My one detractor is that the service was a little spotty getting the check. All things considered, this place is solid for dim sum, and I'd definitely go back.

For most visits we get it to go cause we live far away and we always get a bunch and literally get 2 to 3 meals out of it for our family of 4. Here is what we typically... Chicken Lo Mein - nice thin noodles, real chicken, fresh veggies Chicken Fried Rice - lots of egg and chicken and some veggies General Tso's chicken - my 8 year old's favorite - we got no spice Sui Mai - includes pork and shrimp - big and juicy Shrimp and Chive - my wife's favorite - it's just delicious Seafood dumplings - not sure all the seafood but also awesome Pan fried pork potstickers- for my older son cause he has shellfish allergies Appetizer portion of Roast duck - super tender, great flavor, crispy skin Appetizer portion of Pork Belly - it's pork belly...enough said Sesame balls - these are more of a dessert, not overly sweet but a nice finish to the meal Lastly we tried something new...the turnip dumplings which were small squares of turnip paste?? That are fried and tossed in something spicy - these were awesome! Definitely adding into the rotation. Overall this place is awesome and worth a try!!

Every weekend when we went to the farmers market they always have a large line and people would be walking away with multiple dishes. But trust me, it's worth it! They are cooked right on the spot and are delicious. Biggest Advice? Order more ahead of time because they sell out fast and the lines are always long. I went the traditional route with getting a pork dumpling and I was not disappointed. It was fried perfectly on one side and had that steamed effect on the other. There is a selection of different sauces to add to them on the table, such as sriracha sauce, soy sauce and sweet thai chili sauce. I chose sweety thai chili sauce because I like the sweet, zesty kick it gives which was a great compliment to the food. It was only $6 for 4 decently sized dumplings which wasn't bad. I'll be back to try the other flavors next time!!

We ordered the peking duck- waitress brought it out to show us and then took it back to the kitchen saying she forgot the pancakes. Then she took a long time to come back out with the cut up duck and sides. It tasted all right. I enjoyed the soup dumplings. We tried a dim sum dumpling that had shrimp and some other meat (waiter was so quiet I couldn't hear him) and it was okay. We also tried a tofu wrap and a chewy shrimp wrap that was 90% wrap and had 2 mini shrimp in it. We also got the bok choy and it was okay. Very oily. The spicy oil was good. The hot tea was good as well. Bathroom was clean. Service was sporadic and the dim sum carts were not coming around nearly enough for how many people were in the dining room. The food was okay- I think if I came back I would order off the menu instead of dim sum. We were there around 1pm on Sunday. It was relatively busy and there were many people in and out of the dining room.

Ordered Jumbo Shrimp Pan Fried Noodle here $16.95 takeout. While waiting for the food. I was asking the gal behind the cash register if they have been busy lately with the Chinese BBQ and she stated this past weekend they were really busy. I then told her it's because Kai Kai owners left Kai Kai and sold it maybe to another owner but they no longer run Kai Kai. So as the conversation passes she told me - The Crispy pork they cook there is NOT ROASTED but FRIED. It was brought up because i was telling her a few people have said kai kai fell off as far as taste in the bbq / meats. So then I said yes the skin part is not crispy like how you guys do it. So she mentioned she wondered why they have been busy with Chinese BBQ meats as of lately. I ordered the $4.95 boba smoothie (mango) as a refresher because it is hot outside - For the price it is not bad I think they use mango puree as the base. The dishes here are delicious. This is why I keep coming back.

We came here first simply because the cheaper weekday lunch special, but man oh man do the flavors keep me coming back. First off their broths are amazing. You can mix your broths and they are not just flavored water either, you literally get all the herbs and spices poured into your bowl to keep those flavors strong. If you like spice I usually do half curry and half the szechuan broths. They have a bar style to serve the food and the sauces/toppings so no waiting for anything. They even have the noodles on a little track that goes around the seats which is so fun just to grab. In addition to the hot pot menu. They have an extra charge appetizers "extra selections (made when ordered)" menu that contains a hidden gem of this place. The wings!!! All of them are cooked amazingly with a juicy inside but a flavorful crunchy outside. If you do choose this option I would love to give a shout out to the Juicy 2.0 flavor. The last food thing I love about this place is the dessert. They have an ice cream cooler, but not no normal vanilla or chocolate ice cream cups. They have that ice cream selection they you probably remember getting out of an ice cream freezer in the gas station. ice cream sandwiches, those crunchy-on-the-outside popsicle and normal popsicle too. I can always only speak to the staff that received us, but everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. They were happy to explain the various broths and the different menu items especially when it came to the appetizer menu. I said it at the beginning, price-wise this place I'd say is comparable or better. If you are iffy on trying this place as your next hotpot adventure, coming here during the cheaper weekday lunch time is a no brainer with a price that is arguably hard to beat. If you're eating at the normal price, I would still say this place is going to give the best bang for your buck if you are looking for some high quality warm belly feels.
