I was here with my daughter and granddaughter, first time for my granddaughter. It was a nice day so we sat outside on the patio . They enlarged the patio this year and was told they are getting new patio furniture next year. The inside is rustic and cozy. They have a gas fireplace which is nice on a chilly day. We had a cheese tray with our wine which was very good . They also do tastings

Baltic Mill never disappoints. The rd blend is exceptional, the cheese board was a hit, and the music was an added bonus. Love this place!

I enjoyed some of their wines- the daisy was my favorite. It was light and not to sweet.I didn't care for the strawberry that tasted too artificial for my liking. The meat and cheese board was generous, with a mustard that was to die for! The aged cheddar was my favorite cheese. The staff was super helpful and answered all my questions with a smile. The atmosphere is very quaint, and I enjoyed looking around. Definitely a nice winery to check out if you're in the area.

We came to the winery after eating at the restaurant across the street. They have mostly local wine which I find to be too sweet but they did order some dry reds including a blend and Italian wine that we liked. Again, this is a must visit because of the atmosphere and good folks.

Stopped here on a Monday afternoon. The woman working was very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was cozy, sat by the fireplace while we enjoyed our flights of wine. Highly recommend the blackberry wine. Flights and bottle prices were very reasonable. The winery was clean and following Covid protocols. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

I loved this place. The atmosphere was perfect and the employees were very helpful. The only thing I didn't care for was that they close so early lol. It is well worth the drive to visit!

Great place to stop off for a relaxing bottel of wine. Very happy with the wine and the service. Its a must do.

The winery itself is in a beautiful historic building. Their tasting experience was great. A flight of 4 larger tastes for $9. Also, their COVID precautions were excellent. Distanced seating inside and out, and they absolutely REQUIRED masks to enter. Once you were seated and drinking, you could unmask. I felt safe - and that's saying a lot because I have not been willing to go inside many places since March! I bought a couple of bottles and cider as well! I really love their Blend No. 111!

This place was amazingly nice. The guy that waited on us was very courteous and helpful with the wines. Tastings were 50 cents each. They had 9 wines to choose from. The dry whites ( Sauv Blanc, Pinot Grigio ) were very good. The reds blend 111 ( after the address of Baltic Mill Winery ), and Rosso Del Baltico was good. I ended with a blackberry which was great. We ended up with a 111, and 2 whites, and a just peachy. This place was an old flour business where flour was made. We toured the upstairs, and you can tour the basement as well. I recommend going here. Great place.

We thought the Blackberry and Rowville red wines were fantastic! Definitely a unique flavor to both with superb aftertastes.

The Rowville Red, named for The town's former moniker, is my new fave wine--a Concord Sweet red.

I love a good glass of wine and a cute winery! Located a short distance from Troyer's Amish Tours,…read morenestled among the rolling hills of Ohio's Amish countryside, Der Marktplaz, is home of Breitenbach Wine Cellars. Breitenbach produces an array of extensive award-winning grape, fresh fruit, and berry wines, and what they are most known for, Dandelion wine. They produce 40 varieties of grape and fruit wines resulting in about 150,000 gallons. WOOOOW! That's a lot of wine, but hey someone must make it for us wine lovers. What I love is that they grow their own grapes and make their wine on site. What really caught my attention was the purple "Winemakers Barn". It was so cute! While I did not go inside, the outside was enough to make me say how cool. I am not sure about you but I love a good snack like cheese or a charcuterie board while drinking wine. When you walk in, there is a cheese section along with all the wine to purchase. After this is the sampling area! They have plenty of flavors to choose from and man did I indulge. They also have a great tasting offer. You can sample 4 wines for $1.00. I ended up sampling 12 wines. I am a sweet wine drinker so I did not try any of the dry wines. I also like fruit wines and they have 15 flavors to choose from. I grabbed a cheese and cracker plate and enjoyed my wine tasting. I enjoyed the hospitality Breitenbach shared and enjoyed the wine they offer. They are doing some amazing wine making! Also, make sure to try the Dandelion wine. It is unique! By the time wine tasting ended, I left with 5 bottles of wine and 2 candles. What can I say, I am a girl who loves her wine and candles! I highly encourage experiencing Amish country and then relaxing at Breitenbach Winery!

We walked in and entered the room with all of the bottles for sale. I asked where they do tastings and the staff told us that is in the next room over. When we went in, I asked what we needed to do in order to taste. (there are large signs at the "bar" area that they do not do tastings at the bar). We were greeted with a "go over to one of the tables" but kind of with an attitude like we should have known better to just go over to a table instead of asking a question. Once we did visit a table, there is a list of wines on a paper and pens. You can taste as many as you want, but can only sample four at a time. Samples are 50 cents each. I enjoyed some of the dryer reds, but wasn't a fan of certain specialty ones (the dandelion one really intrigued me but both my husband and I disliked it). The person doing the sampling the day we were there didn't seem to like the fact that I was asking questions about the wine and the winery. There was a definite attitude. Maybe it is because we weren't regulars or seemed like we wouldn't buy or something. But it was definitely off putting. The staff in the front room were definitely much friendlier and accommodating. Overall, a fun stop, but not one I'd rush back to next time I'm in the area.
