DMV Best Pole Facility I love a business that listens to their clientele and implements change. Revisiting this review as a few changes have been made. If you're coming to the facility for the first time, I suggest using Google Maps as it will direct you right to the parking lot. Arrive at least 5 minutes early for class, to allow time for sign in and changing. This is temporary but for now, make sure to use the restroom prior to arrival. Sign in procedures have been updated, and are very COVID friendly. There is a QR code that you scan at the door to sign in, and complete tour Covid questionnaire. Additionally, the unstable free standing pole was removed; so no more flying beginners. My Body Shop is the perfect place for woman looking for a release and find their inner confidence. It's a no judgment zone, for you to challenge yourself and grow. The staff is friendly and really cares about the facility and clients. Looking forward to signing up for a membership soon with Maeli whose super helpful and always on the ball.

Let me tell you ! I highly recommend! Sunny was so much fun and an amazing instructor! She fit me and my guests in at the last minute and she accommodated us to the fullest! I definitely learned some skills that I can take with me!

Almost 7 months in and I was able to hit one of my pole goals recently. The butterfly. Such a pretty move

My daughter's regular teacher was great but she got a substitute one day and she was absolutely horrible with the little ones. Someone stole my 3 year old daughter's tap shoes while she was in class and I had to buy another pair instead of the school accepting responsibility for it. The end of year dance recital is rip-off. 100 for a costume, 80 for a participation fee, 25-30 per ticket, and they tell parents about this 2 weeks before the recital. I don't want my kids dancing with adults. It seems to be very disorganized and some of the teachers seem like they're not even qualified to be teaching the things that they're teaching. I'm not sure what the instructors are making, but it can't be much because the quality of the studio is obviously low even the location is not great. There's so many studios in the DMV area. Definitely go elsewhere. My advice to the studio would be to get more instructors that can actually fill enough classes to have different aged classes until then I won't be coming. This is 100% on the owner by the way to fix .

We just had a blast every single lesson. He gave us options for steps and helped us build a dance we were comfortable with, was interesting, and totally customized to our song. He helped us get so comfortable with the steps and, as we got better, gave us tips to improve even more and flourishes to make the dance a bit more engaging for the audience. Having been a part of many weddings, he's full of helpful tips in general for the wedding, like how to walk on and off after the dance, where my husband should go when we transition to father/daughter dance, and to remember to smile especially during the finale. It definitely shows that he has worked with a lot of couples with their wedding dances, but also has officiated weddings himself, so he has so much helpful knowledge! We had so much fun with Michael and wholeheartedly recommend!

He would even record us on our phone so we could practice at home. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend!

I just wish there were more classes and levels offered within the cirque membership. It's been great working with the current instructors. Though I miss many of the old instructors, each instructor - old and new - brings their own uniqueness and fun to the studio.

I purchased a package of yoga classes from Groupon. The owner was kind enough to apply the package to my account, which I appreciated. Originally, I was supposed to be able to book the classes directly through Groupon, but I was unable to do so. Not a big deal. However, what is a big deal, is the fact that on the same day that the package was applied to my account, I informed the owner that I would be attending a class. I registered for the class and everything through the app. It is nice that they have their own app. However, Things started to crumble when I actually arrived. I register for the class less than two hours before it started. Actually, I think it was within an hour. When I arrived, there was no greeting when I entered the building. There was a young woman sitting at a desk on a computer. I informed her it was my first time and asked what I needed to do. She checked me in, but said nothing else. She didn't indicate if I should wait, go back to the class, what was going on. So, I sat down next to another woman who had a yoga mat. About 10 minutes later, and definitely after the scheduled start of class, another woman came in with a yoga mat and proceeded to walk right through the door next to the desk. At that point, we realize that maybe we were able to go back. So, we started to. However, in order to get to the back room where yoga is held, you have to walk-through to pole/chair dancing classes. I hate walking through other people's classes that are actively taking place. But whatever. It would've been fine if we hadn't been made to wait because they were recording videos of the dancers.Like... I'm already late. PLEASE. So, we eventually find our way to the yoga room, which is really a pole room but it has enough space for yoga. As soon as we entered, an instructor made note of the fact that we would not be needing our yoga mats today. I was immediately annoyed and confused. Why would I not need a yoga mat for a yoga class? It was at that point that she informed us that we would be participating in a "chair one "class because the yoga instructor asked her to sub. Now, remember, when I said that I had just booked the class? You don't think the owner knew this? You don't think she should've maybe mentioned that to me as the person who clearly had signed up for yoga for a reason? And the chair one class was nothing like what I had hoped for. It was not a chair dance class. It was a "cardio" class for people with mobility issues. Based on the looks of things, nobody in that class had mobility issues. I was so tight. I ended up doing all of the exercises standing up because I was already there and needed to work out. I absolutely left with an attitude. However, I try to give small businesses, grace. I came back the next week. And when I did, I experienced a yoga flow that was confusing, and not relaxing at all. In fact, during the entire flow, you could hear the ex excessively loud and upbeat music from the chair and pole classes. And, the instructor kept having issues with the sound during our session. I did not like the flow, I did not like the cues. This wouldn't have even been a good intro to yoga class for someone who has never done it before. There was just too much unprofessional behavior here. And I absolutely would not recommend.
