Amazing team that is usually quite good and cares about its fans, unlike the Commanders and others like the Rams trashing St. Louis where I am from. M&T is amazing too with so many great food and drink options and unbeatable views even from the nosebleeds which felt like an abyss in heaven the day went despite them beating the Seahawks big.

The Baltimore Ravens are a great example of a "new" NFL team that has been successful. Only four teams have been added to the league since the 1976 expansion that added the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers: the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995, the Ravens in 1996, and the Houston Texans in 2002. Of those four teams, the Ravens have been, by far, the most successful. Here are a few reasons why: 1. The Ravens have won two Super Bowl championships: Super Bowl XXXV in 2001 (2000 season) and Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 (2012 season). The Panthers are 0-2 in the Super Bowl and the Jaguars and Texans have zero Super Bowl appearances combined. 2. In 26 seasons, the Ravens have made the playoffs 13 times (.500). The Panthers, Jaguars, and Texans each have yet to crack 10. 3. Through the 2022 Super Bowl (LVI), the Ravens have the fourth-best record among the NFL's 32 teams, regular season and playoffs combined. The Panthers (23rd), Texans (29th), and Jaguars (31st) all rank in the bottom third. The Ravens franchise is one of consistency and stability. One of the best indicators of this is the number of head coaches the Ravens have had in the entirety of their existence: three. They are Ted Marchibroda (1996-1998), Brian Billick (1999-2007), and current coach John Harbaugh (2008-present). In a league known for its coaching carousel, the Ravens are an organization that sticks by their coaches for relatively long periods of time. I think it's commendable and how can you blame them? Both Billick and Harbaugh both led Baltimore to Super Bowl titles. Super Bowl XXXV wasn't much of a contest. The Wild Card Ravens were only favored by 3, but ended up pummeling the New York Giants, 34-7. Played in January 2001, that 27-point margin of victory remains one of the biggest in Super Bowl history. Legendary linebacker and Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Ray Lewis was named Super Bowl MVP. He was also named NFL Defensive Player of the Year that season (2000) in addition to the 2003 season, a few years later. Lewis was also on the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XLVII. That season (2012) was his 17th season. He spent his entire career with Baltimore. His final game was another Wild Card Ravens Super Bowl win. The 2012 Ravens only went 10-6 in the regular season and were 4-point dogs against the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners were coached by Jim Harbaugh, John Harbaugh's brother. The Ravens again put up 34 points, but against San Francisco's 31. The Ravens led 28-23 entering the 4th quarter. Niners QB Colin Kaepernick brought San Francisco to within two points, 31-29. With 2:39 left in the game and the Ravens leading 34-29, the Niners were 1st & Goal with four chances to take the lead. The Ravens had a successful goal line stand, effectively sealing Baltimore's second Super Bowl championship: https://youtu.be/RFBax7ItE30?t=8126. The 2022 season will be John Harbaugh's 15th as Baltimore's head coach. Now 59, he's spent his entire NFL head coaching career with the Ravens. So far, he's led the team to nine playoff appearances in 14 seasons (.643). Through the 2021 season, Harbaugh has a good record: 137-88 (.609) in the regular season and 11-8 (.579) in the postseason. After leading Baltimore to a 14-2 record in 2019, he was named NFL Coach of the Year. Somewhat surprisingly, it was only his first COY award after 12 mostly successful years at the helm. Harbaugh has coached different eras and generations of players. Case in point, two-time ACC Player of the Year (2016, 2017), 2016 Heisman Trophy winner, and 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson replaced 11-year starter, veteran, and 2013 Super Bowl (XLVII) MVP Joe Flacco. Both Jackson and Flacco were drafted in the first round by the Ravens. Jackson was taken with the 32nd pick in the 2018 draft and Flacco was taken with the 18th pick, 10 years earlier, in the 2008 draft.

    Baltimore screwing me...

Dear Baltimore, I needed Lamar Jackson to throw 30 more yards to win my bet. You fucked me when you let him go in the 3rd. 30 yards to finish a 5 leg parlay. Fuck you Baltimore. You're a second rate Annapolis.

One of my favorite things about the Ravens is what they do for the residents in and around Baltimore. The players are out and about in the community throughout the year. I work for one of the organizations the Ravens donate time and money to. It starts from the top down. The owner, GM, Coach, along with Players are Philanthropic. Even former players, come back to Baltimore to give. I had the pleasure recently to participate in Ravens Walk with the Community Showcase. My work team and I had a blast interacting with the fans! Ravens and visiting. So much fun! Ravens PR were extremely helpful. Also, who doesn't enjoy attending the games! I've had season tickets for many, many years and never had a bad experience. Go Ravens!

11/26/19 My team since 2012. I was never into American Football until playoffs of 2012.  I never thought about acquiring a football jersey until my former employers teamed up with The NFL. When this happened, a lot of things changed. Marriott Courtyard became the proud sponsor of where a lot of NFL Players stay. Because of this, employees of Marriott were given the privilege of wearing your favorite team jerseys on any NFL Game days.   This means on rare occasions,  you could wear a jersey on Saturday.   I did not join in on this game jersey thing until two years later.  I was thinking more and more about getting a jersey but wasn't sure what team I wanted. As time passed, I narrowed it down to the following two teams. Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos.  I wasn't sure who I wanted, until I happened to be walking through J.C Penny's and saw clearance Baltimore Ravens jerseys.   At the time the numbers I saw were 55 (Terrell Suggs), 52 (Ray Lewis) 81 (Anquan Boldin) 5 (Joe Flacco) and 27 (Ray Rice). None of these names meant a damn thing to me when I originally bought a jersey. The only number I saw out of the group was number 27 Ray Rice. I later on got to see the man in action. However, after the superbowl, something wicked this way comes. Ray Rice and his girlfriend at the time got into an argument  that got out of hand.  When the smoke cleared, all jerseys of rice were recalled and people could trade in their jerseys for a new jersey. I ended up doing that for a Terrell Suggs jersey when the new Nike jerseys came out. (Just so you know, the first and maybe second jerseys that came out by Nike were stitched. Not laminated...no... grafted on) I; however,  was never truly into Terrell Suggs. As I continued watching The Baltimore Ravens, I saw one gentleman kicking the ball and saving The Baltimore Ravens asses. The man who is partially responsible for writing my first novel is named Justin Tucker. I now wear his number proudly and it is the only jersey of The Baltimore Ravens I wear.   The most important thing about wearing the jersey at Marriott for me, is the attention it got from guests. I found it was a great way for guest to start a conversation before it may trickle down to a question about the hotel.  Many guests might not have known my name, but they remembered my jersey.  After I started wearing my Justin Tucker Jersey, more of my colleagues started wearing jerseys. I have been watching Baltimore Ravens games and felt very excited when my team won. I felt let down when my team lost.  Many times when I saw Joe Flacco's emotionless face when our team lost, it came off as "I Don't Give A Damn." I did not like that.  Still, this year as I watch our time play, I see a new kind of fun and fierceness that I did not see in the Joe Flacco era. I first saw the difference when Lamar Jackson played last year. He lit a fire under other Baltimore Ravens players asses and hyped up the team to a winning games Teams I am 99% percent sure we would have lost to if Joe Flacco had been playing.  I find myself watching late night Ravens games even if I have to work early in the morning.  I am obviously not the only one doing this. Nevertheless,  I enjoy watching my team win game after game and seeing how they do it. The feeling is great. Hard to believe I hated football for so many years. I enjoy wearing Baltimore Ravens Merchandise.  Eventually i will aquire two Baltimore Ravens vests made out of cotton/polyester.  I like the heather grey and the tan one. I forgot the name they call it. Lamar said "Your're going to get a Superbowl outta me." Sometime after he was drafted to The Baltimore Ravens.  We will see if this is true.

Whether it's a packed game or a more laid back crowd, it's just a good place to watch baseball. If you're there for a Baltimore Orioles game, the energy really comes through. One of the best parts is how easy it is to move around. You can walk the stadium, check out different views, grab food, and not feel stuck in one spot. Food options are strong too. You've got the classic ballpark stuff, but also some local options that make it a little more interesting. The views are great from a lot of different spots, whether you're close to the field or higher up. There really isn't a bad place to sit. I've been coming here for years, and honestly it might be the only professional team in Baltimore I'll pay to see (Go Steelers!), but this park always delivers no matter what. Getting in and out is pretty smooth, especially if you plan ahead a little. Overall, it's a top tier ballpark. Great atmosphere, great design, and just an all around good time every time you go. Definitely a must if you're in Baltimore or a baseball fan.

I watched them win both Super Bowls they appeared in and I have been going to games all my life. I was also a Little Ravens cheerleader back when they did that program, and on top of that I was a game day ambassador for Ravens for one season when I was in college. I bleed the Ravens purple and black! I'm no stranger to M&T Bank Stadium and since I already did a review of Camden Yards I had to do a review for The Bank! There truly isn't a bad seat in the house even before I became a season ticket holder I would sit in the upper level and nosebleeds and felt like I still got a great view of the action. M&T Bank is its own character when the Ravens play and the franchise knows how to get fans engaged regardless of where they sit. There's plenty of food options and places to grab merch from the Ravens store. So what's stopping me from giving M&T Bank Stadium a 5/5? Though the food prices can be a bit expensive especially compared to the O's which launched a Birdland Value menu a few seasons ago. I've also had issues with the vendors selling basic stadium food like hot dogs because my food is always cold! I sit in the lower level and there's a food vendor around every corner even on the upper level but for some reason my food is always cold when I'm getting basic stuff like chicken tenders or a hot dog. It's disheartening especially when it's expensive! Yet despite that it doesn't change how much I love my Ravens or the vibe of the stadium. It's frequently being renovated which keeps the stadium feeling contemporary in the modern age. M&T Bank Stadium is a great venue and if you're a Ravens fan you'll be in for a real treat on game day.

I'm confused and blown too. My husband played lacrosse in high school and loved it. He had always played football and was a football jock (ugh, I know, I hate them too...fortunately, he's lovable enough to overcome this unfortunate flaw), but when his best friend in HS introduced him to lacrosse, he found what really made him happy. So one day, we're out, and having dinner when the bartender turns the TV to a lacrosse game. My husband immediately is rivited and starts explaining why I should be utterly fascinated by this. As he's talking, the guy sitting next to him, starts telling him about the Annapolis team...and how we're actually pretty good. WHAT WHAT? We have a *league*?!? So, clearly, tickets were immediately purchased and the next thing I know, I'm sitting on the first row, at the 50 yard line, watching incredibly adorably hot guys run past. Right. Best part about lacrosse: uber hot guys. Second best part about lacrosse: uber cheap tickets. We were sitting at the 50 yard line, front row...and tickets were something like $25 each. Third best part about lacrosse? Sitting 10 feet away, staring at uber hot guys. Seriously, why didn't anyone ever tell me about this???!!!??? Arguably, my new favorite sport in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD now. Um...I think we won. I really wasn't paying attention. But my husband had a blast, I had a surprisingly good time, and, again...uber hot guys. Right.

Concession lines were long as expected, but they moved fairly quickly this time. It was also nice to see more access to ice cream stands on both sides. The biggest disappointment was the kids' zone. They've changed it to an $8 wristband system, but the activities were very limited and repetitive -- mostly variations of throwing a ball into something. There was minimal staff, and it felt unorganized with kids not really taking turns. For younger kids especially, it wasn't worth it. On the way out, there was a foam/bubble area that the kids enjoyed, but it was pretty messy and not well-managed, especially considering the cooler weather. That said, staff were friendly, and my daughter still had a good time overall. And the baseball game was exciting. I'd come back for another game, but would definitely skip the kids' zone next time.
