Quality install of my stage 1,2,3 on my Audi a5 - fast friendly and took care of me after the install

I have been an automotive professional for 35 years. I have never experienced such arrogance and disrespect. Dan ( service manager) was completely rude and unprofessional. Not only did he replace the wrong sensor (The right side of the vehicle is the passenger side, Dan)....He screamed at me for questioning him. I brought vehicle to Inskip....problem solved. I can document everything. (I have all records, receipts and paperwork). My business has never received a negative review....as of 1/1/21. It wouldn't surprise me if Dan now writes a negative review for me... DESCRIPTION OF WORK I brought a customers car to Banchwerks to have an ABS sensor replaced. They replaced drivers side rather than passenger side....Despite fact that they scanned vehicle, and specified passenger's side. (as did Inskip and myself). read more

This is a full service German auto shop. Banchwerks is owned and operated by enthusiasts. All the guys... Jesse, Theo, and Tim are very knowledgeable and nice. I've been here a few times with my Audi and this has become my shop of choice. Theo's always super helpful and informative. Jesse's a great mechanic and he did an excellent job on my suspension and exhaust work. There's always a lot of cool cars in the shop, some are customer cars and some are owned by the guys here. They have a waiting area where you can hang while your cars being done and I've met some cool people while I've been here having my car worked on. This is the spot to take your German car for maintenance or tuning. They're also the only authorized APR dealer in the area. The pricing is really competitive and the work is great. read more

I needed brakes and had headlight malfunction warning light. I didn't hesitate to come back to Banchwerks--(first time was another malfunction warning). Once again I am very happy with the service I received! The detailed receipt was a plus, and the prices were reasonable. The dashboard was polished up when they were done and car computer reset and checked before I drove it home. They took such great care of my Audi! I currently own a 2004 VW Jetta with over 100k miles on it. To say that my car is tired is an understatement. I've tried going to the dealer for repairs (rip off) and I've tried other local repair shops (they use the cheapest product available) so I needed to find a repair shop that specializes in VW/German cars. My bf found Banchwerks online and they had some great reviews so I decided to give them a chance. I am VERY IMPRESSED! I called and spoke to Jesse. I informed him I needed spark plugs, spark plug wires and an oil change. Jesse told me to come right in (even though it's a RI holiday and was supposed to be his day off) and he would do this today! AMAZING!!! Jesse did not disappoint. My car is running as it should (I can't say "like new" it is a Jetta after all). The rates were fair and reasonable and the work was done in under 4 hours. So far my car is running and is safe to drive again. The location of Banchwerks was a little hard to find (look for the blue buildings tucked behind off the main road). The building doesn't look like much but I will take service and better prices/ work any day over the fancy waiting room and cheap coffee at the dealer. Solid work done here, these guys were able to find the vacuum leak on my e46 in a decent amount of time. Had to replace my DISA valve, and the cost of the repair after labor and tax was fair. Will be working with these guys in the future for further repairs and modifications read more

They claim to be a European repair shop but don't work on Mini Coopers. The man on the phone was rude and totally disregarded me and trashed talked my car to me. Hard pass, spend your money elsewhere or maybe just "go to the dealer" like they suggested to me. read more

My car needed some work what I loved about there's service they broke what I needed down into smaller jobs so it was easy for me to commit two smaller jobs rather than just one big job. Very impressed with the guys at Banchwerks. My check engine light kept coming on and despite everything I tried I just couldn't fix it. These guys knew what it was and had it fixed in just a day, and for less than I expected. Professional, friendly and ready to talk about what is going on with your car. Seeking a second opinion on a $2500 "essential to repair" part I brought my 08 A8l in with an up to date service history and a recently rebuilt air suspension compressor. Completing this repair requires an Audi specific software suite and persistence. Colin and Noah managed to complete the necessary 'training' of the Audi to run properly. No extra parts were required - imagine that. Total cost to me? Two hours labor and taxi fare. I saved more than $2k by going to Banchwerks! They'll be getting my oil changes and repairs from here on. Banchwerks is your one stop shop for anything Euro(pean). These guys do great work, honest labor, and unbeatable prices. They've recently relocated and are in an awesome position right outside of downtown providence next to the Public Safety Complex (A.K.A where you wake up when you drink too much and make a scene at a bar). Jesse is a great guy who will tell you exactly how it is and will work with you to figure out what the best pricing option will be for your predicament. I would say that if you're sick and tired of dealing with (expletive) car dealership and (expletive) repair shops that you should try your hand at Banchwerks... or maybe you should just skip those other options and go right there. The best part is that they can fix your $500 beater, or they can tune and upgrade your $33,000 Audi S6 or your $900,000 Porsche. The only thing I didn't really like was the front desk guy. I had the worse experience ever..I even gave the place a second try giving them the benefit of the doubt...both times no response to voicemail. Twice I went by there and first time I was completely ignored and the second time the gentleman, behind the counter was beyond rude, never greeted me and basically made zero attempt at anything remotely resembling customer service? I owe these guys a good review. I'd been having problems with the turbocharger in my '04 VW Golf TDI and brought the car to Banchwerks after a ridiculous estimate from the dealership ($2600 for a whole new turbo when it just needed a part replaced!) and a bad experience with another German car repair shop (consistently not returning my phone calls!). From the get go these guys were reliable, pleasant & consistent - plus, they're clearly pretty into what they do. Jesse was super helpful, took the time to explain to me exactly what the problem was, and even brought out the turbo at one point to show me which part he replaced! I did have to bring the car back twice after the initial repair for fine-tunings to get the turbocharger working again... But they were super prompt & didn't charge me anything for adjustments, even though it took about an hour each time. Overall, a great experience that saved me over $2,000. Highly recommended - I'll definitely be going back to Banchwerks (but hopefully not for a while!). read more

The professionals at Banchwerks really know how to fix a BMW. Took in an extremely poorly running 2006 X3, 173,000 miles, with the pesky check engine light on. It was quickly and properly diagnosed, repaired with quality parts, at a fair price. The X3 now runs smoothly and is quiet! Beware when they are out of their league they are not quick to admit it, but very quick to find things they can do to charge you for. read more
