DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give zero stars, I would. As you can see from my previous reviews, I rarely give poor ones. In this case though, I need to warn the public based on my huge loss of funds. Eric came to my home to fix an old freezer I had. At first, he seemed wonderful. Helpful. He talked about how awesome the freezer was and how he would be able to fix it for me, and even install some additional components to make the freezer not get ice build up. He quoted me $466.33 to make the total repairs. He also stated that everything he was doing was GUARANTEED for 180 days. Once the repair was supposedly finished, he told me that the amount due was $515.35. I was upset, but paid in good faith. When I attempted to open the freezer to check his work, he told me not to, and said that the freezer would take 48 hours to "cool down completely". I was a bit worried, but once again, I trusted his word. After 48 hours, I checked the freezer and it was warm. Nothing was working. I contacted "Summit" to let them know and make sure that I could be scheduled for a follow up. All I wanted was the guarantee that he promised me. I contacted this company 8 times in 5 days and spoke to the office staff, but Eric would not return my calls. After trying to contact him 8 times, they blocked my number. I am under the impression that the "receptionist" is Erics spouse or friend, and that they are in this scam together. I can't be certain, but he hid behind her and never returned my consistent calls. Let me also note that never once was I mad or mean over the phone. All I wanted was the freezer fixed, or my money back, as stated in his "Guarantee". I have filed complaints with Google, Facebook, the Better Business Bureau, and with my Credit Union. I am currently disputing the charges. I even had another company come and look at the freezer to verify Erics Shotty work. I will also be taking him to small claims court, if needed. read more

I used the service feature from yelp to get someone out to repair a new Bosch refrigerator which kept shutting off because of frayed cord. Summit reached out to me almost immediately getting specifics of the model number of my Bosch refrigerator. Basically, I ended up with same day service, convenient end of day service. The technician, Eric was business like and quick to repair my refrigerator and took all precautions in my home abiding by COVID-19 guidelines. Before presenting the bill he wiped my appliance down with an antiseptic spray to disinfect the area that he worked in. Amazing, quick, accurate, and sanitary! I wish I had read some of the reviews before doing business with this company. I apologize for not posting a review sooner, I did all I could to allow them to make it right. I contacted them initially to come fix a fridge at our business. I allowed the tech in, and had to leave. He called to tell me the repair was done. When I came to check the work (the tech was not there at the time), the fridge was not working. So I texted. And called. Texted and called some more. Finally I got the guy back, he got the fridge to start cooling down, and I was told I could reach out with any issues. I paid my invoice, even adding a tip, because he told me he moved his schedule around to (finally) come fix the fridge. It wasn't until we actually got product for the fridge I noticed it wasn't working again. I texted the technician, who said he'd look into his schedule and work out a time... So I sent a follow up text...and call,and texted and called multiple times. None of which were returned. I finally called the dispatch line. They profusely apologized and said a manager would call me back in an hour. That, friends, was a week ago. Today I called and texted multiple times. Aside from an apology there has been no follow up by Summit Logistics or its tech. Read other reviews on this company, my story is nearly identical to several others who placed trust in them to stand by their work. I would NEVER recommend Summit Logistics. read more

My 10 yr old refrigerator stopped working. No one I was referred to would come work on it. I was informed by 2 appliance techs that my LG-brand frig was a "piece of junk" and that I was lucky to have had 10 flawless years with it. Eric and Summit Logistics answered my inquiry on Yelp and when I texted the symptoms my frig was showing, he replied that it sounded like a common problem he's dealt with before. We made an appointment and he promptly showed up a day later. Eric was very knowledgable and got right into diagnosing the problem. Rather than tell me my appliance was a piece of junk, he worked on it for 2 hours and had come prepared with a part. He fixed my refrigerator/freezer and it's working beautifully! He charged me the price he originally quoted although he ended up doing a few things that I expected to pay extra for- and Eric didn't charge me. read more

I used the find a service feature from Yelp and one of the companies that contacted me within minutes was Summit Logistics. They requested a bit more info that I was able to provide and gave me pricing right away for the most common issue and the other issue they see. We scheduled a time for first thing the next morning and in just over an hour the dryer is back up and running! They guarantee their work for a long time and I feel the cost was extremely reasonable for the work performed. He explained all of what he was doing, because how often do you get to see in a dryer? He also let me know what future maintenance I would be needing. I am impressed and excited they offer so many different services, I plan on calling again for some electrical work I will need done. Eric provides an amazing service and definitely went beyond the extra mile. He was very professional and provided quotes without the expensive service calls that others charge. When he arrived (same day!) he quickly diagnosed our issue that was different than what we originally discussed. Most companies would take advantage of this but Eric did not and was extremely conscientious about our money as well. He even went into our crawl space and found a sewage issue that may have deterred other companies from going down there. Instead, he came fully prepared with a hazmat like suit and fixed our dryer vent line. He also provided us pictures of the sewer issue, which we have a plumber coming to look at. Overall, he was very thorough, did a wonderful job, and provided good honest prices. We are very thankful and happy with the service we were provided. Thank you Eric! read more

Awesome awesome awesome!! Don't listen to the negative reviews. Eric and his company are just fantastic! They were able to come same day to look at my dryer and diagnose the problem. He was extremely efficient, friendly, and professional. Once the problem was diagnosed, he did everything he could to cut down the cost and get us the best deal possible! Eric was also extremely flexible with scheduling and even came after hours for us. The parts came the next day and my dryer was fixed in 2 days!!! Other companies quoted me 2 days to even come and look at it. Eric went above and beyond a normal repairman and even helped me install my washer and druI would highly recommend Eric and his team for any repair job you have!! read more

Do not use this company. He was great to respond at first, he came out when scheduled. Looked at my fridge and charged me $450.00 to fix it, the problem is he didn't fix it. 2 1/2 weeks later it is doing the exact same thing as before, I have called several times and he will not call me back. I finally got a hold of him and he said he was going to come back out and he flaked again, I have not been able to get a hold of him since then. He does not know what he is doing, he will take your money and not do the job right and then leave you hanging. He went on a tangent about Mill creek City stealing his grandma's property and I feel like he has stolen from me since he took my money did not fix the problem and now will not make it right. SUMMARY: Summit has been completely unresponsive and overall it's been a horrible experience. MORE DETAIL: Eric was great when I first called. My freezer and fridge were running hot. He was able to come out the next day and work on it. He replaced the defrost thermostat and the fan. But the temps never came back to normal on the fridge or freezer. I've tried to contact Eric every day, multiple times a day and he won't respond. He has a dispatch answering service - there is no way to reach him directly. I've left about 10 messages with the dispatch service with zero response. I finally had another repair person come look at it. He told me I need to replace the fan -- the same thing Eric said he replaced!! I want to hear Eric's side of the story and get the issue fixed but he won't respond. I'm now at day 10 and my fridge and freezer still don't hold the right temps. I just want a call back!!! read more

DO NOT USE SUMMIT LOGISTICS! I contacted a separate contractor to repair a washing machine and a dish washer. My call was forwarded to Summit Logistics for help on the repair. The operations manager Eric came out to diagnose the issue as a faulty circuit board on the washing machine and that I would need to replace the circuit board and motor assembly. The dish washer also needed a new heating element. We had then scheduled a time for a Wednesday at 06:30PM to make the repairs. Eric did not contact me that he was going to be late, and I called at 07:00PM, 08:00PM and again at 09:00PM to see if they were still going to come. They manage to show up at 09:30PM despite being under 10 minutes away and they only have an old part for the dish washer. We discussed about getting the washing machine replacement canceled due to their lack of professionalism and we agreed to discuss the matter on that Friday. The repair on the dish washer did not work, and the part that they used looked old and used already. I tried to call on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to see if they would come resolve all of my issues. I left numerous messages to the manager's cell and dispatch, and I never heard back from them again. They managed to keep all of my deposit money for the replacement parts and repair only to ghost me. read more
