I go to smoothie King almost 4-5 days a week. Not the same locations bc I drive around the city for work. This is the most consistent smoothie king that I visit. Always good service, the smoothie always taste the best, and very close to the same taste every single time. Most smoothie Kings I visit taste different and I order the same thing every time so it's easy to notice. Vanilla Gladiator with peanut butter and banana is my go to. I love some fruit bowls and I've been to smoothie king, main squeeze, tropical cafe, etc. this location is not it. The young man who rang up my order didn't have it all rang up so when they finished it , I noticed I was missing a fruit bowl. Took about 30 minutes to make two fruit bowels and some chicken bites.. idk what they had going on but the service was extremely slow, the lady was going back and forth with what I assume a manager on the phone about something to do with the register. the gentleman had manners but just poor customer service attentiveness. When my order was finally complete they couldn't find the spoons to go with the other bowl so I took a fork. but I won't recommend this location. they all need better training in my opinion. read more

This location that is my neighborhood smoothie king has gone down in every survey-able category including untidy staff , untidy storefront add a lack of basic things like lights being on inside the location. I gave this Smoothie King five stars because the atmosphere was bright and cheery. A combination of my greeting, and the warm springy bold colors on the wall. It had a clean fresh smell, and it was clean. Courtney stood on the other side of the counter with his smile on like he really enjoys his job. That in my book is a definite plus. This was my first time in the Smoothie King, the employees were very nice and helpful. I didn't know that the order spot was different from where we pay. The smoothies were really yummy and creamy. I love the fact that they have smoothies for children with the multi vitamins inside, so I purchased one for my 3 year old. The cookies are the best cookies I have ever eaten that don't have dairy in them. I used the rewards app, I will surely be back again. I ordered a 32 oz Berry Keto Smoothie on my way to work in River Oaks and as I'm the freeway I find out its just grainy flavored ice water and I called them and they stated they forgot to add a few ingredients and if I brought it back they would remake it or I would have to bring the drink back after work for a refund, So I missed out on eating today and then still had to take back the unused drink for a refund like it was my fault and then found they charged me $6.50 on $5 dollar Friday because I paid online ...... This location is a joke! With teenagers running this place, the owner should revisit getting them some training. The cashier had his girlfriend sitting inside waiting for him which seemed to be extremely distracting for him. How hard can it be to follow a recipe on how to put together my smoothie? Apparently too hard for this gentleman. As he was putting in the ingredients, he kept pausing to talk to other employees or his girlfriend. My berry carrot dream definitely did not taste as it usually does. On top of that, he initially poured my small order into a medium cup and once he realized it wasn't filling up, he proceeded to re-pour it into a small cup only to have it overfill. Ok to all you Smoothie Kings men and women out there, tell me if I am looking at this wrong. I've been there quite a few times now because my husband had gastric by-pass so we need a ton of protein everyday. So I always order the Gladiator- I believe 45 grams of protein. And as you know you get to pick 3 additional fruits. NORMALLY I would pick Almond and OJ, but today something made me ask how much sugar is in the OJ. 18 grams of sugar. Now I mention every time to everyone that my husband cannot have sugar due to gastric by-pass. No one ever told me the OJ had such a high content of sugar. Here's my issue. Today I figured everything above. So I said to the teen at the counter" instead of giving him any of these fruits ( because the ALL. Contain sugar) just put an extra 5grams of protein, Well, here's what I was told. We cannot replace the OJ with an additional scoop of protein, even though they both are 99 cents. I kindly said " come on, think outside the box here, you boys can make a wise decision based on the heAlth of a customer!!! Answer was NO.... Then I was refused service!!!!! Been here more than a couple of times and the service has been great! The workers are always happy to help and eager to give suggestions to my smoothie :) I always get the Green Tea Tango with Mango and it's pretty good! It's VERY clean, the staff is always very friendly and smiley and we always get our order very promply. It is our once a week special treat, and I have never once had to wait in line. This is my favorite location. Everyone that works there is fast and competent. I made the mistake of going to the 1960 location which has a drive through about a year ago and ended up waiting over 30 minutes. There were only 2 cars ahead of me. That makes me appreciate this location so much better. It's always very clean and I've leaned out nicely from drinking their Lean 1 smoothies as a meal replacement for dinner. It's really difficult maintaining a flat stomach when you're only 5'1, but this place definitely keeps me in great shape. Along with cardio and weights 5 days a week. read more
