was scanning for sweets and stumbled on in here. The counter person was incredibly sweets like sweets she was serving, and I felt like a valued customer, and I visited when it was 20 minutes to closing here as well. Both the lemon poppy and raspberry cheesecake were incredible creamy and sweet, plus got to love that mini cheesecake rather than places that serve by slices. As for the cannoli cake and Tres leaches slice very soft and the filling was nice buttery velvety feel and lightly sweet. will have to come back to try the other mini cheesecakes.

We have gone to Bakery plus for a bunch of cakes now and every cake we have is so good and so fresh! They also have the BEST chocolate chip cookies! The owner is so sweet and it smells so good there! I highly suggest Bakery plus!

I was running late and needed to pick up a cake for a 30th year work anniversary. Stopped by in a panic. I spoke with the lovely owner who suggested various options to feed a crowd (15-25 people) and 10 minutes later, I walked out with a 10" marble mousse cake and a smaller 7" chocolate mousse ganache cake. Both cakes were delicious! I got raves for what must have been advance planning of this awesome customized cake--Thank you!! Shhhh! this will be our little secret.

I have fallen in love with this bakery. I needed a birthday cheesecake for my bf and he sent me here. He had 3 top pivks.. 1. Mango cheesecake, 2. raspberry cheesecake and 3. Strawberry shortcake (in that order) I'm going to be honest I like cheesecake but my favorite is strawberry shortcake. And I thought he was crazy for his order of favorites... until I went in. First of all, they were really diligent about social distancing which I greatly appreciate. 2 guests allowed inside at a time with mandatory masks. Thank you for caring about your customers and keeping us safe. Second of all.. walking in this bakery was like the heavens opening up and sun shining in the room. The cases full of every cookie, cake, cheesecake you can imagine... I literally wanted to buy EVERYTHING. I had a nice chat with the very friendly owner/person behind the counter. She was super nice and helpful to me. As far as my order.... the mango cheesecake only came in a mini cake size, the raspberry cheesecake came in a 7" size so I went with that..and yes.. I HAD to get 2 slices of strawberry shortcake for myself too. The strawberry shortcake was very light and has fresh strawberry throughout the layers... but the star of the day was that raspberry cheesecake.. OMG! Never thought I would say anything was better than shortcake but this raspberry cheesecake was the truth!!! I will be back soon as I find a reason to have another chest day lol.

Highly recommend stopping by this bakery to pick up some sweet treats!! Went not knowing what I wanted and ended up leaving with 5 things for 2 people... Big fan of everything Cannoli flavored so I asked for a rec: they had a cannoli cake slice, cannoli cremepuff, cannoli cheesecake and a cannoli filled brownie... I ended up getting the cremepuff and cake slice, both very good, moist and flavorful. Napoleon had the perfect amount of custard, not at all dry due to tons of pastry sheets and not enough filling. Chocolate mousse was very rich! Mango cheesecake was my favorite and I only chose it because I read a previous review. I thought the swirl of mango on top would be the only mango but there's a layer between the bottom crust and the cheesecake making sure mango is in every bite - genius but not overpowering and very creamy! Since they knew I was such a big cannoli fan they offered to put some filling on top of the cheesecake bc never enough of that stuff and without charging any extra. Everything is very reasonable priced and well made! Will definitely be back!!

The small cake are delicious and the ice cream traditional cake is even better! i get one cake a month from pretty much march till august with all the birthdays and holidays! New to the area and I needed a birthday cake. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I ordered a yellow cake with lemon frosting and lemon filling. The ladies were both quite pleasant and so were the other patrons who entered the establishment after me. The only problem was I wish I bought a bigger cake because it was sooooo good. The cake was a hit and there was none left! I'm already contemplating when I need to buy another one!!! If you're on the fence....check this place out. This is the best bakery in the area! My mom always bought my birthday cakes from here.. and now I buy all my daughters cakes here! They are amazing! They can create anything you could imagine. I have never once had a problem! Also there cookies, eclairs, you name it.. they have on hand are amazing! Anytime my daughter gets invited for a playdate, or I need a hostess gift.. I stop in here and pick up some amazing sweet treats! They package it really cute and its very inexpensive for the quality.. You wont regret stopping in here the next time you need a cake or are just looking for something sweet! read more

Got a 50th Birthday cake for my sister, and the experience was awesome. The owner was terrific at helping me select a design, which my sister loved. The cake was delicious. I often stop in for their chocolate custard eclairs, which are the best! I've also bought several birthday cakes over the years. As a long time Middletown resident I was a youngster when Bakery Plus opened way back when. The service has always been friendly and accommodating. My parents had gotten me several birthday cakes from them when I was growing up, and they always were great. I was never disappointed with one of their delicious cakes. I actually stopped in today and the owner was there, and still as friendly as ever. I ordered a cake for my mom's 73rd birthday. I wanted a specific design of a seamstress because that's what my mom is. They patiently looked through their vast Internet catalog of designs and found a perfect seamstress motif. I ordered a square cake for up to 20 people with vanilla icing and vanilla custard inside. I picked up the cake Saturday morning. The cake was absolutely stunning. The design was exactly what they had showed me on the Internet. My mom and the party guests loved it, almost too pretty to cut. The cake tasted wonderful. It was fresh, the frosting was fluffy. I will be ordering my cakes from them from now on. I highly recommend you go to them for any cake or dessert needs. They are also professional and very helpful and their prices are reasonable. You will not be disappointed. read more

The absolute best ICE CREAM CAKE ever! My friends in Westchester always ask me to bring it to their house. Good old fashion bakery with great cakes and cookies. I have to curb myself because I always want to take the slices of cake home (in the car) now. But if you have a special occasion buy the ice cream cake. I have a huge sweet tooth and I recently moved to Middletown from LI so one day I just decided to give this place a try, because why not? This place is just AMAZING! Their custard cakes, truffles, and napoleons are my favorites, but everything looks (and tastes) fantastic. Prices and customer service - both great! Uh - WOW. We had the chocolate mousse cake last night, brought it do a friend's house. It has made such an impression on my tastebuds that I am compelled to write this review the day after! PERFECT consistency, perfect sweetness, beautiful flowers on top. My friend called today to say "THAT CAKE! THAT CAKE! OH MY GOD, THAT CAKE! Had some for breakfast! The cakes here are the best in the area. The ice cream cakes are amazing. The choclate cake with chocolate mousse dipped in chocolate is OUTRAGEOUS! Other bakery items are not great but if you need a cake, this is where to go in the area. read more
