I have seen her a couple of times now at the North Shore Immediate Care in Mount Prospect, IL. In between the physical visits, we had a teleconference. In between those, she answered messages via their system. In the past 4 years I have returned to the Chicagoland area, I have seen at least 5 doctors for the same ailments. Each did not meet the basic needs of making me feel as if I were even at the appointment or heard a word I said. Additionally, one doctor said I did not have heart disease (Cardiologist) another said I did. (General Practitioner) As a retired Massage Therapist myself, I know communication is vital to making any decision. Dr. S is on the ball. Not only am I happy she came to that location, but have that feeling of..." finally ". She includes me in the conversation and asks my opinion. She is a Doctor with a higher level of people skills than the others. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking quality care. I also enjoy the fact, she has a sense of humor and can banter. I'm so glad I did!! The office is SO nice and inviting. The decor is modern, the reception staff were polite and helpful, the nurses we SO nice and Dr. Lacuesta was very nice as well. Plus, their whole records system was computerized so my prescription was immediately sent to my insurance service and mailed to my house within days (normal timeframe). When I tried to ask questions about serious side effects from a prescribed medication, I was spoken to rudely and even yelled at. I've personally known someone who died from complications due to medication side effects, so I take this seriously. I called the office seven times trying to get a safer alternative, and each time I was either ignored, misunderstood, or given another medication with severe side effects. Instead of showing concern, they made me feel like a burden for simply wanting treatment that won't put my health at risk -- especially considering my age and medical history. I was brought to tears by how I was treated. I am absolutely done with this office and will never return. It's clear that they prioritize speed over safety, do not take individual risks or age into account, and have no interest in genuinely communicating with or supporting their patients.

I leave, and then notice they're OLD results. I go in, tell them this. They say ok well we never got your results. Then you saying that the doctor would call me with my results 2 days ago was all made up? Okay. They make me wait and finally after an hour I get my results.
