It was in some dire shape, lol. 2 layers of shingles and all decking removed and replaced. New gutters. Facia. Gable and ridge vents. Replaced some missing siding. Fully protected everything around the house from falling debris. Complete yard and driveway clean-up. Whole thing was done within a day and a half. We had contacted this Hilliard based business, amongst others, and after 3 companies came out, inspected, estimated etc, it was clear Snyder's was the only way to go. Destry and his team were amazing! Spent time talking with us, actually LISTENING, never pushing the sale or giving us the slick rehearsed speech. Talked with them right after Christmas, was willing to come out week of New Year's but we said not necessary. Showed up Monday the 5th. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you need any work done. A+

Snyder's came out and reviewed not only the problem section but the entire roof. They developed a plan that not only addressed the existing issues, but also caught some wind damage that hadn't yet made itself known to us. When we found our unusual roof still had an issue, they came out again and made another adjustment, and also did another round of nail clean-up in the yard. The roof is now both functional and very nice looking!

I had seen a retractable deck cover with a permanent frame at the home and garden show. I had…read morereached out to the local rep asking for information and she sent me a link to an online catalog. Long story short, she was NOT helpful in any way - merely an order taker. I couldn't make heads or tail of their website - but I knew exactly what I wanted. I looked elsewhere for a vendor to no avail. Even if I had ordered with the online company, I would have had to install myself or find an installer. So I turned to Yelp . . . I have had MUCH success with Yelp finding excellent service and skilled providers. I entered the details of what I wanted and submitted the project for response. I got maybe 4 companies contacting me - one being Eric Call Contracting. This company asked to schedule some time to talk - and so we did. All the other responses merely asked if I HAD the deck covering as they just wanted to install it. None would entertain the idea of helping me source the deck cover. Eric and Angie showed up when they said they would and we began to talk. I explained what I wanted, showed the brochure from the home and garden show, showed them our deck - and they went to work. Eric tried to work with the awning company I had wanted to buy from - but he got nowhere despite being more persistent than me. Eric still understood what I wanted - a permanent frame that would attach to and extend up from the deck with canvas runners that we would open and pull shut and remove in the winter. We would also be able to replace the runners should they get damaged. Eric drew up a design and shared it with me - along with possible runners he found on Amazon. We had a lot of back and forth and they were great keeping in touch. I finally decided to go with them despite having no other bids for comparison. Clearly no one else wanted to do the work needed to get me the deck covering I wanted. I signed on the dotted line and cut a check to get the project started. Again, Eric and Angie did a great job of communicating with me and providing updates. Although working through Yelp does provide some financial protection, I was still nervous going with the first company I contacted. But they definitely earned my trust - the materials showed as promised. And work began as promised, and before I knew it, my vision of a deck covering had materialized! Our deck is on the back/south side of the house. There are no trees or shading so we fight to keep the house cool on sunny days. We had recently replaced a large, rust painted deck with a smaller light treated wood deck. Now with this covering, we are already enjoying not having to turn on the A/C as much, leaving the back door open for a breeze, and actually being able to sit on our deck when the sun is hot. We've also been able to pull the runners closed when a windy storm hit. And in the winter, I'll take the runners down to protect them and allow full sun in the cold temperatures. I cannot say enough about how I appreciated the work this company did. I highly recommend you contact them when you have a project.

They were voiced to the man who was doing the work. not all of the work that was in my written estimate was completed either as the contractor who was here said it wouldn't be necessary. An existing run was completely removed and not tapped into. I was told in the end, the month of work was a loss to them. Probably why they don' want to help me now. He asked very detailed questions to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted to accomplish. The estimate was quickly produced, and was exceeding thorough and clear, spanning a full 2-pages, itemizing all that the job entailed. When there were possible ways of saving money, he offered them. He also suggested a number of clever workarounds we had not considered. The estimated amount was a bit less than the other two quotes we received. In addition, it included items others had not thought to suggest. Other companies said they could begin in 4-6 months. Jason said he would begin in 2-3 weeks and complete the sizable renovation within 3 weeks. Once we agreed to move forward, everything was wrapped up within the timeline he estimated (from my experience, a rare feat!). All members of his crew were friendly, diligent, and highly competent. They were efficient on site, demonstrated great skill, were cautious not to damage anything, and performed a through cleanup, leaving nothing behind. The final product far exceeded our expectations! We are very grateful for Jason's Team and we definitely plan to use them for future projects. Thanks so much! Jon & Courtney

On other areas of my long driveway, where the radius turns were widened, those have also settled an inch lower than the driveway height and are cracking as well. The responses that I received from Legg & Davis on the settling of the curves was "Let's just watch it. I don't want to do anything about it" and on the giant crack was, "We have no control over cracking in asphalt or concrete. When you have your driveway sealed, the cracks can be cleaned and filled with asphalt crack filler material". Don't make the same mistake I made. IMO Legg Davis cut corners on material usage, has an inferior asphalt product and/or does poor installation work.
