Dr. Al-Kadari has been professional and a caring surgeon treating my mother's necrotizing fasciitis…read morethroat abscess. She is almost fully recovered from her surgery the first week of October 2021 and Dr. Al-Kadari informed us he expects my mother to be back to 100% by Thanksgiving or Christmas 2021. This was only my second time meeting with Al-Kadari even though he was the main surgeon on my mother's case and she spent 3+ weeks in the hospital at Rush Medical Center. Since her hospital discharge October 20th, we have had three post-op visits with his associate, Ashley Knies. Ashley appeared nervous, insecure, and all around lacking intelligence. Our first visit with her she did nothing besides prescribe more opiates. Our second visit she remover the bandage but did not feel comfortable replacing my mother's wound vac stating she did not have proper supplies or bandages. Luckily, our home healthcare nurse, Sarah helped me pack/prepare the wound vac for the post-op visit, in addition to extra bandages. I tried to hand the bag with the wound vac to Ashley but she shook her head nervously so instead I handed a bandage to Ashley who emphasized, "I wish we had these, our bandages are not near as good as these." After our visit, I reviewed the appointment notes in "MyChart" and was shocked to see Ashley wrote we failed to bring my mother's wound vac to the appointment, which is an outright lie! Moreover, let's pretend we had not brought the wound vac or bandages, why are these supplies not at the hospital? Are they truly lacking necessary medical supplies or is it simply Ashley's incompetence placing blame elsewhere?

She agreed but I had to take a urine test. I received the results back the next day and the RX I use could not be found. She said that happens but I had to take it again. No problem. That was well over a week ago and my professional life is suffering. She insist the govt "audits" her for these test. This is BS. They think I'm a junky (even though I don't do any drugs and am randomly get tested by the company I work for). There are a few great docs there (Fair, Chan and the NGP) but I'm not a happy camper. Good luck out there my friends!

Dr. Kelly is a godsend! My parent's were referred to Dr. Kelly after their doctor re-focused most…read moreof his time on hospital administration. Personally, I think it was the best thing that ever happened to them. My parents are older and have had their fair share of health crises over the years - cancer, staph, pneumonia, asthma you name it - and Dr. Kelly has always treated them right. My mom, suffers from severe asthma, and often has respiratory-related scares. Dr. Kelly has been fabulous at squeezing her in for a quick check rather than unloading her on the nearest ER. Dr. Kelly earns a fifth star from me for going above and beyond the call of duty. She makes house calls, you heard me, house calls! My dad had a knee replacement a few years back and was working with his physical therapist to get back on track; Dr. Kelly decided he wasn't progressing enough and could benefit from more therapy. Instead of offloading these increased sessions on the therapist she came to their house and worked with my dad. It was amazing and so appreciated by my mom since getting my dad out in the middle of winter while he was unsteady on his feet was not only a chore, but very anxiety ridden. I think now enough time has passed that he'll admit how beneficial this was to his recovery. At the time he winced at the thought, she's a tough cookie and really made him work. Bottom line: Dr. Kelly is amazing! My parents can't say enough good things about her and trust me, my dad is a tough customer, he won't sing the praises of just anyone. Even though I live relatively close, knowing that she's treating them puts my mind at ease, she really seems to care about her patients and get them the best care possible.

First: her receptionist gal is constantly on the phone with her boyfriend and not paying attention. I stood at the receptionist desk, waiting for her to get off of the phone, with my insurance card in hand for several minutes before she got off the phone. She then handled checking in like I was intruding with my presence. Weird, but I knew from other reviews that the staff here were strange. The real reason for my negative review is that, in my two visits 6 or so months apart, I was mis-billed both times. They also fought me both times on the fact that, according to them, I wasn't mis-billed. Wrong. The first time, I had to be on the phone for a long time before it was conceded that I should never have received a bill in the first place. Annoying, but it was my first time, so maybe just a fluke. The second time, I went in so that I could get an insurance form (that explicitly says I should not be billed) filled out with my health stats and get some blood work done. No big deal. Instead, I receive a bill three months later. Confused, I call the doctor's office. As soon as I say "I received a bill", I am instantly cut off and told to call the billing service. I call the billing service to inquire about the bill. The billing rep, who was lovely, says she'll call the doctor's office to clarify. Okay - fine by me. The next day, I received a very rude voicemail from a nurse on the doctor's staff, saying that she's returning my call to billing service via a bill for this "ridiculous process that she's never heard of in all her years of nursing", as she goes on about this form that she shows in her voicemail that she doesn't actually understand. I'm confused as to why she's so hostile, but I reluctantly call back quickly because it needs to be straightened out. The same nurse who left me the voicemail answers my call. After 15 minutes of me saying that the insurance form explicitly states that I shouldn't be charged and her arguing hotly with me about it (and still calling the form and insurance process "ridiculous" and "stupid"), I finally get her to look at the form and read what it says. She reads to me that it says I shouldn't be charged and then grudgingly says she'll call the billing service with this information and call me back. (This also shows that she didn't look in my file to see what form this whole debacle was about.) She calls me back quickly (to her credit), saying that she has sent the form to the billing service and that they are going to call the insurance to see how they should bill it. She then continues on her previous rant about how she's never seen anything like this and how ridiculous and dumb this form is and she doesn't see why this is necessary. Obviously, I felt it was necessary because I made a separate trip into a doctor's office to get it done. I certainly don't need my (responsible) health choices ridiculed by someone who is a career health professional. I end the call quickly and am still waiting to hear how the insurance will handle this. In short: This office and its staff have showed themselves to be incompetent or incredibly, unconscionably lazy, as well as rude. I've never had this many issues with a doctor's office or been treated so rudely by staff. I will most certainly be going to another doctor's office for the rest of my time living in the Chicago area and recommend that others do the same.

Would absolutely recommend anyone become a patient of Dr. Krishnan. The only negative thing I have to say is that it can be difficult to get an appointment through Edward/Elmhurst/Endeavor, and their billing is awful. BUT I can't blame the physician for that, and when we first started at Elmhurst hospital it was not the corporate conglomerate it has become, she is the only reason we have stayed with that organization. If she leaves EEHealth we will be leaving as well.

I've always had amazing treatment. She answers all of my questions in terminology easy for me to understand. She's an extraordinary intelligent Doctor with human values. Apart from dedication , she also has slight wit which impresses me more resulting in great relief from stress while chatting with her. Although she's a great medical professional she definitely understands that your mental health affects your physical and encourages her patients to be mindful of their mental health. Please try her out you won't be disappointed.
