I like it pretty well, and it's the only Thai choice in town. Really like the eggrolls and the crispy chicken. Generally a takeout place, though they do have a few tables. It's in the same mini plaza as a little ceaser's so parking can get a little busy.

Have had Bamboo Kitchen a few times but this last time was just ridiculous!! I know that orders get messed & that's fine! I called ahead to let them know the problem & I would be coming back! I am one...that if I have to return food...I want everything I ordered to be remade & fresh! I was told over the phone that this wouldn't be an issue & everything would be fresh! Just before going back into the restaurant...I placed an "X" w/ my finger on the containers so I would know if I got the same food or freshly made food back! Well needless to say...I GOT THE SAME FOOD BACK!" Very disappointing...I really like their food but this ticked me off! Called back again to let them know my issue & told them it would be a very long time if at all if I would be a returning customer!

“The only complaint I have is on the red Thai curry which just wasn't the right texture for me--almost like they were thickened with corn starch or something.”

Second time eating here in a matter of weeks. This time I was by myself, last time with two…read morefriends. Both times I was at the sushi bar. I am a fan of the Royal Flower Dumplings and the Harajuku Roll and the Thai tea. So that's what I ordered on my most recent visit and it was enough food for me and just as good as it was last time. Service was not as attentive this time but it didn't take away from my meal, I was semi answering emails. It was packed again tonight, so it seems to be the trend. I don't mind sitting at the sushi bar since you can't make a reservation for one dinner and I was able to sit right away this time and last time, but it would be worth the wait. I took my time and enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be back every time I visit the city. The papaya salad is amazing, as well. The perfect blend of flavors. Decor is nice in the small space. Looking forward to my next visit! Wish I came here on my other trips to the city. I was missing out on what I'd say is my favorite Milwaukee restaurant!

Great, upscale Thai food! The interior is beautiful, the mural on the back wall is amazing. I love…read morethe chic, modern, and romantic vibes this place offers. Great place for a dimly lit dinner. My brother and I got the chicken pad thai, the short rib, and the royal flower dumplings to start. The flower dumplings were so cool! They were like a sweet/savory dumpling, which I didn't expect, as I'm used to pork dumplings. I really enjoyed the pad thai! It comes wrapped in an omelette - I've never seen that kind of presentation before, so at first I was a bit confused. Super yummy. The short rib was also flavorful and tender, but the flavors just weren't as strong in my opinion as the pad thai. Great service and the wet towel they give to you in the beginning is pretty neat. Would love to come again and try some more! I think it's street parking only pretty much.

Saw Mom's Kitchen pop up while searching for restaurants in Pewaukee, and being someone who LOVES…read moreThai food, the moment I saw Thai with Japanese and Asian fusion influences... count me in! Mom's Kitchen is such a charming and cozy little spot. The restaurant felt open, spacious, and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We came in for an early Wednesday evening dinner and were seated right away. Definitely one of the perks of beating the dinner rush! They have a pretty extensive menu along with a signature menu, so naturally, we had to order enough food to turn the table into our own little buffet. We ordered: - Korean Wings - Crispy, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. - Chive Dumplings - These were interesting! They reminded me more of a soft, doughy Korean style pancake than a traditional dumpling. Not necessarily my favorite dish of the night, and I could have done without it - Salt & Pepper Chicken - THE WINNER! This was easily our favorite dish. Crispy, savory, seasoned perfectly, and something I would absolutely order again. - Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice - It was good! It had a slight curry flavor that I personally liked. My guest was about 50/50 on the curry flavor. The rice was a bit dry and could use a bit more savory taste. - Duck Pad Thai - Probably the lightest dish flavor wise. I personally would have preferred a little more sauce and a stronger marinade on the duck, but that's also personal preference. The duck itself was a nice change from your typical chicken, beef, pork or shrimp Pad Thai. The noodles were also a bit dry. A bit disappointed with this signature dish. One thing I really appreciated was the portion size. They are very generous here, so you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth. We ordered quite the spread and had plenty of food to enjoy and had to take home. Not every dish is going to be everyone's favorite, especially with such a large and diverse menu, but that's actually one of the reasons I'd come back. There are SO MANY other dishes I still want to try! Overall, Mom's Kitchen was a good find in Pewaukee. Between the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, generous portions, and huge selection of dishes, I think it's absolutely worth checking out, especially if you enjoy Thai and Asian fusion cuisine. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in town. The Salt & Pepper Chicken is definitely on my list for a 2nd order . Also, I always order a Thai curry and this time I didn't. So next time it's on my table for sure.

Unfortunately, the dish lacked flavor and I ended up adding soy sauce and hot sauce at home to give it some life. I like a little spice on my Thai food, but not too much and I did not realize that the mild spice level was pretty much a zero spice level so next time I will pick medium. I loved the light cook on the vegetables and how crunchy they were. The staff was very friendly and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. I went there a different time and got their sashimi flight and a salmon avocado hand roll. I moved here from Vegas so I'm very picky about sushi and seafood in general. This has been one of the best sushi places in Wisconsin for me so far! The fish was high quality, extremely fresh and definitely superior to the other sushi places I have tried out here. Even though the drunken noodle I had was lacking, I definitely want to go back and would love to give some of their other Thai items because they look really good. And I will 100% go back for the sushi!!
