Balloon Museum is located in Wynwood at the Mana Convention Center. It's a temporary pop-up art installation that started New York and Atlanta and now Miami. Before it came into town, there was a waitlist that you could sign up for to get 50% off tickets. Official opening day was on June 22nd and they're here until October 6th. I remember seeing photos from the New York pop-up and it looked super cool. There is this ridiculous ball pit room that was massive and it just looked so cool. I knew we had to check this out. When you buy tickets, you're buying for a certain timeslot on a certain date. Tickets range from adult, children, family, package, and Florida residents. Tickets are non-refundable but you can purchase insurance on the tickets in case something happens and you can't make your date/time. Insurance is only $10 and worth it for peace of mind. Otherwise, if you don't use your tickets, you can use it for a different date/time. Inquire within. There are so many different art installation rooms and so many cool photo opportunities. Everything is INSTAGRAMMABLE!!! It's so hard to pick a favorite room!. My tips include Swing, Canopy, ADA, Hyperstellar and Perpetual Ballet. My most favorite room is hands down Hyperstellar which is the ball pit room. You'll see once you walk in there. The Balloon Museum is absolutely worth it and has so many fun ways to create memories and take cool photos/videos. It's a bonus that we got a discount on the tickets We could spend all day here. They estimate about 1.5 hours to see everything, we took our time, had fun and took 2.5 hours. It can get very crowded so be ready. At the end of the museum, they have about 12 different cubicles for photo opps. Like more photo opps if you can believe that. It's quite smart actually. There is also a Balloon Shop and some concessions at the Balloon Bar. Very cool and interactive museum. Highly recommended. It was pretty crowded for the second day of opening so I'm sure the remainder of the time that it's here, it'll be pretty packed. Get your tickets while you can!

I wish Yelp could provide 1/2 ratings, I give this a 4.5 stars! This is an interactive museum with over 15 different inflatable artworks to photograph and play with located at the Mana in Wynwood. I absolutely loved it! It is family friendly so bear that in mind Here's what you should know! -Tickets: $44 per Adult, $33 per Child, $41 for FL Residents & Students on Weekends! Prices are cheaper during the weekdays! - Parking also varies during the time of the week for 8 hours sessions on-site for $40 , so take advantage of street parking! - A 3rd of your visit will have your shoes covered to keep the floors clean, but it is slippery so be careful! - You can stand up in the ball pit so it's not super deep! I recommend getting in the pit first safely before falling back lol! - Tickets are on sale until October with room for extension!

Fun experience! Kid friendly. Many activities to do. Go with friends and family and take bunch of pictures. Some employees would rush you out of some areas Beware of the parking. They will charge you $26 to park over the weekend. Park on the street and pay street parking. Approx $3/hour

I absolutely loved this museum. So sad it ended this past weekend. It had a lot to do inside and was a very big museum. I've been to some in Miami that are expensive and super small. I can't wait for this one to come back.

    The art. :)))

Always wanted to go to one and so glad I did. I had an awesome time. Don't like driving to Miami much but trips like these are worth it. It's a little pricey but hey it's Miami. But so worth it. Parking is expensive so you can park outside the warehouse. It's nice how they set the times so the area is not overcrowded and you can actually enjoy the displays and shows. A must visit at least once. A must visit when in the local area....

Everything! Amazing is the word for the place. Clearly from my face you can see the excitement and inner child being released lol. I would go back to this place on repeat, in slow motion, just WOW! Who knew art could take form in air, crafted by talented workmanship to create such an immersive, engaging and fun atmosphere. When I tell you I'm so happy I made it to check this out! Balloon museum, you came, you saw, and ate, leaving no crumbs. You will be missed.

Great immersive experience! We were there much longer than expected (about two hours) and all had a wonderful time. Tip: Park in the street and walk

Absolutely loved the museum! Immersive Great for pictures Family friendly They have a gift shop Ballon making shop Cotton candy and some quick food The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because it was packed with kids (not that this is bad BUT I think there should be designated kid slots so they can play without having adults interfering and vice versus) we had a little kid hit the white ball so hard it literally broke my cousins inner lip. Make sure u by tickets ahead and prking is pricey so maybe park in the street Wear comfy clothes and no skirts or heels if u want to get in the ball pit because u will be uncomfortable

Oh my god. Mind blowing experience I ever had. I have mild un-treated ADHD so I never got diagnosis but I know I have it and let me tell you my mind, body, and soul was extremely happy here. Had a blast and would go back!

Not sure if this was meant to be as a playground as well as a whimsical museum. I'm all for kids enjoying art but not at the expense of the pieces or enjoyment of those around them. Went on a Saturday so of course it was a little over crowded. I suggest buying a ticket online to get a designated time slot and even then it was still packed at the time we went. Waited in line for about 30 mins to take a picture with a balloon tree. Ball pit room was the best part. Tickets are WAY TO EXPENSIVE, so try to go throughout the week to save a few extra dollars. Do not pay for parking in the lot, search for some outside parking and walk. Half the installations make for great pictures and there's about 12 cubicles at the end with each a different theme for that extra cute IG picture. Going once was enough for me!

I had great hopes for this place. Great art pieces. However, could not be enjoyed to the over abundance of kids. Way too many kids destroying art. Screaming. Parents complaining of over stimulation for the kids. One kid got poked in the eye on the big rubber gall due to parents not supervising. Kids were destroying art work. A pregnant lady couldn't get out of the black ball pool, had to get her out. It's a great exhibit, but a huge liability with the kids that were there. I was trying to read each piece of art represented, but could not appreciate due to the over abundance of kids and destruction of art, along with parents not supervising and thinking it was Chuck E Cheese. Cheapening the experience. Not worth the $44.00 a ticket, $26.00 parking .

Interesting museum using only balloons for abstract art. They also have an interactive balloon pit with lights and music. The exhibit is about 1.5 hours long.

The setting and location could not be better - totally breathtaking. Views of the causeway and Biscayne Bay / Downtown Miami are amazing. The architectural details with concrete and MCM inspired wooden accents are just perfect. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and definitely added to our experience, and the gift shop is great. The restaurant is excellent and has a thoughtful menu, with several items that are inspired by pieces from the permanent collection. The sports art exhibit took much more space than I would have liked. There is a LOT of money in Miami, and I would have expected a permanent collection or even visiting exposition that would rival museums in New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC. - modern art, Impressionism, renaissance, or other fine art would be incredible. That being said, I will definitely return to enjoy the museum, and look forward to seeing where their artistic directors take things in years to come!

The entrance was dark and we walked into a maze like room with large written digital displays of Van Gogh's story, Vincent and his brother Theo. The main room was the actual digital display of his artwork in a 360 degrees art story played to music. It was very beautiful and filled the large room as we stood in the middle and took it all in. Some older than us has small fold up seats as younger sat on the floor. The room was not overcrowded mid week. There were two filled small benches but no other seating, my only complaint. I thought i saw ads showing spaced seating in the room, however i could be mistaken. It was not a long show and i believe you could stay and watch it again as it appeared to repeat itself. We stayed and watched the beginning over again. All in all we were there approx 2 hours. I'm happy i went and learned some history of this wonderful artist and the digital display was very beautiful. I think the Van Gogh's themselves would have been very impressed.
