Throughout the planning process we worked with Michele who was extremely accommodating as due to COVID, our plans changed multiple times throughout. As we neared the day of the event, Michele had the foresight to check the weather and suggest a heater, as the evening temperatures would be getting chilly. The day before the wedding, employees of Eastern Shore were onsite early and setting up. All were very polite, accommodating and professional. Everything we ordered was present, all plates, etc. placed in the kitchen facilities, linens pressed and covered on hangers and tables arranged according to the predesigned set up. Adam and Michele take great pride in their business and are extremely attentive. Do check if Jonathan Mason is the sub contractor providing the bathroom trailer. The trailer was not in working order, and while Michele and Adam's responses were immediate and professional, that of the subcontractors were definitely not. We would highly recommend Eastern Shore Tents and Events for all of your planning needs.

Cabinets contents were marked. There was a dining area and a tv room. The guest bedrooms had twin beds, covered in homemade quilts. There were about 4 to a room. They were close to bathrooms. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and have already booked for next year.

When I asked if I could just take them inside to the location he of course said no. I was dripping with sweat, red as a beet and huffing and puffing for breath. This man started saying things like who are you, where are you from, who are you with , I think your lazy , you don' t belong here, I think you should go home, you have a bad attitude. No one said anything to stand up for me so I stood up for myself! Moving furniture wasn't my job but I did what I had to. I was one of the caterers. The man said I own this place and you need to leave! He married into the business, so he has no bedside manor. I left that day, I'm sure the bride still paid for my services even though I was asked to leave. I think if it wasn't me it would have been someone else that day . This man was on his high horse. I hope his wife reads this because he is mean to women and he shouldn't be allowed to work with the public. He should be grateful for this job! I also lost my job that day, that was my last catering job.

Now onto the food: you have to buy an entire personal pizza instead of a slice. Not a bad thing because it can easily be split between two people or devoured by a very hungry person. After nearly a month of trying to lock in our dates and address some of the finer details we received an email from Nina suggesting that we seek out another photographer or another venue altogether if they weren't moving fast enough for us. We did just that, refusing to beg anyone to take our money. Then today, three months later, we received an email from Nina asking us if we'd like to proceed. I responded to her email telling her we made other arrangements and that I'd be leaving feedback online about our experience with her. Inside we had a fireplace, a tub on the screened back patio, and a porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It was private, quiet, and felt like our own little world. Breakfast in the Manor House was outstanding with fresh eggs from their own chickens, and the daily afternoon tea became one of our favorite parts of the day. We met other guests, enjoyed fresh pastries, and had great conversations with the owners, Dave and Hilari. They are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both hospitality and preserving the history of this place. Talking with them about Brampton's story and their vision was a highlight of our stay. Definitely try their Steampot dinner! It's loaded with fresh local seafood and felt like a true taste of the Eastern Shore. The property itself is beautiful to walk with gardens, meadows, and wildlife everywhere.
