Paradox is one of the most rarest and creative museums you will find in Miami. Its located in the heart of Wynwood with over 70 amazing mind blowing exhibits. This museum is all about illusions, mirrors and eye tricks. They have reflective mirrors to make funny faces and wall illusions that will blow your mind. Each exhibit brings out a creative imagination that will play tricks on your eyes or your brain. This is the perfect place for a group or fun date. It's super cool and interactive museum that will play mind games with you. A perfect place to take unique pictures as well. I had a really nice time experiencing all the exhibits and the staff were really friendly.

What a wonderful staff and a wonderful time! So many photo opportunities and they come out so great! This is an awesome place to visit with the whole family. You won't be disappointed.

This was one of the worst 'museums' we've ever been to. A quarter of the way through I was regretting that I recommended to my family that we come here and wanted to just leave. The space did not feel as if any thought had been put into the ambience, and it felt like a series of intents of photo ops but had no substance. In the heat of South Florida the space was poorly air, conditioned, and musty. The only positive was the staff who's incredibly friendly and helpful and offers to take your photographs. It was such a disappointing experience, especially since the façade with the gift shop upon arrival makes it look like it might be something that's actually good. Save your money and don't waste your time.

I loved coming here it's a great place for family and friends and kids. It's very interactive and fun I love the illusion some of the rooms had it was literally mind blowing how each room gave a different illusion and perception on camera. The staff was very friendly and helpful there's also a gift area where you can buy gifts at the end of your time being at the museum. I wish it was bigger and had more things for us to do and interact with I did think the exhibit would be bigger but it definitely was fun!

We had a lot of fun at this interactive museum in the Wynwood area of Miami. Paradox offers 70 illusion-based exhibits providing great photos ops. There are attendants offering help and taking photos along the way. You walk one way through with the bathrooms half way and a gift shop at the end. I felt some motion sickness and should have taken Dramamine. We spent about an hour and a half there. Tickets are $26 during week and $28 on weekends. There is no parking lot. Paid parking is available in the neighborhood with the PaybyPhone app.

Been wanting to see this place for a while now, the course I teach includes a section on optical illusions and that is basically what this whole museum is about. It was pretty busy on the Sunday afternoon that we went there. The admission is around $26 but I was able to get a teacher discount which saved us a couple of dollars each. You go through rooms with different exhibits and there are signs that explain the different experiences. It is a great place to take really interesting pictures, and it's just fun stuff to see. You will be perplexed and entertained throughout. We spent close to two hours there, looking and experiencing all the exhibits. There are staff members there to answer any questions and to take pictures, so you don't have to worry about asking a stranger to take a picture of your whole party.

Spent 2 hours 30 minutes here. A little pricey for something that takes most about 1 hr 30 m. Discount offered for Florida residents and a few other categories (although none for seniors). Employees were present and extremely helpful throughout the exhibits. They explain what you should do to fully grasp what you are viewing and were very helpful taking pictures of the entire group. Most of the exhibits were fully functional. A few at the start have plaques where the writing has been worn off by people touching them and should be replaced. Most of the exhibits had QR codes that better explained the science. There were just a couple duplicative exhibits that were broken. Overall a fun experience. Be prepared to pay for parking. There are a small number of mobile pay parking spots on the side and back of the property. Street parking around this area is available using the same mobile parking app. Think we paid less than $10 after adding a couple hours to our initial. You can easily extend on the non-affiliated parking app. Tip: Walking distance to Wynwood Walls. So many gorgeous building murals to view for free. Some shopping and many restaurants and bars to choose from. In February 2025 exploring this area is considered a top ten thing to do in Miami. The marketplace is your main target. May as well do it at the same time!

It was the best experience ever! We had so many laughs and 200 million Instagram worthy pics! Great for family friendly summer fun!

We spent 1 hour and 30 minutes even though we tried to speed through the museum. I can't believe how mind blowing some of the pictures were. The staff was super friendly and I loved every single one of them! They were so willing to help photograph and explain what to do and how and even show live examples! If they change stuff here and there again, I would come back again for more pictures. It was a fund adventure for us.

Fun, but nothing insanely special! Had the opportunity to check out the Paradox Museum with the Yelp elite squad. It was a cute way to spend the afternoon, with fun visual effects. It is mainly built to take photographs, however, rather than an immersive experience. May be good for young kids. I wouldn't say i would pay to experience it.

I took 3 teenage boys and it managed to keep their attention for about 45 minutes. I can't complain. I would recommend it for a fun date day idea. It's right in wynwood so you can some good food after.

    Shadows

The idea is good. Mostly the execution is good. But there are some rough edges that make it- imo- overpriced. I'm not sure how long it has been open but things are looking a little run down. We got in on a discounted day and still felt it was a little too expensive for adult fun. I love a paradox and visual puzzles and I di my best to have fun. It seemed like several new exhibits were going to open soon but is disappointing when you don't get the chance to see them.

Absolutely loved the Paradox museum. Fun little spot you get to be interactive with. Great photo opportunities as well. Great for adults and kids.

They luckily hold onto the bags while we explore the museum and this worked perfectly for us. Kids thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Florida gators and other reptiles. The aquarium has shark and a huge turtle in addition to several other varieties of sea life. Kids spent several hours in the flight museum and the interactive universe simulator model as well. We also caught one of the shows in the planetarium, make sure to reserve a spot during a time slot of your choice well before hand. Perfect stop if you have a few hours in Miami.

It took us about 2.5 hours to explore the entire place including the planetarium show. The show that worked out best with timing was called "How to Die in Space: An Interactive Adventure Through the Cosmos." The girl leading it was wonderful but as you may figure by its name, the show was not a peaceful experience. There were a number of explosions that I think scared some of the kids in attendance. The other exhibits included one about flight, the human body/mind, an aquarium, dinosaurs, and general Florida wildlife. I can't say I learned a terrible amount of new information but it was fine. I appreciate the museum's mission and it probably would be cool for toddlers-little kids.

The architecture is exquisite! A feast for the eyes in so many ways. When we came to visit, they were doing renovations. You could see the water damage on the roof and walls, probably caused by one of the many Summer storms, because of that the tickets were at a discount that day but we were still able to appreciate the beauty of Viscaya. There are two cafe's. One in the garden of the main house, and another across the street where farm animals use to be kept. Surprisingly, the food and drinks are reasonably priced. The day we were there, a wedding was going to take place and there was a lot of commotion going on. Fancy tables being set up, fine china, crystal glasses, the whole works. We asked a security guard how much it costs to have a wedding reception there and he said: "Just to rent the space, no tables, no nothing, starting price is 100k". So if you have 100k lying around, and plan to get married soon, this could be an option for you. Jokes aside though; I'd definitely visit again.

If this was a $10 admission fee, I'd probably add one star. But, they charge $25/pp and there's not much to the place. All that said....is it interesting? Sure. It makes you wonder why the guy who built the place obsessively worked to make it. The story about his lost love gives his the motivation. Still, pretty incredible that he went to this effort by himself.

My husband has wanted to come here ever since he was a kid, after hearing Leonard Nimoy talk about…read moreit on his show In Search Of.... Hubs told me about it, and then we heard about it together on Coast to Coast Am, early in our marriage. I had forgotten all about it until we were planning our trip to the Keys and my husband brought it up, so, we made it a priority to visit. Homestead is basically the last city you hit on the mainland before you begin your journey through the Keys, so you don't really have to make special plans to get here if you're heading there. Admission is $25 per adult, slightly less for children. With tax and a credit card convenience fee of $1.50, our total admission cost was $55. Personally, I think it was worth it, but then, I am into the weird stuff. The place can accomodate at least 100 people, but due to the oddity of the place and, I'm guessing, it's lack of notoriety, it doesn't seem to get very busy. There were maybe 25-30 people in the 2.5 hours we spent there. Coral Castle is almost entirely outdoors and exposed to the elements, so it is not really a castle. There are sitting areas, a dining area, bathing area and one enclosed living (sleeping) area. The living area could be called a tower, as it is two floors, but 1) You only get to see the lower floor which is now kind of a tool shed museum and 2) You can peek in it, but you can't actually go in it. Everything is made of a type of stone called oolite limestone. It is extremely strong and very heavy. The mystery of the castle is how it was built. How did one 5' tall man move multiple stones, weighing a ton or more, by himself? How did he make his stone chairs rock, and his stone gates turn? He claimed to know the secrets of the pyramid builders, and to this day, no one really knows how he did it. There are guided tours at regularly scheduled intervals, and you can join in anytime at no additional charge (recommended), or you can walk around and look at everything yourself, but there is no signage. You can stay as long as you want and take as many pictures as you want as well. There is a gift shop which has a cutout of Edward Leedskalnin, the man who built Coral Castle, that you can take a photo of or selfie with, along with the usual gift shop fare of shirts/sweatshirts, postcards, magnets, books, and other items. If you're looking for something interesting and unusual to do on the way to the Keys, I highly suggest a stop here. 99/2025
