I used them to deliver balloons to our granddaughter who was in surgery with a broken ankle. We live 400 miles away so were very happy he was able to deliver balloons to her AFTER HOURS to home when she returned home after surgery. His prices were in line with others and our granddaughter loved what he sent. He had some suggestions on what to include and his suggestions were great! I highly recommend him! read more

The balloons were amazing. Best there is in the business. Thanks so much to the team that made it happen! They also went the extra mile. 5 stars for sure! read more

Balloons Decor - Beautiful balloons for my store opening! - Balloon Services Near Me

Yury is not a pleasant person to work with, he misses a number of important details, and he puts himself first vs customers first. Background: I called Yury and placed an order for balloons for my wife's birthday on 11/16 and also paid him in advance. Attached is a screenshot of my Venmo payment to Yury on 11/7 saying "Balloons for 11/16 birthday event". It specifically says 11/16. Somehow Yury thought the event was on 11/9 as he had called me on 11/9 asking about details of the order. It was at that time I realized Yury had the wrong date as he was already making the balloons. I told him "no it is on 11/16" and he said all of his notes say 11/9. I know my wife's birthday so I am positive I said 11/16 and also my screenshot attached shows "11/16 event". The way I see it is Yury had 3 options at this point: 1. Put the customer first - Yury could think to himself: ok balloons are cheap, helium is cheap, and while he spent some time making the balloons, the customer may have been right here. He could have decided to just agree to fulfill the order on 11/16. 2. Find a middle ground - Yury could have thought, maybe he was in the wrong or maybe the customer was in the wrong, in which case let's find a middle ground / compromise. If so, he could have told me "hey I already spent some time/effort and materials in fulfilling the order, but how about I charge you for some of the materials and labor." Even if Yury proposed charging me for half of the total cost of the order, this would make some sense. 3. Put himself first - this is the option Yury decided to go with as he kept saying on and on that all of his notes say 11/9 and that he already made the balloons. Yury would not budge on anything. I even proposed to Yury: "ok how about you I pay you for a new order but you waive the $90 delivery fee for the new order" ($90 for delivery is a whole other issue where I feel like he overcharged to deliver within 5-10 minutes from his location). Even with this suggestion, Yury had to think about it and wouldn't give me a clear answer. Why is that such a difficult decision? Yury did not go and make a delivery on 11/9 so why would he charge me again for delivery the next week on 11/16? Makes no sense. Just use the $90 for delivery from my original order and apply it to my second order. Of those 3 options, I personally would have never chose option 3 if I were in Yury's shoes. If there is a Venmo payment showing 11/16 and the customer is saying it is his wife's birthday, it is likely 11/16. For that reason, I would have chose option 1 or at bare minimum option 2. However, Yury decided to put himself first here. Not the type of person I want to do business with personally and this is the type of person you would be working with if you choose to use Balloons Decor. Aside from the date of the event (which was very very important), Yury also got my order wrong. He sent over a quote, I told him no this wasn't what he discussed, and he realized and acknowledged it was his bad. People running a business need to be DETAIL ORIENTED, otherwise it can put customers like myself in situations like this. Lastly, Yury just isn't a pleasant person to talk to or work with based on my personal opinion. I would avoid this business. read more

Tried ordering 2 sets of balloons for my wife's BDay, same day delivery. Yury suggested delivery time 3pm-5pm same day, which was perfect for me and I was really grateful. Was promised with quote to be sent to email ASAP. As the problem was solved, I went to do other stuff for the day. Later I got a message that there is no available delivery person and my order can't be completed. I asked if I can pick up myself and the answer was no. While I understand that there was no commitment from Yury, promising the service and not providing it is unexpected and disappointing, to say the least. read more

Yury is great: communicative, on time, very efficient, and reasonably priced. Definitely use him again and highly recommend him.

Yury setup the ballon decorations for my wife's babyshower event. He was a great person to work with. He is very passionate about his profession and his work proves that. Each one of his ballon decorations skillfully turns out be beautiful masterpiece art pieces. I could not have asked for more. He was able to visually imagine my ideas and brought it to life very skillfully. Everyone at the party loved it thoroughly. I did throw him a curve ball by asking him to do a cloud of ballons with rain drops dropping down (to mimic the babyshower theme), he knocked it off the park!! On the logistics side, Yury is very responsive on emails and he figured out the decorations that I needed and the budget I wanted to be at. He was very reasonable and most importantly he was available on the date I need him for (specially, that I only found about Yury just a week before). I would certainly come back to Yury for any future events that might need his expertise. Trust me, he is as good as it can get. Thank you Yury, for making our event so memorable. read more

Yury is fabulous! I've used Balloons Decor twice and I've never been disappointed. The first time was a last minute, day of need and Yury accommodated the order flawlessly. He delivered the balloons I needed in the rain and it was everything I asked for. The second time I had a little more time to plan, two days, and again Yury came through. I highly recommend Yury to provide whatever is needed when it comes to balloons! read more

Yury is an absolute delight, and he is incredibly honest. I ordered more balloons than we really needed, and he told me this was the case, which I believe is the #1 sign of a great business owner. His industry is hurting right now from covid, and I am sure it would be tempting to take whatever you could get from customers, but he has his eye on the long-term benefits and repeat business that come from caring for his clients' best interests. I would absolutely hire him again to decorate for our events. read more

Yury and his wife were great! I definitely got my money's worth! For a 50th birthday party the balloons truly make or break the decor for the event! Yury and his wife made it festive, fun and colorful to fit my neon 80s theme! I found a great idea on Pinterest to add a small clothespin to the end of the balloon ribbon and have lots of pictures of the birthday boy growing up...I sent Yury a picture of what I wanted and some ideas for tables and doorway balloons... Yury and his wife made it all happen and had it all up, in place and on time for the party! I definitely recommend them and happy to make the referral!! read more

It was wonderful working with Yury. No issues. He delivered right in the timeframe I gave him. He even found Mylar balloons with 100 on them and added them. We were outside in an Alley behind a building. His balloons brightened up the spot. I paid him in full, though I had the option to pay 50% deposit and 50% at delivery. I highly recommend his business and especially appreciate his reliability. Very easy to work with him. 90% of the transaction was done by email. read more

I'm so grateful to Yury for the bountiful, beautiful, balloon art he created for our daughter's graduation party. We had an outdoor event and I asked if he could create a balloon display which would cascade down the banister of a deck staircase that led to the backyard party. He quickly understood my request and asked me to take a picture of the banister and measure it (due to Covid of course). He returned my photograph to me with a 'sample' as he superimposed a balloon display on my banister. That was great, as I could see how he was interpreting my request, and it gave me confidence Yury understood what I wanted. We discussed colors and he provided great advice on pairing different shades of reds, white, and grey balloons together. On the day of the party, Yury arrived two hours early to do his install. He worked quickly and was very considerate of the other people who were doing party-set-up. He gave us a chance to review his work and even added a few more balloons upon request. The result was beautiful! It was festive! It was bountiful! It brought joy to our party and uplifted our spirits. Thank you Yury. You made our day. read more

I didn't get to work with Yury in the end after back and forth few communications. But I appreciated his availability with my short notice.

Yury is a balloon expert! He delivered exactly what we asked for (almost identical to the mock up he provided for the quote). Great service!

This is a long overdue review... I hired Balloons Decor for my daughter's 4th birthday in September. She wanted a Frozen theme (shocker, I know). Yury absolutely killed it with these giant Olaf like balloon creations that were 4-5 ft tall posted throughout our yard. He also had Elsa & Anna balloons made. My daughter loved it! I will definitely hire him again! read more
