Great cafe next to the BAPS temple. Gated area just tell the attendant you're visiting. Head right and park in designated areas. The cafe will be the small building with outdoor seating area. Lots of sweet and savory items to choose from. All made fresh in house. Hot prepared items, masala tea & samosas. On the weekends they have more prepared food items available. I luv papdi chips! This cafe has some of my favorite ones. Masala please! Luv that spice. It has a sort of egg yolk sort of flavor, crispy and light. It's hard to have just one. Thank you friend for introducing me.

This review is about the sweet and snacks place. The store has lots of variety of it and so much cheaper than Bhanu or Punjab in Rosemead city. It has warm food like freshly made puri and lots of places to sit down and enjoy. There is also masala tea. See pics . Dec 28,2024

This is actually a café and a store. The door to this area brings you into the store and the café is inside to the right. To get to this café & store, you need to go to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills. It is a Hindu Temple. The Café is open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Someone had said that the mango lassi from here was the best they ever had, so I wanted to try it for myself. While it wasn't the best I have ever had, it was good! It was very refreshing! I selected it & a Masala Chhas from the refrigerator. They are ready made & bottled drinks. We didn't care for the Masala Chhas, which is an Indian Spiced Buttermilk. I bought them from the café area. At the cashier's area, you can also buy a few snacks as you pay for your other purchases. It's quick and convenient to add on some Aloo Puffs, Samosas, or Patra. After we enjoyed walking around the temple grounds, we came back to the store. We shopped and bought some pre-packaged snacks to take home. The store is full of both sweet & savory snacks! If we go back, I might try their Thali. I love Thalis because you get a little bit of a bunch of dishes. They're served only Thursday-Sunday.

We've ordered the combo plate from the cafe without knowing what's in it. Well, we finished everything no explanation is needed. We also bought some goodies called London chocolate and another one with dates and pistachio but I forgot the name. Those were delightful and not too sweet. I wish this location was close by because I'd eat there again if it were.

So tasty! It looks like the cafe was under construction. They still have great food, but I don't think that it was their full menu.

this is honestly my #1 favorite local coffee shop. i always hype this place up. it helps that it's…read moreless than 10 minutes from my work. i recommend to always order ahead on their website so that your order is ready quickly because the inside is very small. i love how they have so many drink and food options with both sweet and savory choices. they also have snacks near the ordering kiosk. if you really like their coffee, you can also buy their beans here. my go to drink is the mayan mocha. this store made me obsessed with mocha drinks and the way the chocolate and spice compliments the espresso is so delicious. i've tried many variations of sweetness and milks and it always tastes good. i've had their other coffees before and they're also all delicious. i haven't tried their matcha yet because i come here for the coffee. i just realllyyyy love the taste of the coffee beans used here and all the various latte flavors. my favorite food here is the spicy chicken avocado panini. you can choose your side to go with it but i usually choose kale with a side of spicy mayo. it's always perfectly crispy and the flavors go so well together. i have tried some other sweet and savory options and they're all a hit. you can't really go wrong with anything here. the inside is a really small store but it's perfect to eat at quickly before heading to work or while on break if you're solo. not a great place to study or chat with friends. they do have a small bar table inside with 3 seats and 1 or 2 small tables outside with chairs. absolutely love this place. the taste and quality of every food and drink is amazing!

Came across this shop randomly. It's super tiny inside, no restroom. They have 2 tiny round tables…read moreoutside with 2 chairs each but it crowds the entrance of the shop. Inside there are some stools but again very crowded. Definitely a grab & go vs stay and relax or hangout. I ordered from the kiosk since there was a line. Got the Spanish Latte iced, strawberry matcha iced and a jalapeno cheddar bagel with cream cheese. I wish they had other options than just jalapeno cheddar for the bagel since my fiance is allergic to cheese. The drinks and bagel seemed averagely priced. When I saw the drinks they looked really small. The Spanish latte was on the more bitter side but overall good.

The weekend brunch menu and drinks are to drool over and spectacular to have as a treat-yourself…read morekind of meal. I met up with a friend at Wara Cafe and we had the best time sipping on our Shrek Lattes and eating their Croffles. We ordered the Shrek Latte (Hot) and Shrek Latte (Cold) as our drinks, and both got the Croffle w/ Mixed Berries, Fresh Whipped Cream, Hazelnut Drizzle, and because it was the weekend and my stomach begs for brunch food, I also got their Classic Breakfast which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, side of toast, and salad. Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. If you are wondering what it is, it's like a dessert fusion breakfast item in between a croissant and a waffle pressed in a waffle iron. This makes an airy, buttery, crunchy, waffle bite, and it's got me drooling as I am typing this hungry. They pair it here with mixed berries, and their house-made fresh whipped cream. The whipped cream is another story I need to say, because I originally thought it was too much since its a size of an ice cream scoop, but I finished the whole thing and enjoyed every bite of it since it is also one of the best fresh whipped creams I have had. Just get the croffle, OK? 100% gauranteed you will love it and thank me later, please. Also, if I may convince you of another thing. If you love matcha and cinnamon, it is no doubt you will love their Shrek Latte. I read "Matcha, brown sugar, and cinnamon, as their description, and I was immediately sold. Sign me up for another Shrek Latte please, and I'll change my name to Fiona. I absolutely loved it and would order again. The staff here are also beyond friendly, and genuinely sweet. They checked on my friend and I every now and then and made sure we were taken care of. They are all so beautiful, and have such great smiles. I can see why the wait line was so long! I would come back every weekend if I were closer to Wara Cafe, but it just gives me more reason to bring another friend along and make the trip out here. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. My friend and I left with full tummies and a big smile. Thank you!

highlights: - very friendly and attentive staff…read more - food presentation was great - taste of the food was good and the serving size was good - seated quickly cons: - the wait for the food was exceptionally long, my friend and I waited around 40~45min for two breakfast dishes - the food was very good but the wait is something to account for - price was around average but more on the expensive side around ~$20 per person overall: would visit again, but would plan around the wait time, other than that, this restaurant was good!
