Everyone at their shop was friendly and knowledgeable and worked with us to get the right materials for the look we wanted and to stay within our budget. They did our bathroom countertops, a laundry room sink top, and also the kitchen cabinet and island countertops. They did such a fantastic job on all countertops, we also hired them to install the tile around our fireplace and kitchen backsplash. I will post another review soon for tile work along with the images of the kitchen countertops when the work is finished. We really liked that the owner worked with us on ideas that gave our kitchen island some contrast to the other kitchen countertops. He also made sure that the supports underneath the slab of the kitchen island was adequate. So on top of great prices, know-how, and excellent work done in a timely manner, we also got some style/design advice. We couldn't be happier with everything they've done. Stellar company, and we hope to work with them again in the future.

Demo- if you are removing old counters & backsplash, be prepared for some slight repairs & touch-ups on cabinets and / or trim. Also, they do not remove your existing faucet, garbage disposal, oven vent etc. Nothing plumbing or electrical. If you add tile on a wall where there previously was none, expect to need longer machine screws to put the outlets back. If they don't notch out the tile for the plate covers they will not be as flush. We found both of these things out the next day while trying to put the outlets back in & covers on. If using your existing sink, the sink clips may not fit with new counter. We had to remove sink & caulk under. I hope this gives some insight for others as we had no clue of the process going in.

I am also a peer in the construction industry, working as an architect, and this past year has been so hectic for contractors, to expect all of them to respond right away is so unrealistic, and does NOT reflect their ability. With that being said, I'm over the moon happy with James's work on my kitchen remodel, I can barely put it into words. When I was looking at buying this house, the kitchen was the one thing that nearly prevented me from putting on offer in. It was gross, the hot water didn't work, water pressure sucked, and the range hood hadn't been vented properly, it just went up into the cabinet. But I had faith that w/ a better design and the right contractor, we could transform the space into something real special. I moved in to my house in the middle of April, and emailed him at the beginning of May for an estimate to demo the old counters/cabinets, install new cabinets, duct my range hood out the roof, and install the sink. He got back to me promptly, and was able to see me and the house the next day. He really listened to what I wanted, unlike some other contractors I had gotten estimates from, and his estimate was incredibly reasonable. He gave me a heads up that he'd be available end of May/first of June, which worked for my schedule fine. James started the week after Memorial Day and seriously wrapped up all of the cabinet demo, new cabinet install, new range hood install AND the associated plumbing/electrical work within 4 DAYS!! I mean, he is literally a construction crew of one, and moves so insanely fast, while still sticking to my design plan and keeping me updated when he found something while he was working. We had to wait to finish the sink install, since the counter company was booked out 3 weeks, but even then, he was able to come back out the very next day to wrap everything up at the sink. Honestly, this space has been transformed and is now so much brighter, more modern, and my new favorite room in the house! Thank you again James, I could not be happier!

This company is pure evil…read more I prepaid $75,000 toward an approximately $85,000 project, and these photos show the condition of the cabinetry on the day I was told in writing that Finished by Korzo had "delivered everything within our scope of work" and had no need to return to my job site. Yet the cabinetry was plainly not complete. I could not install my double oven into the cabinet as it had been left. I could not install my pull-out microwave. My laundry room wall cabinets were installed without top panels, leaving the interiors open to the drywall/ceiling above. These are not minor cosmetic punch-list items. These are cabinet areas that were still unfinished or unusable when the company declared the job complete and demanded the remaining balance. There are many other things I could write about my experience, but I want this review to focus on one simple fact: they declared the cabinetry complete when major cabinet areas were still unfinished and the appliances could not even be installed into the cabinets provided. I also think prospective customers should understand the relationship with Dominis Stone. Dominic works in sales/coordinating for Dominis Stone while also operating Finished by Korzo from inside the Dominis Stone location, where his cabinet displays and office are located. My own Finished by Korzo quote specifically states that countertops are purchased directly through Dominis Stone while Finished by Korzo coordinates the scheduling. That overlap matters when reading the Yelp reviews too. One of the two positive reviews appears to describe work Dominic handled through Dominis Stone, even though the review is posted under his own company. The actual work is done by Dominis Stone staff which are great. I originally went to Dominis Stone because I had used them in the past and trusted their reputation. I did not initially understand that I was dealing with a separate company. Had I researched Finished by Korzo independently before moving forward, I would have made a very different decision. Look at the photos and decide for yourself whether this looks like completed cabinetry. Additional Billing Discrepancy (one of many) Dominic told me the self-leveling material would be charged at $100 per bag. He later confirmed to me in writing: "13 extra out of 75, we poured 62 bags total." Despite confirming that only 62 bags were poured, Korzo's final invoice charged me for 75 bags at $100 each, totaling $7,500. The invoice itself describes the 75 bags as an "estimated" quantity. Invoice_97_from_Finished_by_Korzo.pdf Based on Dominic's own written statement, 62 bags were actually used, which would equal $6,200 at the stated $100-per-bag rate -- a $1,300 difference before tax. His team and his subcontractors are all extremely capable and stuck with us during, and as needed, after the construction (clearing land, constructing driveway, drilling well, pouring foundation, framing, plus all that goes with electricity, plumbing, plaster, septic system, HVAC, painting, tile, windows, and more). Here's a recent example of Jordan's service: A couple months ago my son discovered a water leak from a pipe in his garage -- while he and his family were leaving for the airport to fly out of town! Jordan built their house six years previously. My son immediately called Jordan who said, "Have a good trip; I'll take care of it.", which he promptly did.

He happily worked alongside subcontractors that we had separately hired to do a full house rewire. And his crew was always polite, tidy, efficient, and did great work!
