My neighbor had a delivery and the driver had parked her vehicle directly across from my driveway. The delivery driver sat in the truck staring at her phone totally ignoring my one short beep of the horn. I waited a few minutes and then beeped again. No movement to let me out. Third beep. No reaction. I proceeded to back out as I was going to pickup my grandson at preschool. It was difficult to get out as I did not want to hit the truck. I left but it was not easy. My wife later told me that the truck sat there for a while after I left. I called the store and they defended the driver. Not only is blocking my driveway ignorant, but it is illegal. Maybe next time this happens perhaps the homeowner will go ahead and hit the delivery truck.
