The interior is much bigger than previous location. There are lots of seating area and bigger cake displays with more deli choices. I was shopping at Sugar Park Plaza across street and noticed the sign, nice and big. Red Berries Bakeshop is smacked between Cici's Pizza and Xfinity Store. I can't resist of coming in. Wow. The friendly employees greeted me as I walked in. That was how I remember Red Berries Bakeshop. I have been to its sister store Hot Breads Bakers on Hillcroft Street. Yeah. I like this one better. As I was contemplating with what to eat for lunch, a helpful customer suggested to try their panini. So, I ordered Masala Aloo Panini. While waiting, I also bought 2 boxes of cookies because of the buy one gets one for 50% off holiday offer. My sweet tooth was not ended yet. I also ordered a cake shot - cake and topping in a shot glass. I used to remember all the pastries taste and ingredients. I know my favorite is the eggless Pista Cookies. One of the boxes of cookies was assorted. I don't know their names, but I know few of them has Indian spices. Mmm... So Yummy. It took about 10 minutes for Panini to arrive. I could never imagine having a meatless panini with spicy potatoes before. The cheese and spicy sauce just melt in my mouth with the toasty bun. Anyway, to finish it off, I ate that cake shot. Ha! What a square meal. If you are in the area, make sure to stop by. Oh, I can't recommend any particular dish because I will tell you to order everything.

The bright Red Berries sign caught my attention and made me want to come in and try a slice (or two) of their cakes. I had no idea what was in store for me! I walked in and was greeted by an amiable staff member who was kind enough to show me and explain to me some of their different menu items and pastries. I was quite excited to try their Rasmalai Pastry and I loved it! It was so light and tasty. I will definitely be back again.

I'm gonna start by saying that I'm pretty picky/particular about egg tarts. I've been meaning to…read moretry this place for a long time. I wanted to know if it lived up to its hype. We finally came around to checking it out and OMG YES. It absolutely is worth the hype. As a lover of egg tarts and someone who is also very particular about it - these have won my heart! I also heard great things about the mango mochi so we couldn't leave without those. Thankfully they still had some in stock. I heard they sell out quickly especially on weekends. Those also lived up to its hype. SO YUMMY! Tastes so fresh including the mangoes. My kiddo who LOVES mango anything loved them so much! My husband also got 2 savory pastries (I forgot what they were called and I forgot to take a picture) and those were yummy too. Perfectly flakey crust just like the egg tarts. We wanted to get sesame balls but they were sold out. Customer service was great. The guy that took our order was very nice. It was pretty busy but he moved through the line quickly. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there. Prices are very reasonable at $2 each for the mochi and egg tarts. The savory pastries were $3. It's located in a shared lot/area. Parking can be tight and limited on a busy weekend day but they have parking right out front for the Eck bakery customers. Also note that if you pay with card it's a 2.5% charge so cash is better if you have it. We didn't but we know now for future. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back. Next time we'll come earlier and get a bigger order and try their other offerings.

It might not look great inside but that's when you know they focus on how the food taste, not wasting their energy on what the store looks like. Egg tarts 5/5 - must get especially when fresh and warm out of the oven, the eggy filling is sweet and soft but dangerously hot when too fresh so be careful, the flakey tart shell is soft but crispy at the edges helping to balance the jiggly egg filling. Pork puff pasty (cha siu sow) 5/5 - another must get, if sweets aren't your thing or you are craving something savory then this is for you, again the puff pastry so flakey and delicious, the pork filling wasn't very much but just enough to help accompany the soft yet crispy shell, the pork was soft and and just juicy enough to not be too overwhelmed with sauce but not dry either. Wife cookie (1/5) - skip this and don't waste your calories, the puff pastry again was lovely and flakey but I think they dropped the ball on the filling, it was a bit too goopy and thick for my liking, traditional wife cookies have candied wintermelon or some other firmer additives to give it more of a textual change but this one didn't have any of that and even the puff pastry couldn't balance it out, stick to the other 2 items instead. Tip: use cash to save on credit card fee (2.5% I think)

The variety is impressive, from savory breads to delicate desserts, and everything tastes fresh rather than overly sweet or heavy. Their sea salt coffee and specialty drinks are balanced and smooth, and the self-serve bakery layout makes it easy to browse without feeling rushed. I also appreciate how efficiently they package everything, especially when ordering multiple items. If you're looking for high-quality pastries and drinks that feel a step above typical chain bakeries, 85°C delivers every time.

I haven't redeemed any rewards in several months because I've been overseas, so I wasn't sure whether I simply scanned the code or if there was another step involved. Instead of explaining the process, he repeatedly pointed at the screen and said, it's right here. When I asked for clarification, he continued to respond the same way without actually explaining what I needed to do. His tone and mannerisms made me feel as though I was being treated like an inconvenience for asking a simple question. Not every customer is familiar with the app, and some may be using rewards for the first time. A little patience and clearer communication would have gone a long way. The experience was made more frustrating by the long wait beforehand. There were only two cashiers working and the customer ahead of me spent several minutes at the register asking questions. Another cashier was also helping a customer who needed additional assistance. While I understand that questions happen and employees do their best, waiting a considerable amount of time only to receive dismissive customer service was disappointing. Good customer service isn't just about completing a transaction--it's about helping customers understand the process and making them feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit.
