Whoever gave this wonderful establishment 2 stars is very wrong this is definitely a 5 star…read morebusiness A very clean and organized place , Dancemakers is a wonderful and very classy and caring dance studio and school for children after school, From Mrs. Samantha helping the children getting smart and preparing them for the future to Ms. BEVERLY CARING FOR the children and being there for them, and The CEO Ms.Robin have a awesome heart AMD compassion that doesn't compare to anyone, If you want your child to succeed in life and to start to love dancing this is the place and if you want them to be very respectful and turn out to be young nice men and woman this is the place, I know Robin and Beverly and Samantha are God fearing woman, When my child attended there she loved it . Please let's stop talking and judging our black owned business when you give bad reviews and talk bad we destroying one another, Also we are stopping her or any black own business income and families sheand they are feeding with jobs and support without customers and business places like this won't survive....I give Dancemakers 5 stars and Seesaw couture as well Stay Blessed Always Think Positively

My daughter's regular teacher was great but she got a substitute one day and she was absolutely horrible with the little ones. Someone stole my 3 year old daughter's tap shoes while she was in class and I had to buy another pair instead of the school accepting responsibility for it. The end of year dance recital is rip-off. 100 for a costume, 80 for a participation fee, 25-30 per ticket, and they tell parents about this 2 weeks before the recital. Let my daughter stay in for the entire class year but next year she went elsewhere

I used to come here a lot more as a college student, but I made my triumphant return to see the infamous Gamer Symphony Orchestra perform... it's been over a decade! I love live orchestras and I love video game music, so it's the perfect combination. I was able to get my tickets ahead online, and just had to show my QR code to the staff upon arrival. Everything was organized and you could either grab a physical program or scan the QR code for a digital one. As many shows as I've been to... they've all been in Dekelboum Concert Hall. It's a beautiful room with plenty of middle seating, side seating and balcony seating. The stage has two levels -- one for the instruments and an upper level for the choir. What a lovely sight! CSPAC has other rooms, and even a library... there's a lot to see outside of just shows! There are plenty of options for parking, but they are all different! The closest are some spots that require parallel parking -- some are metered, and some are a part of Lot 1b that are free after a certain time (and always on weekends). There's a garage that is enforced until midnight daily. And then there's the broader Lot 1b with plenty of parking spaces... but you do have to walk a bit. Might not be so fun if there's inclement weather. CSPAC (yes, I'm still gonna call it that) is a great venue for shows, and you should definitely swing by!

My nephew is a passionate, energetic, competitive, HIGHLY intelligent (you know, that kind of kid…read morethat asks you huge existential/meaning of life questions while waiting in line at the drugstore) kiddo. The Lab has become his second home. I am SO SO thankful that he has found this community and art form. Breaking provides him with a creative outlet to be both competitive, and an expressive individual while maintaining an over all positive and supportive team outlook. He is no longer crushed by 'loosing'. He appreciates the skills of others and the teachers and older students both support and challenge him. His confidence, humility, physical strength, focus, patience, and empathy have grown enormously. As he is obsessed with break dancing he now has ways of connecting and learning about many other related topics. He has traveled to new cities to watch break dancing, he asks his uncle (my husband - a music producer) about the musical and cultural history of break beats. I also love that The Lab has exposed my nephew to teachers and mentors who externally are different from him (and our immediate family). He is meeting and learning from people of different ages, gender identies, races, creeds etc. Having a diversity of role models and teachers in your formative years is so important! Please keep doing what your doing 'The Lab'! Sincerely, A very appreciative Aunt P.S. It should be noted that The Lab has 29 "unrecommened" Yelp reviews, and they are ALL 5 starts.

After hearing of the institute threw several friends whose children attend, I decided to try a week of summer camp for my 6 year old which concluded in a showcase performance. I was absolutely impressed and more so appreciative to have finally found a dance home for my 3 kids! In the last 2 years we have enrolled in at least 4 of the local dance companies looking for a company within which my children can grown and develop REAL skills...not just jumping around for fun. PMDI proves to cultivate talent and drive as well as discipline and skill in a really fun and loving environment. The counselors are not only talented but genuinely care about the kids. I was pleased to find them all calling my daughter by name even though many did not instruct her age group. I have wanted and have now found a community where my kid feel like she is joining a family. It's a place where I know I will get an honest report of behavior as well as progress and talent. They teach discipline and life skills and Dance skills coupled with a love for the arts. its just great. And the test of any dance company, in my opinion, is how the oldest students carry themselves and the level of dance skill they exhibit. The oldest students (12-18) in the showcase demonstrated great command of isolations, choreography, strength and poise leaving me confident that my kids will graduate the company as dancers with audition and presentation and choreography skills not just dance skills. I'm happy!! very happy!

My daughter really enjoyed the dance lessons and the family atmosphere that exists there. I loved the big performance at the end of the season... of course I have the disc. It's more than worth the money - with her extensive background, it's a steal! My younger daughter is next!
