They have lots of seating, beautiful bathroom and lots of space. Definitely a very beautiful place to dine. Food was pretty good but not amazing. I had crab cake egg Benedict. It was a very large meal and was pretty tasty but the crab cakes weren't great. My husband had chicken wrap with chips and chips were really bad. I am not sure how to mess up the chips. Overall was a good experience, except the potato chips.

You will not be able to find a piece of lint on the floor. Also very friendly and shared a ton of interesting stories! I remembered maybe 10ish years ago acai bowls were in trend. Then it faded? I never tried it while it was in trend because I was a college student and it was one of those moments where you decide to spend $12 on a protein/carb/veggie meal or on an acai bowl that will hopefully keep you full until your next meal. Fast forward and I'm still not in my career yet lol. Making residency salary and having this is moreso as a treat. It's sort of a healthier way to look at dessert? Thicker than a smoothie. Not sweet like Gelato. Can alter it to have higher protein or sweetier depending on what you choose. There are a lot of options and fiber rich. The presentation is pretty. I do think you have to be in the mood for this. My friend loves acai bowls. Me? It's not something I would crave but I'll be down to have it again if my friend wanted it.

There were shops popping up on every corner, and while I always loved acai bowls, they were pretty much the same no matter where you went. And after leaning pretty hard into this trend for a while, I reached acai over-saturation. Fast forward to recent times and I was excited to check out Nautical Bowls when it opened. The menu looked pretty unique, and it had been quite a while since my last bowl. Each weekend would come and go and I would still manage to not stop in. Today, I was sitting on the couch about to doze off. I had two choices: give into the nap Gods, and probably set myself up for a poor night of sleep ahead, or get up and finally make that trip to Nautical Bowls. I chose the latter, and as I mentioned above, I'm so glad I did. I walked in and stared at the menu for an awkwardly long time. Each item looked appealing and it seemed like they were all only 1-2 ingredients different from the last. I considered even building my own, but that thought was fleeting. Let's just roll with one of the chosen items. There's always a future visit where we can get crazy with something custom. So I went with the Blue Bay Bowl: Blue Majik, Açaí, Coconut, Spirulina Chia, Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Coconut Butter Crumbles. I asked what Blue Majik and Spirulina were: I was told both had a coconut cream flavor. I was also told Spirulina was an algae. That almost swayed me away, but I didn't want to be a basic b. Algae, you say? I aint scared. It turns out, this bowl met every single aspect of the fantasy I had in my head when I was debating between taking a nap and coming here. It was amazing. Every bite. It definitely was not your grandmother's acai bowl, either. There was a lot going on and I loved every aspect of it. And as promised, there was no shortage of coconut cream. I will absolutely be back because I want to try pretty much everything on the menu. Welcome to the 'hood, Nautical Bowls!

That kind of genuine hospitality makes a difference, and they absolutely nailed it. The food is excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and seriously impressive. I ordered the spicy fish tacos, and they were outstanding. The chipotle sauce added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. As a bonus, I downloaded and registered on their app and scored a free dessert, definitely worth it. I went with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding, and OH MY GOSH ... it was next level. Not your typical bread pudding. It had more of a layered, crepe-like texture with a rich, creamy filling, drizzled in milk chocolate and topped with a strawberry compote. I could've easily eaten 10 of them. What really stood out to me was the menu variety. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options, and even have gluten-free desserts! They have several locations across Texas. I visited the Woodlands spot. Safe to say, this will be a must-stop anytime I'm in the area.

Why 5 stars? Because we need more tasty, but healthy eating in the area like this…read more --- --- --- The Houston area is full of restaurants where calories are divvied out in the truck-load. I know because I've consumed several trucks worth. What's hard to find here are restaurants that provide healthy offerings, that also taste great. I've patronized Salata on multiple occasions in the past, but this one is new and close to our house. Recently, my wife and I ordered lunch from here and she went to pick it up (aka I did not actually enter the premises). I have seen a lot of reviews that mention a large cost for not a lot of payoff. Our total was $44 for two salads (mine with a ton of custom add-ons), pita bread, 2 small soups, 2 drinks and a cookie. I think that's pretty fair, given the state of how much things cost and how fresh the ingredients are. Honestly, I thought my salad was great. I started off this review with a 4-star rating, but as I try and think of what I wish was different, I come up empty. I really liked it and at about $22 per person, it's more expensive than fast food, but much cheaper than any sit-down restaurant. Plus, I didn't gain 7 lbs in one meal like I normally do because of my gluttonous nature. Win-win-win!

Just beware, their dressings are not at all "clean" it's the standard canola oil/soybean oil recipes. Their choice of drinks is really not that impressive. The usual corn syrup fountains you find everywhere else. As I said, better option than the Whataburger next door. Overall, it was enjoyable. The vegetables were fresh and everything else looked good. It was an enjoyable experience.
