Their pricing was also very reasonable. I was worried at first because I did not do a trial, but Grace did a great job with the inspo photo I provided her. We had a total of 6 people requiring service (bridal hair + face, 3x bridesmaids face, 2x mom hair + face, and grooms service). Grace and Francis was on point with their time estimate of how long it would take for each person. We got started at 11am and finished everyone by 3:20 pm. They also provided us with touch up kits, which we never ended up using because the makeup stayed on so well for the whole night. I did appreciate the q-tip because the side of my nose was soooo itchy for some reason and I had to keep dabbing it. I loved how Grace was so patient with explaining about how to apply the touch up, and providing tips on what to do if I have tears. I wasn't sure how to put on my veil with this hairstyle, but Grace helped me out with no hesitation. It's been a week since the wedding and my bridesmaids are still talking about how skilled Francis + Grace is with their makeup application. They were by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful vendor I encountered during all of my wedding research. The biggest pain point was unresponsiveness which was consistently bad from day 1. It was silence for days despite multiple follow ups, even when we got to the month of the wedding. Whenever I did receive an overdue response, they were unapologetic and I might even say rude. Because of the concerns with communication, my planner kept trying to dissuade me from hiring Emily and I held out until the very last moment hoping to find another HMU artist. However, we were close to my wedding date and even with my planner's help, I wasn't able to find an alternative. So I reluctantly signed the contract a few days before the wedding and transferred a $1600 deposit. That's when I came across the reviews on this page about the no shows. That was the (much delayed) final straw, and coincidentally a HMU artist I had reached out to months prior reached out to say she was available for my wedding. So I notified Emily that evening asking if she would consider refunding any part of my deposit. Granted, she has no legal obligation to do so but it had been less than 24 hrs since I had sent her the deposit (in other words, less than 24 hrs that she held my wedding date which means no lost business for her). No response from her. She kept my $1600. Even with forfeiting the deposit, I decided to switch my HMU artist and 1000% believe I made the right decision. If I hadn't, I would have continued to stress about whether she would show up on my wedding day, and even if she had, I'm not sure how the experience would have gone. For example, if I wanted an adjustment to my hair or make up, would she have been accommodating? Shame on me for ever signing with Emily against my better judgement! I never write reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. I don't recommend her for any future brides.

So well in fact, that I had panda eyes when I tried to wash everything off, haha. Throughout the day, I had to re-touch the undereye with q-tips and YSL touch eclat, but that's pretty par for the course. The hair looked as good at the end of the night as it did in the morning for the first look. I'll attach a photo during one of the wardrobe changes, which shows my hair around 8 hours later. She gets back to you in a reasonable of time, is responsible and shows up punctually (I had a 6 am start, so this was important), and most importantly, is really good at what she does. Bonus that she was able to help lace up my corset and get me into my dress. She's a pro at veils and explaining to your party how to swap the veil for the comb as well. Plus, she's really nice and pleasant, which is helpful when you're stressed out. She packs a touch up kit for you, which has trial/deluxe products that you may need, which was a lovely bonus. I appreciate that she used more Bobby pins than hairspray, so washing my hair won't be as difficult later. She hid the Bobby pins incredibly well.
