The floor plank is thicker, has a better rubber underside, thicker laminate so tougher more scratch resistant. Far heavier and denser. And something we didn't expect, it's also far more sound absorbing. We used to have tile and you could hear the footsteps downstairs a LOT more before. This seems to not resonate sound as much, i'm assuming because of the density and rubber pad underneath. I think we are good on laminate floor for likely decades, but we throw a lot of referrals their way, wouldn't recommend anyone else!

I wasted hours trying to get an appointment scheduled for a pressing plumbing problem. After much…read moreback and forth, an appointment was scheduled for a Monday between 8am and 1 pm. On Monday morning, I called to try to get a more precise time estimate. I was transferred for a "short hold" to the dispatch. After being on hold for several minutes, a recording came on telling me to leave a message and they'd call back. After 45 minutes, I got a call. And the lady on the phone told me that "a mistake has been made and we never scheduled this job." But the person I spoke to TWICE to get the appointment did schedule the job. There was no apology. Just dumb confusion on their end. So I blew off work to wait for these people for a job they set an appoint for but did not "schedule." Then they tried to reschedule me for between one and five PM after screwing this up and wasting hours of my time and costing me money in missed work. I have had trouble with them once before on an electrical job that they came back to fix and that turned out OK after several hours. So I gave them another chance. BIG MISTAKE. My advice? Do NOT use them. They come off as super confused and do not seem to appreciate your valuable time. I have to give one star because zero is not an option. It is so frustrating. Their TV ads are a crock. Just find someone else.

I contacted them initially to come fix a fridge at our business. I allowed the tech in, and had to leave. He called to tell me the repair was done. When I came to check the work (the tech was not there at the time), the fridge was not working. So I texted. And called. Texted and called some more. Finally I got the guy back, he got the fridge to start cooling down, and I was told I could reach out with any issues. I paid my invoice, even adding a tip, because he told me he moved his schedule around to (finally) come fix the fridge. It wasn't until we actually got product for the fridge I noticed it wasn't working again. I texted the technician, who said he'd look into his schedule and work out a time... So I sent a follow up text...and call,and texted and called multiple times. None of which were returned. I finally called the dispatch line. They profusely apologized and said a manager would call me back in an hour. That, friends, was a week ago. Today I called and texted multiple times. Aside from an apology there has been no follow up by Summit Logistics or its tech. Read other reviews on this company, my story is nearly identical to several others who placed trust in them to stand by their work. I would NEVER recommend Summit Logistics.

In this case though, I need to warn the public based on my huge loss of funds. Eric came to my home to fix an old freezer I had. At first, he seemed wonderful. Helpful. He talked about how awesome the freezer was and how he would be able to fix it for me, and even install some additional components to make the freezer not get ice build up. He quoted me $466.33 to make the total repairs. He also stated that everything he was doing was GUARANTEED for 180 days. Once the repair was supposedly finished, he told me that the amount due was $515.35. I was upset, but paid in good faith. When I attempted to open the freezer to check his work, he told me not to, and said that the freezer would take 48 hours to "cool down completely". I was a bit worried, but once again, I trusted his word. After 48 hours, I checked the freezer and it was warm. Nothing was working. I contacted "Summit" to let them know and make sure that I could be scheduled for a follow up. All I wanted was the guarantee that he promised me. I contacted this company 8 times in 5 days and spoke to the office staff, but Eric would not return my calls. After trying to contact him 8 times, they blocked my number. I am under the impression that the "receptionist" is Erics spouse or friend, and that they are in this scam together. I can't be certain, but he hid behind her and never returned my consistent calls. Let me also note that never once was I mad or mean over the phone. All I wanted was the freezer fixed, or my money back, as stated in his "Guarantee". I have filed complaints with Google, Facebook, the Better Business Bureau, and with my Credit Union. I am currently disputing the charges. I even had another company come and look at the freezer to verify Erics Shotty work. I will also be taking him to small claims court, if needed.
