wait line out of the door but it moves along fast. Everyone loves the view here. I would recommend taking friends here who perhaps aren't from Cleveland (they will get a birds eye view of the city's landmarks). Just don't soar too much after you have a couple of the cocktails (they are a bit expensive but the pours are great). read more

We came here for our friend's post-rehearsal dinner night cap, the view is so great. You can see the football stadium and it's such a cool balcony/rooftop. However, as the night got later, we saw huge crowds come in and there was barely room to even walk or stand, they should be more conscious of how crowded it is because it's not fun for anyone to be packed in like sardines. The bartenders were slinging drinks left and right because of how many people were there so it definitely made them a little irritated and overwhelmed. Love the view. Sits right on the lake, you can see the stadium's. The layout is great, there's tables and sofas and a bar. There's outdoor seating. Nice mix of seating for all types of groups. The drinks are excellent. But you pay $$$. The food is extremely limited. I usually get the hummus (they call chick pea) but run out of pita before the dish is done. It's a lovely place to go if you're looking to pass some time. It's not really a place to stay for a while as it's not very large and people are constantly looking for places to sit since there aren't many. Almost gives it a rushed feel. What makes it so you have to stay a bit longer than you planned is that service is very slow here. I'm not sure if they don't hire as many people as they need but they're all so busy it's hard for them to stop and greet you, much less be quick with drinks or small bites. Aside from service the views are so beautiful here. It overlooks the lake and all the buildings light up at night making the view spectacular. The only positive for our experience was the views. Cleveland does not have many "rooftop bars" but this is one of them. Although it's more of a glass balcony than a true rooftop. Service was very lackluster. No one greeted my party and we had to walk up to the bar and ask if seething was first come first serve. They said yes so we say ourselves. There were not many tables and we had to sit at one that was just vacated. It took awhile for anyone to come around and clear off the table. The one drink I ordered they were out of. The other two I got were okay, but nothing special. Overall, the service was substandard and seemed to cater to a certain demographic (presumably the dressed up hotel guests). read more

I primarily came here because I wanted to check out the view of the city and try one of their delicious drinks that I'd read about. When you pull up to the hotel and walk inside, walk to the left of the staircase around to the elevators, and head up to floor 32. Once you get up, it's the only thing up there so you can't miss it. Inviting entry way and upon walking in, you're impressed. I went on a Thursday night and it was pretty packed, with green and blue up lights giving the place some awesome ambiance. There are windows all around, which allows a beautiful panoramic view, even at night! Swanky seating, too! I grabbed an October Rust which is a mix of Hennessy, Grand Marnier, Tina Marie, and crema. DELCIOUS and packs a real punch! I was also considering a drink called The View but October Rust came recommended by the waitress. The drinks average about 13 bucks and up. There is also a small food menu but it's definitely not meant for you to get full from; some charcuteries and such. I grabbed some great pics and had a great drink! I would love to come back and visit this place in the summer! I totally recommend it for having one of the best (if not THE best) view of the city. read more
