We were given to recommendations by our B&B host nearby to try eating here. The first recommendation was right next door and was closed for two or three days, so we went to this one to begin experiencing Spanish cuisine. It was extremely quiet, and even though we realize that we are tourists and going early for a meal, by the time we left after 1020 PM there were still very few people. We walked by the next day at around 11 o'clock and it was still very quiet. This is a white linen and upscale appearing restaurant. The staff is pleasant, but in retrospect after having spent three weeks in Spain and having experience with other restaurants, fairly plain in terms of food quality. We had sangria which was pleasant. I decided I needed to try paella, but after having what seemed to be a somewhat dry and crusty product without a lot of flavor I must admit I did not try any more during our three weeks in Spain as there appeared to be better options. Perhaps if it had been better I would have taken the chance and tried this dish somewhere else. Like most restaurants in Spain, they charge for bread and you really don't get much of an option. They just put it on your table and charge you. Since it only has €1.1 per person to bill it's not worth arguing about. considering the food quality, this is what I would consider an expensive restaurant for Spain. We paid €61 for two and did not have any dessert. It was our most expensive meal for the entire trip. read more
