When I first started getting my eyebrows done I went to a different place in town and they would always thin out my eyebrows so much. Balir keeps my eyebrows thick and doesn't do too much shaping for me because I already have a natural arch. I've gotten my eyebrows waxed a while ago and regretted it so much because the lady left my eyebrows uneven. And another threading place made my eyebrows way too thin. I just moved to Antelope area from Arden area and I was hesitant to try someplace new since I usually go to Beauty by Thread but I really did not feel like driving. Imagine my surprise when I went to Bala's she always did my brows, when I could get her, at Beauty by Thread. She went to Paul Mitchell school and opened the salon. The price is right but it is very quiet since she is trying to get this business off the ground. Bala is one of the few places open outdoor during this pandemic.. she listens very well to what you want and makes sure to give you exactly that! The thread she uses is sooo gentle on the skin the threading was literally pain free and I have extra sensitive skin especially because I'm pregnant! Definitely coming back!! The owner used to work for beauty by thread for 6 years as a manager and now decided to open her own shop up, they are open during COVID so I'm super appreciative of that. Prices are normal.
