Had lunch buffet today. Food was warm and plentiful. Shrimp and chicken dishes had good flavor. I like their brown rice and egg rolls. Price is comparable to other Chinese buffets i go to. read more

My family went here one time and the food overall was decent. The customer service was... more or less. But the worst part was that the drinks did not come with the buffet. If you're in Whitewater and you want Chinese cuisine, the New China Buffet in Milwaukee should be more worthy than this. Minus three stars because the oranges tasted like water and because the drinks did not come with the buffet read more

Don't let the photos fool you. It's not nearly this good anymore. They took out one whole buffet counter and don't use it anymore. They no longer use the made to order counter. The food selection is not great. There is still a ok variety of both American food and Chinese food. But not what it used to be. And of course the price has gone up for less variety and value. They only serve food on plastic plates and offer bottled soda. Seems like Covid really affected them and they haven't gotten out of that mentality. The dining room is very big and the booths are well worn in and somewhat comfortable. But I would just go to a fancier place, it's basically the same price. read more

Was there for dinner in July of 2024. Was about to eat a stuffed mushroom, when I discovered a pubic hair cooked in with the mushroom. I told the waiter, who tried to explain to me that it was the root of the mushroom....The waiter told a female(possibly the boss) and she looked at me hard. She spoke to the waiter in their language. She looked at me hard and I think told the waiter to refund my money... I left and have returned read more

There aren't many reviews for this place, and I don't know why. The food was great, restaurant clean, and staff friendly. It was our first visit. We have kids so we got there around 5:00 on a Saturday and there were maybe two other tables. It was filling up by the time we left around 6:20. Kids under three eat free. The buffet tables were hot and well attended. Even though there weren't many people, everything we tried was hot and fresh (and we sampled close to everything). Some older pics on yelp show sushi but they did not have any tonight. Tons of meat options, stir fries, deep fried options, a couple veggies (button mushrooms were ). Some fresh fruit and desserts. Great value and will definitely be back. read more

Beijing Buffet - It's hard to find prices/menu online so here our bill. - Chinese Near Me - Whitewater, Wisconsin

Plastic utensils, styrofoam bowls and plates.....ask for water & get a bottle from WalMart with a charge of 69¢. Waiter as stone faced as a statue. Wanders around hoping diners leave after on turn at the limited buffet. Limited salad material, desserts marginal. Better offering across the street or at Japanese restaurant downtown. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Horrible food, left us with stomach aces. Raw chicken, unsalted rice and wasn't even hot. Very very bland, cold and quite frankly gross food. How this place is open is beyond me. Also, charge you water?? I thought this was America. $14.50 per person for this food? What a ripoff. read more

Don't go here after 8 PM unless you like an empty buffet. Even on a Friday night. This has happened more than once. They also serve with plastic utensils and Styrofoam plates. I mean come on. read more

I really wanted to love this place... after all they had sushi on the buffet and while not the best sushi I've had it was good and lots of it. The rest of the food was good with the exception of a piece of beef on the pepper steak that was very undercooked. I still ended up eating three plates of food and left full. Dinner buffet cost $10.95 They seem to be trying to have a ton of options on the menu. There's a fried food buffet line with egg rolls, crab rangoons, and waffle fries, a typical Chinese buffet line, a fresh line with fruits, salads and the sushi, and then a Mongolian buffet line (which I did not try). The staff was attentive, the spots that needed to be clean (plates, tables, buffet line, bathroom etc.) were clean. The place needs some touch up though. A coat of paint and replacing water damaged ceiling tiles would help. Many of the signs were hand written and taped up. Boxes of supplies were in various places around the edge of the dining room. read more

Soggy food. Not awful but wouldn't recommend for a good Chinese place. Something quick and easy but not worth the price. read more

Beijing Buffet - a plate of chinese food with a fork - Chinese Near Me - Whitewater, Wisconsin

Limited selection, food often sitting around for enough time to look stale and everything tastes the same. Disappointing

Plastic silverware, styrofoam plates, bottled beverages. Waitress never checked up on us. The food was okay, when I arrived majority of everything was already gone and after I ate what felt like appetizers and became full they decided to refill the food bar. Ambiance was okay, a bit dark for my liking. Overall I'd give 3/10. read more

This is the most disgusting food I've ever had. Everything is dripping with grease, mushy everything, styrofoam plates, filthy Floors and tables. The health inspector needs to pay this dump a visit. I only gave 1 star because leaving it blank or negative isn't an option.!! It needs to be shut down read more

I drove to Whitewater just to try this buffet, and I was not disappointed. Located in a college type town, this restaurant has friendly and fast staff. They were bringing out fresh food options all the time I was there. There was limited food options in some sections, and it is a bit smaller than some larger buffets. But the food was pretty good for a Chinese buffet. It was a good place to stop by and get filled up! The chicken options there was fantastic. read more

I would like to say that food has decreased in quality. Not worth the price. Almost like they reheat the food left over from the previous day. read more

This Chinese place is one of two places to get Chinese food in Whitewater. It is family owned, and they are super friendly! They always make sure their customers are happy and well fed. There's more than enough seating, and the food stations are always full with hot and delicious food. My favorites are the peanut butter chicken and the general tsos chicken here, but you really can't go wrong with anything in the trays. It was only about $9 for lunch and $11 for dinner, and for a good buffet you can't beat that! read more

Pretty good. China house has better quality food, but you can be an all out glutton here. Pepper steak, clams, wontons, chicken teriyaki are all solid choices. They have sushi sometimes too, but the quality and availability varies greatly. read more

I went here for dinner recently. The experience was just alright. It is a typical Chinese Buffet. The food was hot, and fresh. The General Tso chicken was good, but not nearly as spicy as most Chinese places make it. The black pepper chicken was also nice. I recommend this place for groups, but you should go around regular dinner hours so the food is warm and new. read more

LOVE this place. Food is always fresh and tasty. We often get it to-go. My favorites are the coconut shrimp, crab rangoon, & teriyaki chicken. They have a nice sushi selection also. Staff are friendly. read more

This place has grown on me. Delicious food and a fresh selection every time I've been in. Staff is very nice and checks in frequently. General tso's and the sugar donuts are my favorite and my boyfriend loves the cheesy potato bites. I've also heard the shrimp is great. Sushi isn't bad for a buffet. Very affordable all you can eat at $10 for dinner and cheaper for lunch. I'm here once a week! read more

I mean, really - it's a Chinese buffet. It's not going to be a 5 star dining experience no matter how you slice it. This is a solid place though. Clean, large amount of items, fresh, hot, tasty. They have a delightful coconut shrimp dish, their dumplings are good and their honey chicken is delicious. Well priced. I haven't been to others in the area so I'm not going to say it's the best there is around here - but it's a strong possibility! We had an enjoyable time here and would most definitely come back. read more

Mediocre food at best but place is cleanly and the staff are nice. One of the most better Chinese restaurants I've been to in my life. Would recommend for Chinese buffet lovers! read more

This is a regular spot for us. The staff is friendly, Mrs always asks how we are and remembers what we like to drink. Food is great and the Mongolian Grill is excellent. One of the few places where you can eat a low carb diet at a buffet! I only wish they delivered because when I am sick and don't want to get out, I crave their Hot Sour soup. read more

Beijing Buffet is fairly priced and have a decent selection. The customer service is also good. However, if you are a healthy eater this is not the place for you as everything is greasy including the veggie options. read more

1st time to eat there today and we will be back! Food and service are way above the rest of Chinese buffet's that we have dined at in the area over the year's. Very nice food selection and quality of choice's to eat. The Staff are very friendly and pleasant. read more

Love this place! We eat here once a week and it never gets old! Best Chinese buffet around

Great food and a good selection, staff is always great too! Like the selection from the sushi/dessert/salad bar to the asian and american bars. Still have yet to try the build your own bar but always get filled up. read more

ok, maybe 4 stars is a bit generous. the selection is slightly below average compared to many other buffets i have been to. some things are not replenished very quickly when they run out; my first visit there for lunch, the hot and sour soup was empty shortly after i got there. i had to ask them if they were going to refill it, and eventually they did, right before i left. that only happened once though. also, i have seen the sushi run out and no new stuff brought out while i was there. but that's really the extent of my complaints. the selection is fine, just not as much as some other places offer, and the quality of everything is better than most other places, in my opinion. the pork and beef have always been cooked just right and are tender and flavorful, not tough and chewy like i've had at other places. the hot and sour soup is one of my favorites from any chinese restaurant.and the other thing i appreciate about this place is the consistency. i have never had bad food here, the service has never been bad, except for the one time when they didn't get more soup out very quickly. even at buffets that i like, there are always some times when i walk out of there disappointed with something, the food wasn't warm enough, didn't taste as good as previous visits, etc. but not here! so far, i have never been "blown away" by this place, but have always enjoyed it. read more
