Aaron Judge back July 28th, 2023!

At one time, I had season tickets to the Baltimore Orioles when they moved into Camden Yards 1997. In fact, that year I enjoyed my first MLB Allstar Game. The Baltimore Orioles were also known as the O's, and for some they called them the "Birds". The Club I believe was originally spent its first year as a major league club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as the Milwaukee Brewers before moving to St. Louis, Missouri, to become the St. Louis Browns in 1902. After fifty-two years in St. Louis, the franchise was purchased in November 1953 by a collective group of Baltimore business and civic interests led by Clarence Miles and Mayor Thomas D'Alesandro Jr. Today, the team's current owner is American trial lawyer Peter Angelos. After several years of having first-round draft picks, the Orioles have assembled a competitive team that is presently leading their division. It was exciting to be back in the Ball Park after a long absent stretch. The energy in the stadium and the surrounding Pubs is energetic with all ages of baseball fans. Hopefully for the Baltimore fans, they can enjoy the excitement of their team back in the MLB playoffs this year.

I liked watching baseball games. So professional MLB players were playing for 5 hours. However, I disliked it was taking long time

Despite being ranked in the bottom third of MLB in terms of wins and losses (at the time of writing this review), the Baltimore Orioles have actually won three World Series titles. Those came in 1966, 1970, and 1983. Really, it wasn't until the late 90s that the Os entered a long stretch of mostly losing seasons. The team had 14 straight losing seasons from 1998 to 2011 and they set dubious records in recent years such as 2018, for most losses in team history, and 2019, setting the single-season league record for most home runs allowed. The Os are named after the state bird of Maryland, but they actually started out as the Milwaukee Brewers in 1901 (not the same Brewers we know today) and soon after became the St. Louis Browns. It wasn't until 1954 that the team moved to Baltimore and became known as the Orioles. Some of the Os' best players (and all Hall of Famers) played for the team decades ago. They include Brooks Robinson (1955-1977), Frank Robinson (1966-1971), "Steady Eddie" Murray (1977-1988), Jim Palmer (1965-1967, 1969-1984), and "The Iron Man" Cal Ripkin Jr. (1981-2001). I, along with most sports fans today, associate Cal Ripkin Jr. with the Orioles. He holds the record for most consecutive games played at 2,632 games, starting May 30, 1982 and ending September 19, 1998. Incredible. The Os' last World Series appearance was that 1983 championship. They did make the playoffs three times in the 2010s (2012, 2014, 2016), making it as far as the ALCS in 2014, but they got swept by the Kansas City Royals, 4-0. Three-time AL Manager of the Year, including in 2014, Buck Showalter, managed the Os during that relatively successful stretch (2010-2018). Baltimore has been rebuilding since under current GM Mike Elias who also serves as the team's Executive Vice President. It will be interesting to see where the Orioles go under Elias' direction.

The Baltimore OREOs are sponsored by cookies. Not just any cookies... Pepperidge Farm! Just kidding. Their excellent field is fantastic, but the team is less fantastic. Yes I find baseball boring, but I do think what Boston has achieved in the last 20 years is amazing and commendable. Baltimore needs the same type of owners in order to achieve anything significant, to give the loyal fans the kind of seasons they deserve and the kind of Play Off baseball that this amazing arena deserves. I also think the mega rich Orioles should do more to help the extreme poverty less than a mile from this palace of a stadium, to the North West. That goes for the Ravens too.

My second O's game and I still had a good time. August, though. Wow. Hot and humid and very sweaty. The ten minutes of rain that fell in the bottom of the first inning didn't help. But we're rating the Orioles today. And honestly, they played poorly getting beaten 5-3 by the Boston Red Sox. Lots of players left on base. No errors (the Sox made one). They were just outplayed. I'd have to guess that more than a third of the park was Sox fans tonight. And certainly, they were louder than the O's fans.

Although I am a dedicated Yankees fan, I just love a good baseball game especially in beautiful Camden yards. The O's territory is just stunning and it doesn't matter where you sit in the stadium you will have a nice view of the field. Lots of food, drinks, awesome O's fan, and nice environment to enjoy the game.

I'm a Yankees fan - always have been, always will be (though we'll disregard how awful they've been so far this year). That said, I'm also a bit of a ballpark chaser, so I make it a point to visit stadiums whenever possible. Seeing the Orioles play at Camden Yards has always been one of my favorite experiences, and I've been fortunate enough to sit in different parts of the stadium for games. There's no bad view, honestly. I've also recently had the good fortune of having seats on the Club Level, which is pretty fantastic. There's a Boog's Barbeque on the Club Level (which is great, because the line for the one on Eutaw Street was really long from basically the time the gates opened), as well as a variety of other concessions and lounges. Seeing so much of the memorabilia from Orioles history is also pretty great. And yes, it's hard to beat the view from those seats. TL;DR Love Camden Yards and watching the Orioles play. Yes, I will totally be back. :)

I'm a sucka for the yard. I grew up going to games and Camden yards is so nostalgic for me. Its pretty easy to get tickets at a good price and great way to celebrate the summer. Tonight I was able to see the O's in the playoffs in the fall although we didn't win it was incredible night! The fans made that stadium echo. Clean awesome stadium!

Whether it's a packed game or a more laid back crowd, it's just a good place to watch baseball. If you're there for a Baltimore Orioles game, the energy really comes through. One of the best parts is how easy it is to move around. You can walk the stadium, check out different views, grab food, and not feel stuck in one spot. Food options are strong too. You've got the classic ballpark stuff, but also some local options that make it a little more interesting. The views are great from a lot of different spots, whether you're close to the field or higher up. There really isn't a bad place to sit. I've been coming here for years, and honestly it might be the only professional team in Baltimore I'll pay to see (Go Steelers!), but this park always delivers no matter what. Getting in and out is pretty smooth, especially if you plan ahead a little. Overall, it's a top tier ballpark. Great atmosphere, great design, and just an all around good time every time you go. Definitely a must if you're in Baltimore or a baseball fan.

I watched them win both Super Bowls they appeared in and I have been going to games all my life. I was also a Little Ravens cheerleader back when they did that program, and on top of that I was a game day ambassador for Ravens for one season when I was in college. I bleed the Ravens purple and black! I'm no stranger to M&T Bank Stadium and since I already did a review of Camden Yards I had to do a review for The Bank! There truly isn't a bad seat in the house even before I became a season ticket holder I would sit in the upper level and nosebleeds and felt like I still got a great view of the action. M&T Bank is its own character when the Ravens play and the franchise knows how to get fans engaged regardless of where they sit. There's plenty of food options and places to grab merch from the Ravens store. So what's stopping me from giving M&T Bank Stadium a 5/5? Though the food prices can be a bit expensive especially compared to the O's which launched a Birdland Value menu a few seasons ago. I've also had issues with the vendors selling basic stadium food like hot dogs because my food is always cold! I sit in the lower level and there's a food vendor around every corner even on the upper level but for some reason my food is always cold when I'm getting basic stuff like chicken tenders or a hot dog. It's disheartening especially when it's expensive! Yet despite that it doesn't change how much I love my Ravens or the vibe of the stadium. It's frequently being renovated which keeps the stadium feeling contemporary in the modern age. M&T Bank Stadium is a great venue and if you're a Ravens fan you'll be in for a real treat on game day.

I'm confused and blown too. My husband played lacrosse in high school and loved it. He had always played football and was a football jock (ugh, I know, I hate them too...fortunately, he's lovable enough to overcome this unfortunate flaw), but when his best friend in HS introduced him to lacrosse, he found what really made him happy. So one day, we're out, and having dinner when the bartender turns the TV to a lacrosse game. My husband immediately is rivited and starts explaining why I should be utterly fascinated by this. As he's talking, the guy sitting next to him, starts telling him about the Annapolis team...and how we're actually pretty good. WHAT WHAT? We have a *league*?!? So, clearly, tickets were immediately purchased and the next thing I know, I'm sitting on the first row, at the 50 yard line, watching incredibly adorably hot guys run past. Right. Best part about lacrosse: uber hot guys. Second best part about lacrosse: uber cheap tickets. We were sitting at the 50 yard line, front row...and tickets were something like $25 each. Third best part about lacrosse? Sitting 10 feet away, staring at uber hot guys. Seriously, why didn't anyone ever tell me about this???!!!??? Arguably, my new favorite sport in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD now. Um...I think we won. I really wasn't paying attention. But my husband had a blast, I had a surprisingly good time, and, again...uber hot guys. Right.

I'm not sure if it was because of the event, but it felt pretty disorganized. The stadium itself is nice, and the upgraded seating was worth it. Concession lines were long as expected, but they moved fairly quickly this time. It was also nice to see more access to ice cream stands on both sides. The biggest disappointment was the kids' zone. They've changed it to an $8 wristband system, but the activities were very limited and repetitive -- mostly variations of throwing a ball into something. There was minimal staff, and it felt unorganized with kids not really taking turns. For younger kids especially, it wasn't worth it. On the way out, there was a foam/bubble area that the kids enjoyed, but it was pretty messy and not well-managed, especially considering the cooler weather. That said, staff were friendly, and my daughter still had a good time overall. And the baseball game was exciting. I'd come back for another game, but would definitely skip the kids' zone next time.
