This event was a great digital experience. We arrived a short time before our reservation which we made and paid for online. The taxes and fees-added up to approx $10 more than the original price so $85 for two tickets. Google maps got us there and we eventually found the $15 self parking lot across the street. This was not well marked. Valet at the location was $20. We saw a little cafe area where they served some light food and drinks. Also a garden area out front with hammocks and chickens :-) The Ice Palace studio is on the outskirts of Wynwood, an artsy section of Miami with murals, graffiti, coffee shops, bars , cafes and boutiques. We were able to enter the exhibit earlier than our assigned time after a few photos at the selfie station. The entrance was dark and we walked into a maze like room with large written digital displays of Van Gogh's story, Vincent and his brother Theo. The main room was the actual digital display of his artwork in a 360 degrees art story played to music. It was very beautiful and filled the large room as we stood in the middle and took it all in. Some older than us has small fold up seats as younger sat on the floor. The room was not overcrowded mid week. There were two filled small benches but no other seating, my only complaint. I thought i saw ads showing spaced seating in the room, however i could be mistaken. It was not a long show and i believe you could stay and watch it again as it appeared to repeat itself. We stayed and watched the beginning over again. All in all we were there approx 2 hours. I'm happy i went and learned some history of this wonderful artist and the digital display was very beautiful. I think the Van Gogh's themselves would have been very impressed. read more

Beautiful... but please note you'll be inside for about 45 minutes or less. That was the only down side. There were about 3 rooms with moving art. I was expecting more, but was still enjoying it. Valet is $20, and there's a small gift shop at the end of the exhibit. Overall 8/10. read more

I loved attending another immersive art experience about Van Gogh. We got lost trying to find The Ice Palace Studios and ended up going just past it over the bridge to the beach: oops! Ended up just paying for valet parking, because trying to find the Studio parking lot seemed over-complicated. There were chairs set out in front of the building, and a grassy area with hammocks and free-roaming chickens (???), where people were waiting, either to get into the timed exhibit or for their valet parked car to arrive. We stood with a small crowd of others in a small semi-outdoor entrance room that was pretty cool: walls covered in yellow faux fur and large sunflowers. This exhibit was in 3 parts: A room of hanging empty picture frames and a series of projected words onto up-close, blow-up images from van gogh paintings. This was mostly just reading text. I found this boring and unimaginative. The paragraphs didn't even seem to have an order, which made it confusing. The 2nd part was a small room with some trippy projections that were not van gogh paintings. I wasn't sure what the room was for, but since nothing happened during the few minutes I stayed, I moved onto the next part. Perhaps I missed the most amazing thing here?!?!? The last part was the best, in a large room with projections on all walls and on some free-standing pallets in the middle of the room. The 'show' was pretty good, as the images of paintings were projected blow up and large all around us. I liked getting to see a lot of his self portraits projected from ceiling to floor side by side. I also liked the part where a bunch of his signatures were projected together. Unfortunately, this exhibit did not hold a candle to the other Van Gogh experience in Miami (Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, at the Olympia Theater). The other exhibit had way more content to see and tour before getting to the final big show, plus a 3-d exhibit afterwords. read more

Magical and transportive experience for those able to let the music and visuals take you away. Not for everyone. We absolutely loved every moment. From walking the room during the scene changes to sitting on the floor as it moved underneath you, to taking wonderful headshots and videos. If you read Van Gogh's story in the initial room it allows you to sit in the gallery and see the scenes in real life as he did through his tortured and unique POV. The sadness and beauty in his work comes to life and being in it, you feel it. Valet parking was clutch. read more

First time here, we went on a weekday at 10am ( I highly recommend going early if you want to take pics, this is an older crowd and they are there to enjoy it and they dont hog up the good pic spots BUT they will judge you) def smaller exhibit than I hoped for but it was well done, started on time, they have valet ($20- but worth it because its not the best spot and saves time on looking for parking) they also have a cafe and the food was actually delicious. (They also have alcohol, which is a plus) i do think its a bit pricey but if you wanna do it for the gram, I recommend it. They also have a super cute gift shop! read more

This museum is fantastic; it's a must-see in Miami. I highly recommend seeing the brief documentary movie at the start of the trip. This museum is bursting with great examples of his work! Not to add that moving art is an experience in and of itself. The gift shop also has the cutest souvenirs! The bathrooms are clean and there's enough space for large and small groups. read more

0 Star Service Experience...... I purchased 3 tickets in advance as I was very much looking forward to visiting the exhibition and, unfortunately, my family and I caught a cold less than 72 hours prior to our scheduled visit. When reaching out to "customer service" and explaining my scenario, the rep denied honoring a rescheduling of our visit as this was supposed to be notified 72 hours in advance. I never knew getting sick would provide such notice so that I would be able to notify the event management in advance. Obviously, this was an unforeseen cause, however, management didn't care to offer any other options or be empathetic about the situation. We will never visit any of their events as they do not honor guests who are courteous and do not want to be in a crowd where the spread of this or other virus could affect others. read more

The Beyond Van Gogh management canceled the event due to rain and flooding on Oct 15, 22 in Indio. I purchased tickets for Oct 15 at 4:30 pm. When I got there, I was told they turned off the electricity due to water getting into the tent and gave me a number to call. I called the number and was told to reschedule but would not refund. I was not available to go on another date. I deserve my money back since they canceled the event. Totally unethical! If a concert or event is canceled, any other company would refund. I went and they canceled - end of story. Bad business and bad customer service. Beware. read more

We decided to go...if you have a large empty warehouse, MS Presentation, some old frames you can paint gold, fishing line to hang the DIY frames and a projector, you too can present this elementary exhibit. read more

The exhibit is well worth seeing..it was disappointing no notice was given of the tedious traffic situation..Flagler street and many surrounding streets are closed due to construction..even with Waze we circled around about twenty minutes before figuring out how to even get to the theatre if you are a senior even with a 15.00 valet fee you will have a short walk. They do not have valet right in front of the theatre. On plus side, there are benches inside the show. We went on a weekday at 11;00 and the extra we paid to get right in was unnecessary. Also when you exit the show be sure to go back out Thru the front door..we were ushered out a back door out to a different street and had an even longer walk back to the valet after we figured out which way to go. read more

I honestly feel like this was a scam. There is another Van Gogh museum in Miami that is much more interactive for the same price. This was pretty much just one room with projectors showing the art. Was unable to make my original date because of Hurricane Elsa. I reached out about a possible refund (I'm a student and the tickets were quite expensive, I bought them as a gift for myself for finishing my first year of grad school), and they refused, saying that I could only change the date I wished to attend. A family member then became ill and I had to leave Miami again. I again asked for a refund due to the extreme circumstances, and was again refused, this time a bit more rudely. I understand that there's a "no refund" policy but as someone that has worked in customer service for a long time, I feel that there are some circumstances where it's important to help people, and not do everything in your power to keep their money when horrible, unexpected events prevent them from receiving the service they paid for. Would've appreciated a bit of humanity. I can't comment on the actual experience, since I am unable to go, but I can comment on how much they care about their customers, and the answer seems to be very little, if at all. read more
