Love their menu and recommend both eat-in as well as take-out. There are some very special dishes like red snapper that can be ordered in. The service is good and there is such a variety of dishes. Curry comes in three flavors -yellow, red and green and can be ordered at many heat levels. My favorite is the red curry with shrimp, which is served with a variety of vegetables over white rice. The food is delicious and so are the Boba Teas. I have tried the almond and coffee versions. They are delicious on their own, but mixed together they are amazing. The cold Thai coffee is also delicious. It has a nice flavor and perks you up. I definitely recommend this amazing place. read more

What a wonderful surprise to find a new Thai restaurant near my work! We were given a gift card for Yule and just used it for dinner today. The menu is extensive and the flavors are delightful. I like spicy foods, so I chose a 7 on the spiciness scale...fine for me, but the hubby's eyes were watering a bit. We ordered carryout and had to wait a bit longer than anticipated but it was worth the wait. Portion sizes allow for leftovers...BONUS! We'll be back, for sure! read more

If I could give Bann Thai 6 stars I would! We went while in town visiting relatives and it was easily the best meal of the entire trip. The staff was super friendly, very informative, accommodating and patient - that was such a great help since we had some people with us who had never tried Thai food before. They are converts now! The food was timed perfectly and I cannot stress enough how absolutely freaking delicious it was. It was apparent that everything was fresh and it was all expertly prepared. If you've been thinking 'Hmmmmm - should I try that place?' YES YOU SHOULD!!!!! Definitely try the Moo Ping and the Tom Yum. Oh, and have I mentioned how absolutely cozy and comfortable the restaurant itself is???? My only regret about our dining experience here is that we were enjoying our appetizers and mains so much that we forgot to save room for dessert. Bann Thai was recommended by several friends that knew we lived in Bangkok for 2 years. We decided we had to try it when we recently visited the area. The food was phenomenal. My wife and I had dinner at Bann Thai tonight. We had two appetizers. We had the edamame which was fresh and served hot with just the right amount of salt and the fresh spring rolls served with an amazing sauce. For the main course, we had the cashew stir fry with chicken. It was loaded with chicken and veggies (including lots of red peppers) and just the right amount of spice and oyster sauce. The entire dinner was delicious and loaded with flavor! The service was great and the owners stop at our table and that means a lot to us. We will definitely go back and highly recommend Bann Thai to everyone who is looking for authentic Thai cuisine! read more

My husband and I went here for lunch and then the next day for take out while we were visiting the area. We LOVED the food. It is very fresh and tasty. You get ALOT of food for your money. The spices are great. We liked the relaxing atmosphere, authentic and fresh cuisine and the staff is very friendly. We are going back for sure! We tried the soup and loved it. We also tried the mango bubble tea and thought it was great too...makes a good dessert. Oh and they make their own coconut ice cream which was waaay better than any store ice cream. I'm very disappointed in the food for the price....my order was super disappointing because I ordered garlic shrimp with broccoli & cabbage and there was little of either...there was absolutely no sauce And a teaspoon of sprinkled garlic on the shrimp . Was craving really good Pad Thai. Having lived in larger cities I had come to love authentic Thai cuisine. None of the restaurants around the rural area where I now live fit the bill so I reached out and took a nice summer's evening drive to enjoy the weather and try something new. I'm so glad I did. The Pad Thai was delicious! Plentiful, fresh and perfect aroma and flavor. The garnish was also beautiful and delicious as was the slice of lime - fresh and juicy - a perfect complement to the Pad Thai. Also enjoyed the Moo Ping appetizer. The aromas and flavors were just what I was craving. Beyond the food and easy to reach location on Route 62 I met the owner outside - who was friendly and welcoming of both me and my dog - and when I went inside the staff was welcoming and accommodating. My takeout order placed earlier by phone to be picked up following my drive time was ready on time, hot and well packed for travel. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone and learning about this newer family-owned restaurant and the owners and staff. The portions were perfect, the prices are good, the food is great and all of it - including the owner and staff - make me want to return - soon!
