I am a mom of three. As I had no other option I took my kids for a visit with me. I thought it wouldn't be much of a problem as Dr Budziakowska is also a pediatrician. The way she welcomed me in the office was just RUDE and MEAN. No "Hello" or "Welcome". Her face expression was horrifying. First thing she said was that she did not want to see my children on my visit ever again, she didn't want to have anything to do with them and that she was not going to babysit them and watch them all the time. She said all this in a very mean and angry tone of voice. I repeated her twice that I was their mom and she didn't have to watch them at all. I was there to do it!!! I told her that I understood her disapproval but everything could be said in a humanlike way!!! My three-year-old twins were sitting quietly on one chair. They were sometimes talking to each other. Come on, these are just kids!! They were waiting for this visit more than an hour!!!! Of course they would be a little bored by this time. The doctor was commenting on them all the time. Rudely as from the beginning. I finally asked her: "Are you really a pediatrician? I am very shocked and surprised you still have any patients" How can someone with this attitude and this behavior have anything to do with children???!!! I've seen mommies with small children waiting the same amount of time as I did. Really? When I go to my kids' doctor the wait time is 5-10 minutes tops!! And after waiting for so long you are being welcomed in this fashion? Words can't express what happened today. I don't really care about myself but when someone is behaving toward my kids this way I won't let this happen. Trust me, they're not some spoiled little brats. I'm a pretty restrictive mom. They know they can't run around or yell in places like this. And even if they forget (what is normal at their age I would say) I would discipline them. Before she came in I even told them to nicely say "good afternoon" to a doctor. Guess what? She even didn't let them do this. She scared them from the first moment and shocked me at the same time. It probably was my first time when I was actually speechless. :)) I couldn't believe it actually came out of her mouth. I understand they're only 3 & 1 but you should always treat people the way you want to be treated. I am not even commenting on the quality of her job. She didn't want to listen to my concerns. She was just yelling she wasn't going to write referrals to whatever patients wanted. I told her the way she welcomed me and my kids was just inappropriate and asked her if this was the way of treating all her patients. I was all just shacking out of my nerves. Twice before today I had appointments at this office but instead of seeing Dr Budziakowska I saw her husband, a very nice person. She asked me today who was I to see, told me to decide who was my doctor. I answered that she was my PCP but those two times when I called she wasn't there. She responded that I should set my appointments only the time she's there, not any way I wanted. I told her that if I feel a severe pain I am not going to wait until her Highness is at work. I make my appointments when needed! In Poland we treat each other with curtesy. If we go to public places and talk to people we don't know we don't call them by their name. we say Mr and Mrs out of respect... and she was talking to me like to a schoolgirl that just got a bad grade! I don't care if I am 20 or 30 years younger then Dr Budziakowska. I demand the same respect I give to her!!! I I don't understand what her problem is but maybe she's just a victim of routine and doesn't care about her patients anymore. Maybe she forgot the communism time is far over. She is being paid for each visit and each patient for God sake! In my opinion people like this shouldn't practice medicine. I'm pretty sure they should be of a good moral character which she's definitely not! Never in my entire life either here or Poland I was so mistreated at the doctor's office EVER!!!! This experience was just HORRID!!!! My best friend also saw her one time. She came with the breast problem while nursing and she took her 5-day-old with her. She didn't even see her because she came with the kid. My friend got very angry with Dr Budziakowska, after sitting for at least one hour in the waiting room she was dismissed!!! I didn't want to believe this until today!!! I've been recently reading bedtime stories to my kids. When we left the building my three-year-old daughter asked me : "Mom, was this the witch?" I think this sums up everything. My kids were just scared of her!!! I'm so glad I did!! The office is SO nice and inviting. The decor is modern, the reception staff were polite and helpful, the nurses we SO nice and Dr. Lacuesta was very nice as well. Plus, their whole records system was computerized so my prescription was immediately sent to my insurance service and mailed to my house within days (normal timeframe). When I tried to ask questions about serious side effects from a prescribed medication, I was spoken to rudely and even yelled at. I've personally known someone who died from complications due to medication side effects, so I take this seriously. I called the office seven times trying to get a safer alternative, and each time I was either ignored, misunderstood, or given another medication with severe side effects. Instead of showing concern, they made me feel like a burden for simply wanting treatment that won't put my health at risk -- especially considering my age and medical history. I was brought to tears by how I was treated. I am absolutely done with this office and will never return. It's clear that they prioritize speed over safety, do not take individual risks or age into account, and have no interest in genuinely communicating with or supporting their patients.

I was sick and tired of other doctors doing the tests insurance covered and telling me "I am at the low end of normal." Feeling like crap isn't normal, and it wasn't acceptable. In my case, he identified several overlapping issues that were all exacerbating each other. Figuring out the correct treatment required unraveling all the knots to come to a successful outcome, but he figured it out! You will never sit for an hour or two in the waiting room. At longest, on only one or two occasions, I waited 10 minutes. The Saturday hours are critical if you don't have the luxury of being able to take off from work.
