What a beautiful day for a baseball game! Our seats were great and we almost caught a baseball. the highlight was going out to get some water and ran into the Oriole bird. O's lost but we had a good time.

Die-hard family of fans!! Gotta show my support even on Yelp!! We go early right when the gates open and stay late, it's a good time. A bit of a hike up to Baltimore for us, but we catch as many games as we can and even flew down to FL for a few games of Spring Training or when they play the Rays and a few games at Cleveland last year. All of the players are friendly and such great guys!! LET'S GO O's!!

At one time, I had season tickets to the Baltimore Orioles when they moved into Camden Yards 1997. In fact, that year I enjoyed my first MLB Allstar Game. The Baltimore Orioles were also known as the O's, and for some they called them the "Birds". The Club I believe was originally spent its first year as a major league club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as the Milwaukee Brewers before moving to St. Louis, Missouri, to become the St. Louis Browns in 1902. After fifty-two years in St. Louis, the franchise was purchased in November 1953 by a collective group of Baltimore business and civic interests led by Clarence Miles and Mayor Thomas D'Alesandro Jr. Today, the team's current owner is American trial lawyer Peter Angelos. After several years of having first-round draft picks, the Orioles have assembled a competitive team that is presently leading their division. It was exciting to be back in the Ball Park after a long absent stretch. The energy in the stadium and the surrounding Pubs is energetic with all ages of baseball fans. Hopefully for the Baltimore fans, they can enjoy the excitement of their team back in the MLB playoffs this year.

I liked watching baseball games. So professional MLB players were playing for 5 hours. However, I disliked it was taking long time

Despite being ranked in the bottom third of MLB in terms of wins and losses (at the time of writing this review), the Baltimore Orioles have actually won three World Series titles. Those came in 1966, 1970, and 1983. Really, it wasn't until the late 90s that the Os entered a long stretch of mostly losing seasons. The team had 14 straight losing seasons from 1998 to 2011 and they set dubious records in recent years such as 2018, for most losses in team history, and 2019, setting the single-season league record for most home runs allowed. The Os are named after the state bird of Maryland, but they actually started out as the Milwaukee Brewers in 1901 (not the same Brewers we know today) and soon after became the St. Louis Browns. It wasn't until 1954 that the team moved to Baltimore and became known as the Orioles. Some of the Os' best players (and all Hall of Famers) played for the team decades ago. They include Brooks Robinson (1955-1977), Frank Robinson (1966-1971), "Steady Eddie" Murray (1977-1988), Jim Palmer (1965-1967, 1969-1984), and "The Iron Man" Cal Ripkin Jr. (1981-2001). I, along with most sports fans today, associate Cal Ripkin Jr. with the Orioles. He holds the record for most consecutive games played at 2,632 games, starting May 30, 1982 and ending September 19, 1998. Incredible. The Os' last World Series appearance was that 1983 championship. They did make the playoffs three times in the 2010s (2012, 2014, 2016), making it as far as the ALCS in 2014, but they got swept by the Kansas City Royals, 4-0. Three-time AL Manager of the Year, including in 2014, Buck Showalter, managed the Os during that relatively successful stretch (2010-2018). Baltimore has been rebuilding since under current GM Mike Elias who also serves as the team's Executive Vice President. It will be interesting to see where the Orioles go under Elias' direction.

My second O's game and I still had a good time. August, though. Wow. Hot and humid and very sweaty. The ten minutes of rain that fell in the bottom of the first inning didn't help. But we're rating the Orioles today. And honestly, they played poorly getting beaten 5-3 by the Boston Red Sox. Lots of players left on base. No errors (the Sox made one). They were just outplayed. I'd have to guess that more than a third of the park was Sox fans tonight. And certainly, they were louder than the O's fans.

We switched bodies. Now Orioles are reversed.

The Baltimore OREOs are sponsored by cookies. Not just any cookies... Pepperidge Farm! Just kidding. Their excellent field is fantastic, but the team is less fantastic. Yes I find baseball boring, but I do think what Boston has achieved in the last 20 years is amazing and commendable. Baltimore needs the same type of owners in order to achieve anything significant, to give the loyal fans the kind of seasons they deserve and the kind of Play Off baseball that this amazing arena deserves. I also think the mega rich Orioles should do more to help the extreme poverty less than a mile from this palace of a stadium, to the North West. That goes for the Ravens too.

Although I am a dedicated Yankees fan, I just love a good baseball game especially in beautiful Camden yards. The O's territory is just stunning and it doesn't matter where you sit in the stadium you will have a nice view of the field. Lots of food, drinks, awesome O's fan, and nice environment to enjoy the game.

I'm a Yankees fan - always have been, always will be (though we'll disregard how awful they've been so far this year). That said, I'm also a bit of a ballpark chaser, so I make it a point to visit stadiums whenever possible. Seeing the Orioles play at Camden Yards has always been one of my favorite experiences, and I've been fortunate enough to sit in different parts of the stadium for games. There's no bad view, honestly. I've also recently had the good fortune of having seats on the Club Level, which is pretty fantastic. There's a Boog's Barbeque on the Club Level (which is great, because the line for the one on Eutaw Street was really long from basically the time the gates opened), as well as a variety of other concessions and lounges. Seeing so much of the memorabilia from Orioles history is also pretty great. And yes, it's hard to beat the view from those seats. TL;DR Love Camden Yards and watching the Orioles play. Yes, I will totally be back. :)

But when that sportsball event becomes a fabulous pride night that gives away a free rainbow jersey and features appropriate music from the likes of Chappell Roan, Abba, and then some, you best believe that you're inclined to attend in spades! Without such a night it was still guaranteed that I was going to hit up an Orioles game during my Baltimore Visit. But the fact that I got to enjoy a fun night with a free jersey and some free Dunkin along the way made it even more incredible. And beyond that I saw enough to make it one of the best ballparks that I ever attended! Walking from M8 Beer (review coming later) to the stadium was easily accessible to the point that it literally looked like passing through said park before crossing a bridge. From there it was easy access to Dunkin hookups and and Orioles Shopping center that was built to feel like downtown shopping in a strip mall. Once I entered everything you'd expect from a ballpark was to the right side and easy to find, but it was also readily available within reason on all floors. As far as theming, spectacle, tradition, convenience, and then some, Oriole Park was the baseball stadium that delivered it all with a bang and then some!

Parking is a bit confusing if you don't know where you're going, despite the signs, I got directed to the wrong area this year when trying to find lot FGH. Last year I found FGH with ease, but my GPS failed me this time around. Ended up parking in lot C (with no additional charge) due to the wonderful employees. All ball parks are expensive for food & drink, so don't complain. The Local Fry's "The Local" Fries (quadruple entendre?) are phenomenal & worth it. Had a ton of "leftover" crab dip that was eaten without fries left to match. Absolutely horrific time seated directly next to people due to how cramped stadium seating is. First time I went I had nobody near me, this year it was 95°, then stormed, and touching arms with other wet/sweaty folk was enough to make me squirm!

M&T Bank Stadium…read more Customer Service-For my very first experience, it was great. I had to ask a couple of questions while trying to understand how to navigate to the club-level area, and everyone assisted with a smile. One of my favorite Club level perks? FREE WATER AND SODAS!!!! With the stadium prices being what they are, having complimentary drinks available was definitely appreciated. Food- I tried a little bit of everything, and overall, the food was hit or miss. Crab Cake egg rolls from Jimmy's Seafood. As a BMore girl, anything with "crab cake" in the name is going to get my attention. They were okay-not bad, but they didn't necessarily wow me either. The Little Caesars pizza was pretty small, but it's Little Caesars at a stadium, so I knew what I was getting. It did the job. Chicken Tenders & Western Fries. The tenders really didn't have any flavor, and the western fries were just meh for me. However, I absolutely loved how this meal represented Baltimore. There's something about seeing this familiar BMore-style dish, served in a box at a Ravens game, that just felt right. Kudos to whoever came up with the concept! Maybe if it came with saltpeppaketchuphotsauce, yes, all one word, IYKYK, it would have enhanced the taste and added flavor. Popcorn- freshly popped, hot, and exactly what this OG popcorn lover wants while watching a game. I also tried both the classic cinnamon and Oreo churros, and both were Good. Ambiance-Great aesthetics for a stadium. Club level was nicely decorated as well. Parking-Rough, and on opener day with double games (Ravens and Orioles), it was horrible. Many lots were available for a fee; I paid $80. But having the convenience of getting in and out, not being blocked in and waiting hours to get out of a garage, made the cost worth it.

Woah. WHAT WHAT? A couple things that have blown my mind…read more 1) There is a Major League Lacrosse team. Like, at all. and 2) ANNAPOLIS has a league. WHAAAAAAT? Right? I'm confused and blown too. My husband played lacrosse in high school and loved it. He had always played football and was a football jock (ugh, I know, I hate them too...fortunately, he's lovable enough to overcome this unfortunate flaw), but when his best friend in HS introduced him to lacrosse, he found what really made him happy. So one day, we're out, and having dinner when the bartender turns the TV to a lacrosse game. My husband immediately is rivited and starts explaining why I should be utterly fascinated by this. As he's talking, the guy sitting next to him, starts telling him about the Annapolis team...and how we're actually pretty good. WHAT WHAT? We have a *league*?!? So, clearly, tickets were immediately purchased and the next thing I know, I'm sitting on the first row, at the 50 yard line, watching incredibly adorably hot guys run past. Right. Best part about lacrosse: uber hot guys. Second best part about lacrosse: uber cheap tickets. We were sitting at the 50 yard line, front row...and tickets were something like $25 each. Third best part about lacrosse? Sitting 10 feet away, staring at uber hot guys. Seriously, why didn't anyone ever tell me about this???!!!??? Arguably, my new favorite sport in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD now. Um...I think we won. I really wasn't paying attention. But my husband had a blast, I had a surprisingly good time, and, again...uber hot guys. Right.

I'm not sure if it was because of the event, but it felt pretty disorganized. The stadium itself is nice, and the upgraded seating was worth it. Concession lines were long as expected, but they moved fairly quickly this time. It was also nice to see more access to ice cream stands on both sides. The biggest disappointment was the kids' zone. They've changed it to an $8 wristband system, but the activities were very limited and repetitive -- mostly variations of throwing a ball into something. There was minimal staff, and it felt unorganized with kids not really taking turns. For younger kids especially, it wasn't worth it. On the way out, there was a foam/bubble area that the kids enjoyed, but it was pretty messy and not well-managed, especially considering the cooler weather. That said, staff were friendly, and my daughter still had a good time overall. And the baseball game was exciting. I'd come back for another game, but would definitely skip the kids' zone next time.
