The Balloon Museum in Miami is an absolute gem that offers a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with vibrant colors and whimsical designs that instantly lift your spirits. Exhibition Rooms: The exhibition rooms are creatively designed, showcasing an array of fascinating balloon art and interactive installations. Each room invites you to explore and engage, making it a fantastic outing for families and friends. The playful atmosphere encourages fun and laughter, ensuring a memorable experience. Cleanliness: One of the standout features of the museum is its impeccable cleanliness. The staff clearly takes pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which enhances the overall experience. It's refreshing to enjoy such a whimsical space that is also well-kept. Accessibility: The museum is fully ADA accessible, making it welcoming to everyone. This thoughtful consideration means that all guests can enjoy the exhibits without barriers, which is a significant plus for inclusive outings. Overall, my visit to the Balloon Museum was a fantastic day filled with joy and creativity. Whether you're an art lover, a family looking for a fun day out, or just someone who appreciates unique experiences, this museum is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!

This was a great exhibit but I feel like it's more for kids than for people in their 30s and up. My 20 month old had an absolute "ball". It only took about 2 hours with her.

BALLOON MANIA... This Pop-Up event runs five months thru Sept at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center then on to the next city. Paid at the venue $42 discounted rate for FL resident including $30 for parking in the private lot which was an unexpected cost, but had to park somewhere safe. Tickets were also available online. Decided to come here during the week to avoid a ton of little kids on the weekends or summer camp trips. Definitely NOT adult friendly entertainment. Took exactly one hour to experience all the room, so pricey for a short time. Maybe at a busier time it would be 1.5 hours but no way longer. Most of the exhibits were hands off and a few were interactive like the swings and ball room with music and cool light shows. It was something the wife wanted to see since it looked cool on Instagram, but not something I would ever do again.

This place was truly worth the price and experience. Every room has a different theme and structure (per se) very nice and well taken care of. We truly loved the balloon pool. They do a little show with lights changing and it's truly immersive. My daughter was in awe the whole time. Definitely kid friendly and it was not overcrowded. It's definitely a place you need to go at least once. My favorite room was truly the swings with the balloons that make you feel like you are swinging towards the sky.

What a fantastic and fun experience. I totally recommend this place. I went with a group, and we all had a great time. The place was busy but not too much, manageable. They ran a special for 50% off at the beginning and every week after that was 40%, 30% and so on.

I would say this is a museum for kids/families only. First off for parking, try to find parking on the streets nearby rather than in the lot as they charge $30 which is a rip off. As for the museum, it's inside a large warehouse. There's bathrooms in the beginning and in the end only, so make sure you go before you enter the museum. You are also not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks in but they don't check your strollers or bags for things. As for the exhibitions, some of them were better than others, but a lot seemed really tailored to kids. Some of the rooms were really boring with just balloon creatures standing there while others were more interactive. The place also was pretty toasty so dress on the cooler side. They have AC but it's summer in Miami so it gets hot inside despite that. It wasn't too crowded so you could still enjoy all the rooms without feeling overwhelmed. Would I recommend this to other people, probably not for the price point, but if you have kids and it's a rainy day it's a good activity to bring them to. It took us about 1.5 hours to slowly make our way through the whole thing.

Such a fun activity. Good for an hour or two. We came as a couple, but it would be great for a family with kids. Florida resident discount which is nice but would get pricey with a larger group. Interactives were cute and the ball pit was a great activity. All the swings were a great time! If you opt for the couples package just a heads up it looks like the "2 drinks" is just soda. Nice assortment of treats at the end! Didn't look like any bathrooms throughout so either use before or wait until you've gone to the end.

Absolutely love this activation, I go every year they do the popup in Miami. If you don't have kids you might want to try to go during a time where it'll be less kids around. If you do have kids, they will have a great time. I love showcasing the best of Miami so find me on IG to see more @chloexmorgann

This exhibit was so much fun!!! Located at Mana Wynwood Convention center, there is a private lot for it, but since it's located in Wynwood there is also plenty of street parking available. I came with a group of friends and we purchased our tickets online in advance and each adult ticket was about $56. They require time slots to ensure the exhibits are not over crowded at any point in time which we realized was very helpful while we were there. Once we entered the convention center, we made the line and were led into the first room and from then on we were able to walk into each next room at our own pace which was nice because we weren't being rushed despite the time slots on our tickets. There was at least one attendant in each room where the art exhibit was not meant to be touched or stood on. There were so many interesting photo and video opportunities throughout the exhibit. Which was awesome, but experiencing it is completely different (videos and pictures are not as fun. Some of the installations are interactive and of course this is a family friendly exhibit so that is something to keep in mind as there were a lot of children present and at moments it was very loud and rowdy. My only complaint is that the only way to get to the bathroom was either way the very beginning or very end of the experience, so if you needed to use the bathroom halfway through, you would have to walk through the entire museum to get to the restroom. At the very end there is a gift shop where they had tons of balloon art, toys and cute trinkets for purchase. They also had a seating area and a cafe with some sandwiches, pastries and refreshments. Overall a cool experience and I would recommend this to anyone with children, or someone looking for a cute date idea.

The museum has been on my to do list for a bit and kept seeing it on Instagram. Fun time in the white ball pit and the swings under the light show. Mostly kids here but not really an adult activity anyways. Had a good time playing in the rooms with my hubby but for the $42 price tag it was a one time thing. Parking was expensive.

Mostly all new art installations since last time they were in town. I think there were only two that were previously there. Being here makes you feel like a kid again! It was a great time for all and will definitely be coming back!

I went to the ballon museum when it first opened and I enjoyed it. So much so that I returned when they opened again. I went on Saturday morning so it wasn't too packed. Each room was different and interactive. My favorite part was the butterfly swing and the room with the floating latex balloons. For some room, they kept the same concept but still made it different. For example, the ball pit. They had the ball pit both times but each time was a different color and different light show. If you're looking for something different to do, this is a great option.

This place was super cute and interactive. Got a lot of good pictures and the art installations were very inspiring. I wish I took a little more time to enjoy each exhibit. We got through the whole thing in 45 minutes. We did get stuck behind a group of kids for about 10 minutes which was slightly annoying.

I love the unassuming rawness of this complex. A number of Anselm Kiefer's large-scale works overwhelm entire spaces: this place was made for them. It's difficult to pick a favorite here but the most unusual is Ernesto Neto's 'É o Bicho,' a 2001 assembly of lycra tulle, polyamide tubes, hooks, tumeric, black pepper and cloves. Looking like a series of large-scale udders hanging from the ceiling, the aroma of the two seasonings inserted into the pendulum-like protuberances is a sensory delight.

The taxes and fees-added up to approx $10 more than the original price so $85 for two tickets. Google maps got us there and we eventually found the $15 self parking lot across the street. This was not well marked. Valet at the location was $20. We saw a little cafe area where they served some light food and drinks. Also a garden area out front with hammocks and chickens :-) The Ice Palace studio is on the outskirts of Wynwood, an artsy section of Miami with murals, graffiti, coffee shops, bars , cafes and boutiques. We were able to enter the exhibit earlier than our assigned time after a few photos at the selfie station. The entrance was dark and we walked into a maze like room with large written digital displays of Van Gogh's story, Vincent and his brother Theo. The main room was the actual digital display of his artwork in a 360 degrees art story played to music. It was very beautiful and filled the large room as we stood in the middle and took it all in. Some older than us has small fold up seats as younger sat on the floor. The room was not overcrowded mid week. There were two filled small benches but no other seating, my only complaint. I thought i saw ads showing spaced seating in the room, however i could be mistaken. It was not a long show and i believe you could stay and watch it again as it appeared to repeat itself. We stayed and watched the beginning over again. All in all we were there approx 2 hours. I'm happy i went and learned some history of this wonderful artist and the digital display was very beautiful. I think the Van Gogh's themselves would have been very impressed.
