On the pad Thai alone I could give this place at least 4 stars, some of the best I've had in a long time. Nice little Thai place to go for lunch, good service, fair prices and most of the items you would want to see on a Thai menu are here. They do the 1 thru 10 for spice level, I ordered a 5 and it had about a perfect kick on the pad Thai, if you say higher you will definitely taste it. My friend had the bruce noodles and said they were good as well. Great find for downtown thai. read more

The wait was only 10 minutes to go (and yes they are open during this corona stuff). Pretty big portion size and the meal comes in a nice container for leftovers. Pad Thai was okay but I wish it had more sauce. Other people's reviews look darker so maybe just ask for more if you like the flavor. The crab rangoons were crispy and amazing, I like the light sweet and sour sauce they use as well. They are similar to Panda Express. They win for the appetizer, but Salween Thai wins for the pad Thai. Still recommend anyone in the area to give it a try. read more

My fiance and i love salween thai, but bangkok cuisine will always be our first love and go-to authentic thai restuarant. You know that feeling when your mom makes you bomb ass food and you can tell she made it love? Haha Thats how we feel everytime i go to bangkok cuisine. It is a family owned business and deserves a lot of attention and customers. read more

Great experience, first visit and adding this onto my list of regular eats. Portion sizes were just right; enough to fill you up and doesn't leave you wanting more or needing a to go box. Completely satisfied with service, atmosphere/decor, and hearty meals. Tom kah soup and Pad Thai were the dishes we ate, and I can't wait to go back again. read more

Bangkok Kitchen - Tom Kah Soup (entree size) and Pad Thai - Thai Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Excellent fare and relatively cheap! We will definitely return for the curries and the noodles. Fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations. Not fancy, just good Thai when you're in the mood for it. read more

We weren't aware they were doing takeout only until we saw the sign in the window as we were walking in. We decided to proceed and eat in the car. But there were two employees inside that looked at us like we were from outer space. There was no greeting and when I asked if we could place a takeout order, the man just said yes and sat there. I asked if we could have a menu and he indicated we could get one ourselves. He acted put out. I asked him if we should just go somewhere else and he said, "If you want." So I said, "Well, this isn't very good customer service." He said, "I can't make you eat here." So we left. read more

We had to order pickup due to the stuff happening in Omaha that night. Service friendly and prompt. Food meh. This is I think about my 8th thai restaurant here and the best review I can give for any is ok. I eaten thai all of my adult life and in at least 20 states. I've had great thai but here in this part of the midwest not so much. My wife always orders pad thai which is like the meatloaf if that country. Meaning that everyone's recipe is different but with the same customary ingredients. So that is our litmus test. Bankock kitchens was dry, dry, didi say dry? Nearly flavorless and just bland. Will never g.j o back read more

Wow. Another reviewer posted a picture of the egg noodle Ramen looking soup and I decided to try it. Oh my was it delicious. Best tasting broth I have ever encountered hands down. I got it to go so I don't know of the dining experience. Long story short I will get this often Holy cow. read more

Bangkok kitchen is one of my favorite places to go and eat. Me and my husband go there so much all I have to do is say "same thing" to them when I order. (Slight addiction?) lol. I love that it is a family owned business! Usually they only have one waiter there so if you are in a hurry or impatient, I would suggest not to go at peak hours. I have NEVER gotten a bad meal here! Also, another one of my favorite things is that they make their own crab rangoons!! It's not that frozen trash you get at most places. As for the restaurant itself, it is very clean and well maintained. read more

My family and I have been eating for 16 plus years but after today that will no longer be. We waited at least 15 minutes to get all of our waters and for someone to finally take our order. The 3 out of 4 of us received our food in a timely manner while my husband wasn't so lucky. I had a couple of bites left of my pad Thai when he finally received his cashew chicken. The owner was very much aware and said or did nothing about it. Just a lack of urgency and customer service is what floors me. The food was just okay, the Pad Thai is different and after our experience today it certainly left a lot to be desired. Truly disheartening. read more

We have come here for 20 years. Love Thai, and have tried all of Omaha's varied restaurants. This is the best --for sure for Pad Thai, in our opinion. We also love that it's family-owned and operated. Can't say enough good things about the kind owners. read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant! Every single dish I have tried (meaning most of the menu and "specials" off-menu) has been excellent! Oy (owner/chef) makes the BEST SOUPS that I have ever tried. I have eaten Thai food in several major cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, Miami, SanDiego, SanFran, etc.) and am always somewhat disappointed-- conclusion? No one makes soups/food like Oy! This family run restaurant always makes me feel that they ARE MY FAMILY; and, every dish is made with LOVE and deliciousness! I've been eating there for 10 (13?) or more years and thank them for beginning my love for Thai food. Thank you Victor and Oy! P.S. I love the recent remodel. P.S.S. If you are a soup lover this is your place! read more

So great. Delicious Thai food. Crab Rangoon the best ever. Tum Yum soup the Best I've had anywhere. Very very good food and service

We were met with a smile by the owner/server. The decor was tasteful, simple, and casual. The menu has classic thai dishes, with some add ons such as wonton soup. You are given the choice of picking your spice from a 1-10 scale which was nice for us as I like spicy and my wife needs mild. You are also able to pick your meat and can choose a combo of meats for 2.50 extra. I appreciated these choices. The food was delicious. The flavors were simple and bold. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Panang Curry, wonton soup, and Drunken Noodles. The papaya salad was good but also lacked some usual ingredients, nuts, and pineapples would have been helpful (only constructive feedback). Drunken noodles were full of flavor and spice! My wife wife's panang curry was appropriately mild, which isn't my thing. Service was great. Owner was polite, fast, and seemed genuinely happy. Check was reasonable, $50 for two entrees, drinks (thai ice teas) and and two appetizer. Next time were going to bring our own beer and wine (BYOB!), which will top off a wonderful evening. read more

Great food. Every time we are in Omaha we make a point of going here. Son-in-law eggs are delicious.

Easily my favorite Thai place in town. Yes, this is better than Salween in my opinion. This small, family run restaurant is never busy and if you happen to order take out it will most likely be ready very quickly. The fried spring rolls are a must try, as they are the freshest and crispiest I've ever had. Give this place a try, their red curry and pad thai are a must try! read more

This was good thai food. I had the basil chicken with spice level 4. I will go 5 or 6 next time. I also wish there was a bit more basil. However, this did cure my fix for thai food. read more

Went in for an early dinner to go. Service was fast and easy! Got the green curry (spice level 5) and mango sticky rice. Both really good! Would come back! read more

So the egg rolls are very good but I can't say much else. The interior is bad in this place the carpet is filthy dirt , the lighting is dark , and it's reeks of uncleanliness. I know this places has been closed before by the health inspector and I don't feel they've made any permanent changes. I can't I'm good conscious return to this place and advise others to stay away as well! read more

When I first walked in I was afraid that the waiter was also the cook and cashier because things seemed a little crazy even though there were only a couple other people in the restaurant. But, things settled down, cooks and other help appeared and I got my Pad Kee Mao with fried tofu forthwith. It was pretty good, but not quite as spicy as I would expect (but I have West Coast tastebuds.) They do spice on a scale of 1 to 10 so if you're used to West Coast 3 stars out of 5 you should probably order 7 or 8 here. The best part about the experience was undoubtedly the bill, which was really inexpensive. I would go back here. read more

Very good. Pad Thai was delish. Our food came out SO fast! Very good service. Small place. I would for sure come back

Wish we would have given this place a shot before now. Everything was wonderful. The crab rangoon were the best I've ever had and the fresh spring rolls were awesome too. We will definitely be back! read more

1st visit. Went based on word of mouth and wasn't disappoint. Very good Thai food that you can specify the level of spiciness. Service was very good and food hot and Delicious. Will definitely go back again in the future read more

Good food, acceptable service. I say acceptable because both our water glasses went empty before he filled them. There was only 4 other people in the restaurant. The food was hot and fresh, but the taste was typical, nothing to write home about. Still, I would go again for a lunch. read more

I've debated back and forth about writing this review because I'm sure the owner is doing the best they can to make good Thai food but I came to the conclusion that a 5 star in Omaha is a 1 star in Seattle. The Phad Thai noodles were spaghetti noodles with very littie chicken and no peanuts to be seen. The Pad See Yew tasted like the Pad Thai, no sauce and very little beef, the noodles were fettuccine noodles. The yellow curry did not come close to tasting like it had coconut milk in it. All around it was really disappointing. Sorry Omaha you need to visit Seattle for good Thai food. read more

We had lunch here yesterday for the first time and it was really good. We had pad Thai and red curry, both with chicken, and they were delish! Both dishes had excellent flavor and we're presented well. The service is good and the food came out quickly. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes off the menu. This was a great find! read more

I highly recommend this place. The food is fantastic. I had their Bangkok Kitchen special. So good! You will not be disappointed.

They were formerly known as Bangkok Cuisine, and my wife has been going there for the past 3 years because it has such nice asian comfort food. The owners are just as nice and generous too! She especially recommends their pad thai, in fact she went 2 years ordering the same thing off the menu until the owners let her try their tofu fried rice because of an order that didn't get picked up, then she started trying the rest of the menu and found new favourites. She is so happy that they reopened. read more
