Dwight was our salesman. He is extremely happy and approachable. He really tries his best for his customers. He is constantly mindful of peoples time and will run to get things done quickly. However, syed (manager) was one of the most unprofessional and Rude sales people I have ever met. Most people in sales would try to sell to the customer. This guy, from the moment we stepped in, was rude, snarky, and disrespectful. We asking about information regarding fees, Syed stated, "I'm not done, wait until I'm done" after he had paused in his statement. He also said, "you cannot have a copy" of a document he was requesting my signature on. Regarding the fees, he told me that there is nowhere that is is listed in our documents and that "I would have to just trust him" (after he had already been rude and disrespectful!). On another note, despite the fact that he was rude and disrespectful to me, he did not treat my significant other with the same disrespect and rudeness. He still displayed some type of negative attitude towards us but it was not to the extent that he did towards me. If it wasn't for Dwight and his amazing customer service, and the pricing of the car, I wouldn't have made the sale simply for the rudeness I endured. Lastly, the finance manager was extremely funny and down to earth. He was very sociable and encouraged us to communicate with him rather than just business. Car has black paint streaks and damage to it, chrome cracked and bent on bumper, along with sensor not fixed aesthetically (which I was reassured would not happen) , is not in all the way and paint chipped around it, bouncing all over the place, like a boat going over rocky water, still clunking and barely stays on the road. Front end dipping and bouncing. I went to the dealer because I wanted the work done right. I've paid hundreds in rental fees and now will have to bring it somewhere else and pay again to get it fixed. I do not trust my car there after there is black paint marks all over it and a dent. Looks like they backed into something and hit the side and tailgate. Emailed, called and text and no follow up since April 15th. read more

The customer service at Balise is HORRIBLE. I have had four vehicles serviced there over the last 20 years. It used to be a good company but, unfortunately, it has really gone downhill over the last couple of years. Most recently, I made an appointment for a simple oil change/tire rotation. I explained that I would drop the vehicle off late in the afternoon on Tuesday and pick it up on Wednesday -- and I made clear that I needed it back by 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. I was assured that this would not be a problem. When I dropped the vehicle off, the service rep volunteered that he was aware that I needed the vehicle by 1:30 the next day. He said that this would not be a problem, as my car would be the first one in the next day. He said that the service rep handling the vehicle would be Alexandra, and shortly thereafter I received a text confirming that information. The next day, I called Alexanda shortly before 1:30 to confirm that the vehicle was ready. Alexandra said that they were backed up and that the vehicle would not be ready until later in the day. She said she had tried to call me to let me know this. When I asked what "tried to call" meant, she said she had left me a voicemail. In fact, there was no voicemail and no other communication from Balise that day. When I asked why the vehicle wasn't ready -- even though I had explicitly stated that I needed it by 1:30 and even though the car was at Balise from the moment they had opened that morning -- she replied that she didn't know that I needed it by 1:30. She claimed she was unaware that I needed the vehicle by 1:30 -- even though: 1) the rep whom I spoke with when I dropped the vehicle off confirmed that it would be ready by then; and 2) she had just admitted that she had tried to call me to advise me that they were backed up and the vehicle would not be ready until later in the afternoon. Incompetence is bad, but lying just makes its worse. Unfortunately, I have had several similar experiences at Balise in the recent past. Against my better judgment, I thought I would give them one more chance. That proved to be a mistake. read more

This is actually a follow-up to another review we made. Last year my husband went to this shop to have his truck looked at. Long story short, they kept it all weekend, told my husband the next week that they couldn't find the issue, but it turned out they never moved it out of the parking space it was in. We weren't happy. The manager tried to rectify this to my husband by giving him a free oil change for wasting his time, as well as lying to him. Fast forward to this morning! My disabled veteran husband and his service dog went in for the free oil change. Only it turns out, that manager is gone now, and he made no note of this in my husband's file! The current manager wouldn't listen to the story, or honor what had happened. This service shop is run by liars (as previously shown, when they told my husband they couldn't pin point the issue, but turned out they never even TOUCHED his car all weekend) as well as cheap people, who refuse to honor their previous mistakes. This was an $80,000 truck that he ordered, and every time we have come to this place, there's an issue. He walked in, a disabled veteran, IN A UNIFORM, and lied to his face. And now today, wouldn't even honor their word to rectify it. I can promise you, my husband's integrity is far above the average person, and he'd never ask for something for free if it wasn't already promised. Horrendous experience! From the beginning, they had absolutely no idea what they were doing or what they were talking about. Yet, I still agreed to buy a car and explained exactly what the plan was for down payment, etc. Got all the way to the end, after signing all of the paperwork and then was told we couldn't pay as planned. I walked out. I asked for the GM to call me to discuss, never happened. I called and spoke to a sales manager, who was extremely rude and dismissive. He promised to look into the issue and call me back or have the GM call me back, never happened. I finally called again and spoke to the GM and surprise, surprise, he knew nothing of what happened. When I explained to him what happened, he could not have cared less. I would absolutely NEVER buy a vehicle from them after this experience. In the past 6 months my husband has paid over 10,000 in repairs to my Chevy and the customer service was very dissapointing in the service department. If you go in close to someone's end of shift, they will literally walk away from you or leave you standing in the lobby area until someone else can take care of you. My first visit I paid for diagnostic testing and then almost 6,000 in repairs, picked up my car, not cleaned or vacuumed, no floor mat protector and smelly. They finally get the recall part a couple of months later and I schedule that appointment and I told them the engine light came back on again would they check that out? Iwas told yes, no problem. They call and tell me the recall work has been completed, I asked what was wrong with engine light (thinking it could have been related to the recall issue) she say I don't know, we didn't diagnose that it will be 180.00! Less than 4 months ago I paid almost 6,000 dollars and you cannot tell me why my engine light is on without and ADDITIONAL charge? OK, please diagnose my car. Of course its going to be anothe whopper 4,500 dollars, and I get the work done,pick up my car again, dirty, not vacuumed or even mat protected and smelled. Worst customer service in their service department book an appointment 3 weeks out because that's the first available they don't get to it the day we booked no calls no communications until I called and they say oh it's "On Deck" for a technician three days later haven't even looked at it. Some of the issues include: - unwillingness to honor an appt scheduled online - pretending to honor an appt but actually planning to overcharge and dish out arrogance - double charges for labor at $130 for an hour or less bc they are "a flat rate shop" (so if they work for 15 minutes, it's $130. If they work for 61 minutes, it's $260--- these are labor costs only... parts will be additional) - overcharging for standard repairs (Charged $400 for an oil change, Stabili-trak wire, and "diagnosing" that rotors may be warped-- didn't include cost to repair) -Offered to change my standard wipers for $70+ - Did not disclose costs prior to doing the $400 of "work" - rude, unprofessional, arrogant, unapologetic, cold If you don't mind over paying for a lack of customer service and double the labor costs, then come here. read more

I purchased a Chevy Silverado at this dealer 3 years ago. Good truck at a very good price. Many small mistakes made by the dealer during this process. I eventually got these resolved and brought the vehicle in for its first service. Waited for 2+ hours for an oil change, even though I had an appointment. Same thing for second service, except that a nail was found in the tire. Balise "didn't have time" to fix that, so they sent my wife on her way with a bad tire. The employees at this location always seem to be dismissive of the customer. It is almost like they are doing you a favor by talking to you. After having a previous issue with my truck they supposedly fixed under warranty I was unable to pass inspection because of the same issue. Makes me wonder if they even originally fixed the problem to begin with. Anyways after multiple voicemails and finding the right person I was told it was covered. So now to my appointments and turns out after a year they apparently don't warranty anything since it was under warranty. The staff was friendly and welcoming but I was disappointed that they wouldn't honor my free scheduled maintenance. I have a 39-month lease with 2-yrs of included scheduled maintenance. This 2 years expired in mid-May and while I was 2 months over that time period, I had tried to bring it in on multiple occasions prior to the 2 yr. mark but was told I couldn't because they go by the oil life percentage. In May, I was already over the amount of miles that indicates an oil change is needed (per the sticker on the window) but because the oil life wasn't below 20%, they wouldn't take it. By the time the oil life finally hit 20%, I was already over the scheduled oil change mileage by about 7,000 miles (which means it had probably been about 12,000 miles since my last oil change). I understand it was after the 2 yr. mark but this oil life percent system just seemed a little fishy and seemed like their way of getting out of doing a fair amount of oil changes during the first two years. Good customer service would have been to look at my account, see that I had only had 2 oil changes in the 2 years (again, due to the oil life percent not due to me not taking care of the vehicle's maintenance), realize it was only 2 months after the 2 yr. mark, and waive the fee. read more

Avoid Balise!!!! I asked for a price for a new car out the door, with all the fees, taxes, etc.. I received an email with this price. I called the salesman to make an appointment for Saturday and I told him that I had already applied for financing through AAA and it would be approved by Saturday. I went on Saturday with my husband to sign the Purchase Agreement. At this point, the salesman told me the car would be $ 1000 more since I did not finance through GMAC, or I could finance through GMAC for a higher interest rate than I already received through AAA. I asked to speak to the sales manager. I said they should honor their price, financing through GMAC was not mentioned in the email I received or in the phone conversation I had with the salesman. This place has the shittiest customer service I've experienced at an auto dealership. Once they've made the sale they could care less. Here's one of my examples... Bought a $48,000 truck from them last summer. Called to order 2 rear seat belt adjusters for my kids so the chest strap doesn't cut their necks. Cost about $6 ea. Parts guy would not order them unless I drove there and prepaid for them then I'd have to drive back in a few days to pick them up. WTH? How about save me a trip buddy? Nope! I just brought my car into the service department to see if the warranty covered braes and air conditioning. I was told I had to authorize them to spend $130.00 for the brakes and $250.00 for the AC. In other words, they wanted me to spend $380.00 to have warranty items fixed. To put that into perspective, you an get a recharge with dye on your AC for about $100-$150. This place is a scam at every level. From purchase to the end of my warranty they have done nothing but try to nickel and dime every interaction to get my money. So I do with any good consumer would do and ask what would be their best and final price prior to me in this time of covered to go look and I was told it is what it is that's the best.. Now we know what everybody should think about used car salesman politicians in lawyers because we know whatever comes out of their mouth can't be trusted and two days later they drop the price by about 300 to $400 can't remember the exact and they don't think that I should be upset because they tried to screw me out of 400 bucks balise corporate office said that's what the general managers do and they support them... So just a little more information for the next time you go shopping and you think to yourself wow how is this salesman screwing me today here at Belise Auto... Because I don't know too many people they would think losing 300 or $400 to a salesman is the way to go.. They were rude, Finance manager was yelling at people on the phone, I had to wait every time I went there even with an appointment, they hire people with questionable backgrounds, they won't budge on price, they offer less than book value for trade-ins, they used non-manufacture approved oil in my car, they told me services were done to my car that weren't, they asked me to finance through them to save money and the interest rate was higher than what I had been pre-approved through my bank and I ended up with 4 "hard Inquiries" on my credit report, that was not nice at all. I could go on but you get the point, there are many dealerships out there, it's a big purchase, do your research, find one that gives you all you deserve, sadly this was not the one for me, I will never go back, and will never send anyone there. The two stars are for Nikki. She should honestly just run the place because she was doing a better job than anyone we could see. My boss and I went to look at a truck, the sales manager came out to look at the vehicle my boss was trading in (it had a couple of dime sized rust bubbles on the hood which still had the paint on top and a ding in the drivers side) the manager immediately told him that he wasn't planning on giving him what they discussed. So, before we've even seen the truck we already have a sour taste. Truck shows up, it looked like someone cleaned it during an air raid siren in France in the 40's. There was a rod knock, some rust under the body, a rotted tie rod end and a blown wheel bearing. Now for 33000 dollars not what you expect especially after being told you aren't going to get what you were offered for the car. We left, no truck and a waste of a work day. There were a lot of things that should have been addressed before we saw it. The wheel bearing and tie rod end really got to me. Very expensive and they took forever. I made an appointment a week ahead of time, but when I brought it in, they took almost two days to begin to look at it. Why do they book appointments if they don't keep them. Would make an appointment with a doctor and then wait almost two days? At a dealership, I understand you will pay more, but it is also understood that they will parts on hand, or will get them easily. However, it took from Thursday until the next Wednesday for my car to be made whole. They also tried to sell me a bunch of other things that my regular mechanic can take care of for half the price--does it really cost $110 to replace a pair of wiper blades? I am glad that they fixed the problems, and that the most expensive part was under warranty, but I would not go back unless there were no other options. read more

Go to pick up it's ,they tell me they discounted the 138 charge for Diagnosing the vehicle. But want to charge me 525 to pick vehicle up. Explain that math to me ! I end up paying the 473. I have been dealing with Balise for over five years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The number one reason I go there is their Service Department. I usually work with Barnett Chou and he is wonderful. He truly looks out for the customer. I was helped in my selection by Gary Provencher and he was great. All questions were answered and if I have any trouble in setting my buttons, or anything all I have to do is call him. He introduced me to the rest of the team and made me feel very comfortable. This was my first time at this location. I only went here because it's not too far from where I live and Balise Hyundai doesn't do inspections. They have a bunch of service bays along side the building so it didn't take long for me to be greeted and given direction as to where I should go. When I entered the front desk area of service, I was surprised to see 7 stations across a long counter, with people waiting to give service. I was greeted immediately by David who shook my hand as he introduced himself. Within a few minutes of joking and small talk, he gave me an estimate of about 45 minutes because there were a few people ahead of me. I was ushered into the large waiting area with hot coffee at the ready and a flat screen. They also had two computers available for you to browse the interwebs while you wait. Seating was comfy with a living room set and some bar chairs and tables, along with a small section with toys for kiddos. About 20 minutes into my wait, someone came up and asked me if they could get me anything, to which I politely declined. The inspection took about 15 minutes longer than I was told to expect, but I didn't mind. I appreciated their service so far. David informed me my car had passed with flying colors and suggested I take it out and reward it for doing so well. With a parting handshake, I was on my way. Overall, I had a much better experience than I expected and the customer service was completely different than the other reviews. Or, maybe I just caught David on a good day :) read more

I saw your post on Facebook about free car washes for first responders so I went down there for the free car wash and they told me I do not qualify for it as a correctional officer, however I am a certified first responder through the state of Massachusetts which is a requirement to be a correctional officer. I felt disrespected when the individual laughed and said that does not qualify as a first responder. I felt as if I was a joke to society and all staff at Blaise Chevy. I Love bringing my 2009 RAV 4 for service here at Balise Chevrolet. They have great service advisors and sone of the BEST Sevice Tcehnicians anywhere. My service advisor was Fran Caruso and he has been helping me with my vehicle service needs now for almost 19 years. My RAV 4 gets excellent service and my service Tech is Nick and he is I believe one of the best anywhere.
