Had the absolute best time here. The guide Cassie was absolutely AMAZING and ensured everyone was safe and comfortable with their horse. The staff was super great and friendly. The experience was one for the books and left my 9 year olds and me blown away. This was an unforgettable experience. The beach was breath taking and the horses were sooo well trained. Thank you all!! Kudos to you!!

Such an amazing ride! Beautiful views of Bandon beach and the guide was incredible. The horses were so sweet and well behaved. I would highly recommend! Highlight of our Bandon trip!

So we always visit Bandon so my boyfriend can golf. I decided to book a beach ride for myself today. What a wonderful experience! It was just me today but they took me out anyway. I was given good instructions for feeling confident on my horse - it's been a decade since I've ridden! The scenery was beautiful. My guide told me about the area and gave me advice on other things to do. All in all just a wonderful time. Thanks Melanie and Cesar.

We had a memorable experience with our beach ride at Bandon Beach Riding Stables. We came for the 10am ride and the staff was super helpful to get us oriented and comfortable with our horses prior to going out. We had a fairly large group so it took some time to get all riders set up and ready to go. Once we were out on the beach, the horses (which seemed to be well-taken care of) remained very calm and remained together in a group. The views were spectacular and we got some amazing photos. The downfalls - the guides seemed like they were in a rush to get us out, hurrying me when taking pictures saying they'll take our pictures out on the beach. I really wanted pictures of us getting on our horses at the beginning, but that wasn't really able to happen. They also didn't really engage with the customers, and didn't really explain the beach area like I thought they would. We went out on the beach, they took our pictures, and we immediately turned back. Again, I was hoping to get pictures with my horse after, but they rushed me off and pulled the horse away. I get it's an operation, but it was not the best customer-friendly experience.

Funtastic ride on Bandon Beach with my new friend Cruiser (my horse). Surrounded by gorgeous views of the pacific and the famous Facerock. I was here visiting some friends that just moved to Bandon and they decided to join me for a ride on the beach. It was their first time riding and they loved it! Horses looked very well taking care of and crew did a excellent job of taking care of all the riders. Highly recommend Bandon Beach Riding Stables.

What a gem! I am so glad I found this place. It was my first time riding a horse so I was extremely nervous. The staff was so kind, especially Cassie (I seriously love her!). She rode along side of me the whole entire time. You can really tell that the staff here LOVES the horses. I tend to be a little dramatic when faced with unfamiliar situations, so I understand when staff members get annoyed with me. But this was NOT the case here! The extra time and patience they provided me with truly made this an experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I would recommend taking the sunset ride. It was honestly the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen. It does get chilly but wearing a few layers or a windbreaker type of sweater should keep you warm through out the ride. I also appreciated that they had plenty of hand sanitizer for guests to use. Ultimately, I would give this experience a 10/10! Can't wait to be back!

Wow. What an amazing experience we had here. Not only was checking in east but the staff was wonderful. I am a beginner and they were very helpful. I missed her name but our guide on the walk had amazing positive energy and was able to guide our group with ease. The horses were beautiful and although it sounds silly, you can tell they are happy and well taken care of which is the most important in my eyes. If we ever come back to Bandon we are definitely coming here again. My horse name was Texas and he was a big guy that took direction so well and made me feel so comfortable.

Such an amazing experience. Guides know what they are doing and give you the perfect amount of instruction to be confident on your horse. The horses are sweet and well taken care of with their own personalities. No doubt we will be back!

What an amazing group. We did this event for my daughters birthday and couldn't be happier. The horses are well kept and happy. We will do it again. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

Had a great experience! I hadn't been on a horse in over 50 years. Age and arthritis definitely has taken its toll, but the staff and the horse, Missy, were patient and compassionate. They helped me up and down and checked frequently to make sure all was well as I consistently brought up the rear. The view of the ocean was simply spectacular from up high on Missy's back, and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

Lots of fun. Be prepared for windy weather but great views. Very easy for the novice rider. Highly recommend.

Ask the Community - Bandon Beach Riding Stables

Do you let experience riders canter a bit on the beach? How much is the cost for private? I rode all…

It is mostly a walk-Trott ride. It is pretty rare. Sometimes it is high tide and not safe for anyone due to terrain. We typically recommend a private ride for anyone wanting more options. It doesn’t guarantee cantering, we still have to see you on… Read more

September 5, 2025. We've done Jerry's Rogue River jet boat…read moreride a few times now. Normally they don't allow dogs, so that tends to be a limiting factor for us. However, on this particular day, there was a special cruise up the river that allowed dogs. It was actually part of a larger corgi dog event that was happening at the RV park we were staying at. When we found out about it, we signed up. Our little pup loved the boat ride, kinda like a dog who likes to stick his head out the window, ears blowing back, when you're driving down the road. I had a firm grip on her though, and she wasn't going anywhere. You get to see a lot of great wildlife and beautiful wild land scenery.

What an excellent way to end my summer break!…read more One Thursday morning, my partner and I sat in the living room with our coffee and began discussing adventures we could have before returning to school. He suggested Jerry's Rogue Jets in Oregon, recalling how much he enjoyed it as a child. So, we looked up the Wilderness Whitewater Tour and found four tickets available for the next day (Friday) at 11:30. He booked a hotel, and we drove to Oregon that Thursday afternoon. The tour, which departed from the Port of Gold Beach, took us through the scenic Rogue River Canyon. As we rode, the captain shared fascinating stories about the river's history and wildlife. He executed many fun, quick turns and dips that splashed us with water. Luckily, we were sitting in the back, so we didn't get as soaked as those in the front. Our first stop was in Agness, where we switched boats and were entertained by Captain John. We also had to wear safety vests during this second part of the tour. This time, we got thoroughly drenched, but I still enjoyed it. I just wish I had brought an extra set of clothes. Our daughters, who were sitting in the middle, complained that they didn't get wet enough, even though their hair and clothes were soaked. I guess they were hoping to be completely drenched. After returning to Agness, it was time for a meal at Cougar Lane Lodge. It was convenient that food and drinks were included in the price! While alcohol cost extra, we didn't feel like having cocktails or beer. The lunch was surprisingly excellent! The adult meal had a variety of choices, and my partner opted for the BBQ plate, which included ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, along with a muffin, beans, and coleslaw. Delicious! I chose the cheeseburger with fries, which was also tasty. I regretted not selecting the BBQ plate, but I was satisfied with my burger. Fortunately, my partner couldn't finish his meal, so I was able to have a few bites of the tender meat. After our hour-long lunch, we returned to the boat. This time, the captain did fewer quick turns and dips, but it was still enjoyable! He continued to share information about the area, himself, and the animals in the wilderness until we made it back to the Port of Gold Beach. It was an incredible boat ride!
