It…read morehas been almost a week since I walked into ApexNetwork Physical Therapy in San Tan Valley expecting an ordinary PT day and found something I will never forget. The day has passed, but the love I felt that morning certainly has not. Eric, Ian, Justin, and Katie, my therapists, Stephanie and Makayla, the tech assistants, and Jay, the PT student, were all wearing purple. They were wearing purple for Jackie, the beloved Big Bear bald eagle whom I watched for years through the Friends of Big Bear Valley nest camera. Jackie became such an important part of my daily life that I eventually wrote twelve books filled with my memories and stories about Jackie, Shadow, and their family. Then I noticed Eric had even changed the ApexNetwork signs to purple. It was one more little detail that told me how much thought had gone into making that day special for me. They did not simply put on purple shirts. They created a whole room filled with purple and, more importantly, filled it with love. They knew how deeply I loved Jackie and how much losing her affected me. They had listened to my stories, remembered how much she meant to me, and cared enough to honor her with me. I cannot adequately explain what that did to my heart. I felt surprised, honored, loved, and very special. ApexNetwork is a wonderful place to receive physical therapy, but I have learned that what makes this particular place so extraordinary is the staff within those walls. Their knowledge and dedication help strengthen my body three times a week, but their kindness, laughter, compassion, and friendship have helped me in ways that have nothing to do with physical therapy. Somewhere along the way, they became people I look forward to seeing, laughing with, and spending time with. Almost a week later, I can still feel the love they gave me that morning. When I look at this photograph, I see much more than purple shirts and purple signs. I see kindness. I see friendship. I see a group of people who cared enough to say, "Mary Ann, we know you miss her, and today we remember her with you." From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Eric, Ian, Justin, Katie, Stephanie, Makayla, and Jay. You touched my heart more deeply than you will ever know. I went to physical therapy to strengthen my body, but that morning they helped strengthen my heart. Almost a week has passed; the purple shirts have been put away, and the signs have returned to their usual color, but what all of you did for me is still wrapped around my heart. And somewhere in all that purple, I couldn't help but think our Queen Jackie would have approved.

"oh well" attitude when it comes back without the tests you so desperately needed for post cancer management. Oncology releases you to pcp follow up and they have no idea what to run and do not listen to you. Miss management of care, poor follow up, poor service! Keep your receipts as they will try and bill you for what you already paid for... Nightmare!

I…read moreecho those who have noted the positive attitude by staff - everyone from the front desk to the doctors and clinic personnel are very personable and positive. You can tell the people working there enjoy it. That makes it much easier to look forward to your appointments. After several weeks of therapy, I am ready to continue work on my own and I am grateful to Dr. Samantha for her work in diagnosing the issues and helping me get stronger to solve the problem! I just learned that they offer massage services as well - I have one booked - so I will post that information later!

Why you may ask ..... because at 75 years of age my knees were KILLING me! Over the years I found myself sitting more and moving less less and less! I thank God above that I found One Accord! After several weeks of therapy my knees greatly improved and after several more weeks of therapy I am pain free! Not only are the years of pain gone gone gone but my entire body is stronger, my energy level has greatly improved, and I am doing the activities that I thought I would never enjoy again! In my 30 plus year career in psychology I have never experienced a surrounding that was more emotionally supportive than One Accord! If you are in pain. If you find yourself sitting and moving less. I originally asked about a breathing treatment and was told they no longer do them due to Covid. I asked about getting a nebulizer as I couldn't breathe deeply enough to use inhaler. (They know I have COPD) Nothing came of that, the medical assistant told me to go home and use Flonase the way she explained how to. She said I can give you more antibiotics if you want but your lungs are clear so they won't help. I said the doctor mentioned pneumonia last week so she said I can order an xray but that's the only way to know. I said I didn't want more antibiotics if not needed, I wanted to breathe. Again, go home and use the Flonase and she left! This was 8:15 in the morning, so not sure why she was so rude. I've always felt valued before in this office, but this was very unprofessional!

Thanks to a helpful review under my previous doctors office, I was informed that Lauren had moved to this office and was able to follow her here. I have never received such compassionate & helpful care before in my life. Lauren Blizter is hands down the best NP I've ever seen. She is so warm, helpful, efficient, and has provided me with the best care I've ever received in a medical setting. I was sad to hear she was leaving this office but I will be staying because everyone in this building is also incredibly kind and helpful. I always feel seen, heard, and respected. I know that when I come here I will be treated right. To emphasize the level of care this office provides: During one appointment, I was sitting in their lobby waiting to be seen when I got the news that my dog had died. Embarrassingly, I was a mess and couldn't stop crying. Every person that interacted with me in the office was so sweet and understanding and went out of their way to comfort me. Dr. Paige especially was so incredibly kind & comforting. She told me about all of her dogs that she's loved & lost & let me know that they're up in doggy heaven waiting to welcome my pup & protect/look after him. A few days later, I received a card in the mail from Sun Lakes Family Physicians saying sorry for your loss. Everyone in the office signed it and left a heartfelt message. The office says they have been sent but the receiver states there is missing information which causes delays in getting the care I need. I have to make several follow up calls to ensure they get through. Also when requesting labs - they tell me that the orders will be ready next day, I go in to pick them up and they are incomplete. This office creates a barrier to my healthcare.
