I actually never saw that many seagulls in the city side. Parking is at Ralphs though I'm unsure if you could park there or not. There is a sign for parking for Ralphs only and several parkings are for teachers. Service and food are amazing though. The restaurant is very clean. The bathroom sink has the most narrow faucet ever. The faucet is 1 in above the sink so I don't know how people wash their hands. These are what we ordered 1 Plantain + Crab $20.00 - 3/5. I fried plantain is good with the little bit of crabs on the side. Dish is creative but overall not extraordinary. 1 Root Beer Braised Short Rib - $44.00 5/5 this is the most delicious and my favorite dish. The mashed potato is so creamy and beef is so soft. It is the most creamy and buttery mashed potato I've ever had. 1 Jollof Platter $28.00 + Berbere Shrimp $12.00 - 4/5. The spicy rice dish has enough moisture and dryness. The shrimp was grilled in creme sauce. 1 Garlic Noodle $22.00 2/5. It tastes like soy sauce noodles because I couldn't really taste the garlic part of it. 1 Plantain Sticky Cake $15.00 5/5 toffee pudding style and is amazing. Moist and creamy. Overall I would definitely come back. Service is outstanding and water is filled with bottle and we could constantly refill it.

I ordered via Door Dash a couple of weeks ago -- got the Pepper Soup with goat and pounded yam, and…read moreRice combo with Fish. First, the food arrived hot and well-wrapped so that's a plus. The Pepper soup was absolutely delicious-- so flavorful, spicy and the goat was tender. And it was a nice portion. The pounded yam was nice--it was like a mashed potato ball, smooth and the perfect neutral canvas for the soup. Next, the Jollof rice with the fish--very tasty, and a generous serving of rice that lasted me up to 3 days and by day 3 the rice was even better (I made chicken to go with it). I truly enjoyed my meal and rated it "I love it!" The funny thing is, I apparently ordered from them a year or so before and didn't have a good food experience so I didn't rate them well--I completely forgot and only realized it when my old bad DD review popped up after I posted my new good one . But everyone deserves another chance and they hit it out the park with that meal. So much so that I ordered from them again the following week and tried the Fufu combo with the mixed meat (cow leg, beef and tripe--I had always seen tripe but never had it) Egusi and the Eba. It was well prepared but the flavor was interesting to me--there were notes of bitterness (from the bitter leaf I presume or maybe the melon seeds?) and the Eba was a bit sour, like Ethiopian injera but stronger in my opinion. I really wanted to like it -- I even tried adding salt -- but I think maybe it's an acquired taste for my personal palate. The beef was a bit tough and the what I think was the cow leg skin was thick, tough and chewy. I've had Jamaican cow foot soup before and the skin was tender so not sure if it's just a different kind of cooking or what ‍. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't my cup of tea but maybe for someone else it's perfect. I'm only sharing my experience for someone who may have never had it and like me was curious, so this is my opinion on it (after all, Yelp is all about the word of mouth). But nothing ventured, nothing gained. Still, I want to try the other items and will always come back to that pepper soup and rice combo! UPDATE on 3/2/26 -- After my review I then got a taste for jollof again. So Yesterday I ordered the Edikanikong too and it was truly delicious!!! So flavorful and fresh! These are some of the best greens I've had! And that's it. Honestly because I ordered from DD so much I mostly do my reviews now there vs here on Yelp, but I felt compelled to share my experience on this spot on this platform too. FYI - I deleted my food photos that I uploaded to DD so I have none to share here.

"I have been a loyal customer for 5 months ordering consistently. Today I spent $75.29 on an order…read moreand waited 4HOURS delivery. When I called I was treated very rudely, hung up on, and my number was busy. I was told I had to physically come pick up a cash refund -- I do not have a car. However I will say the OWNER personally reached out, apologized sincerely, acknowledged my loyalty as a customer and assured me everything would be taken care of. That meant a lot and shows he does care about his customers. The owner gets 5 stars. The customer service staff and delivery experience gets 1 star. I hope this is a turning point because the food has potential and the owner clearly takes pride in his restaurant. Will update my review based on how things are handled going forward."

You have to try the Egusi stew with chicken! Egusi Stew is made up of diced spinach and pumpkin & It's so good that even if you don't eat meat you can have it without and it still tastes bomb! Next dish is not a full meal but it's their Kelewele (Nuts and spicy seasoned plantain) Delicious! Airport Royal Cuisine was my introduction to Ghanaian cuisine, and it was a solid one! My friends…read moreand I ordered some typical dishes, including jollof rice with goat, fufu with light soup, and red red (fried plantains and beans). It took a while to get our food, but as the dishes were cooked to order, we didn't mind. The verdict: -- Jollof rice with goat: the goat was decently tender and the jollof rice was nice and chewy, with a spicy kick to it! The more you eat it, the more the heat builds. -- Fufu with light soup: it was my first time trying fufu, and I liked it! Sort of reminded me of a "chewier" mashed potato, and it was a great vessel to dip into the light soup. The light soup was flavorful, but SPICY; it was definitely not light! Chicken inside was tasty and fall-off-the-bone tender. -- Red red: the least-spiciest dish of the trio, and while I enjoyed the crispy, fried, and sweet plantains, the beans were okay, but it wasn't to my taste. Not bad, but not my favorite. Overall, a nice taste of Ghanaian food at Airport Royal Cuisine. Service was nice and courteous. Ghanaian cuisine is certainly flavorful, but beware the spice!!
