They have chairs right outside the door where most people congregate. There do have a post with small print requesting mask and no more then 2 people at a time but they don't really follow it. The same way your gluten-free chocolate cake is packaged, just keep a loaf of bread as well. First things first: shoutout to this place for staying open during the coronavirus pandemic. It was the perfect breakfast find when I was in FLL for work. I got the monkey business smoothie and added blueberries and peanut butter protein to it. I love that their proteins are all plant-based. The smoothie was delicious and the little shop is cute. My biggest, and only, complaint was that it is ridiculously expensive. While the smoothie was filling and delicious, I'm not sure it was worth almost $10 that the bill came out to after I added the blueberries and protein powder. Even before that, the smoothie was $7.50 I believe - still quite the price tag when you can make the same thing at home for less than half the price. In short, I would come back here if I pass by it in FLL again but only because of the hefty price tag, I am not sure I would go out of my way to come back here. This is a very clean and nice juice bar. The man helping behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgable in health topics. He offered great suggestions to those who were not sure what to order. I hear they make a wonderful coffee milkshake (frozen cuban coffee cubes blended with coffee ice cream). I stuck with a healthier and lighter option this day and it was very refreshing (strawberry something smoothie). We came for ice cream in the afternoon; it was amazing, which led us to return for dessert later that night. However, we did not check the hours, so we showed up fifteen minutes after they had closed. As we were leaving, the owner happened to pull up on her bike and let us in to get ice cream AFTER THEY HAD CLOSED. Wow, what a find! Nestled among several small shops my gf Lisa and I accidentally happened upon Bambú Juice Bar. Freshest hand squeezed pink grapefruit juice we've tasted in, well, forever! The wide variety of assorted fresh fruits alone looks delicious even before it's prepared as a smoothy. We returned today for the another grapefruit juice along with their recommended cup of Cuban coffee, from a variety of other flavors and a lively conversation with Joyce, an employee. The Juice Bar is meticulously clean, well appointed and a great space to even just hang-out. Joyce, Frank and his wife were super accommodating and friendly and even prepared a small free cup of star fruit to enjoy that had earlier caught our eye. Service and products were so much better only a year ago. Not sure what changed. Pastries are not as fresh and last couple of Cuban coffees weren't too strong. Also on more then one occasion I was told that something either the juicer or the coffee machine weren't working and it definitely seemed as though the reason they were not functioning was more so due to the fact that someone didn't want to have to wash it again and wanted to get out of work at a precise time. Hours are sporadic also. Went in once as they were closing at 7:30 then another time I was told they closed at 8... hopefully things change and they'll get my business again. read more
