Anyway, the last time I saw him he asked me what i was allergic to. I told him the antibiotics name, then he gave me the perscription which was actually an antibiotic from the same family of drugs. I ended up going to the ER because I had an anaphalactic reaction and almost died. I called him to tell him about it and about the 6,000 dollar hospital bill I had but he simply said he couldnt help me and hung up the phone in my face. I called a lawyer but non would take my case because the hospital bill was not large enough. My credit went from having a 24,000 credit card limit to a zero limit, all because of that hospital bill. 1# he didnt diagnose me correctly, 2# gave me med i was allergic to. 3# I almost died, 4# my credit was ruined because Im still a student and i couldnt and still cant pay the hospital bill. When I tried to ask questions about serious side effects from a prescribed medication, I was spoken to rudely and even yelled at. I've personally known someone who died from complications due to medication side effects, so I take this seriously. I called the office seven times trying to get a safer alternative, and each time I was either ignored, misunderstood, or given another medication with severe side effects. Instead of showing concern, they made me feel like a burden for simply wanting treatment that won't put my health at risk -- especially considering my age and medical history. None of the doctors knew him by name after 10 years of patronage, but I didn't really expect them too. We saw different Drs. Each time we went there. Upon expecting my second child I decided to go see Dr. Samuel, as I heard such wonderful things about him. It was the best parenting decision I made! It is apparent from your first visit that he loves what he does, he knows what he's talking about and he truly cares for his patients! I Now have 3 kids and moved about an hour away and I wouldn't dream of changing doctors!! He not only knows my kids names, he knows their history and truly cares about them!
