I ordered the rice bowl topped with tempura shrimp. Very disappointing. Where's the shrimp? Nothing but batter that I peeled away to get to the shrimp. Also, too much mayonnaise, very little slaw, and flavorless yellow rice. Sorry for the downer review especially when a woman (the chef) is doing business. I am a big supporter of women in business. I hope this review helps her step up the flavors of this particular dish. This is my first time trying this food truck and maybe other options are better. Good luck.

Open seating area with a display of some Mexican chips along one wall, a fridge of Mexican sodas and beers by the register and a pretty straightforward menu with some pictures on the left hand side. So far I've had tacos (carne asada, polo asado, and carnitas), mulitas de carne asada, and flautas de pollo. Trying some Gordita's today as well! Everything is fresh, well portioned and the star are their tortillas which do not fall apart, big bonus points for that! You can ask for salsas, which they give in big squeeze bottles. The choices are salsa verde, an avocado salsa verde and a salsa roja. My choice is always the salsa Verde. Their aguas frescas are also delicious. I recommend the horchata. I really haven't gone wrong with anything and will definitely be coming back again and again for my authentic-taco craving!

I love the sopes, they are just like home. I am from Northern, CA, my dad is from Mexico, and I am very particular about my Mexican food, and my truck food. They do not disappoint on any front.
