All the other companies I got quotes from seemed to have a less than honest approach to their sell's pitches, starting out at extremely high prices then coming down a lot on their second and third quotes. Not the case with Illum Solar. It was a fair, honest quote the first time. Illum Solar was able to get us the best interest rate out of all the companies I received from. I did a TON of research comparing the different companies and technologies. Ryan was very patient and gave me all research and data that I asked and then some. He went above and beyond to get our business. The equipment they use is top notch compared to other companies I spoke to. His team that installed our system did a clean install. The monitoring service for the system is very easy friendly and keep you up to date. Illum Solar made the process quick and easy. My system was installed and turned-on producing power "Which means saving money" in less than a week after I signed the paperwork. If you are looking for the lowest interest rates, an honest company that's looking to save you money, best quality product and your systems installed in a fast and timey mater then you need to go with Illum Solar. 5 STARS

Thank you to the 3rd party contractor who got my solar system working again after Fuzion essentially held my service repair hostage. Fuzion refused to send a service technician or address my issue unless I signed a non-disclosure agreement. The reason? I left an honest review a few years ago. I was told I needed to sign the NDA and change my rating on that previous review before they would provide service in a timely manner. I paid out of pocket to have an independent contractor diagnose and repair the system. During that process he discovered several installation issues that were not up to code from Fuzion 's original installation. My experience has been that Fuzion is your best friend until the installation is complete. Once they've been paid, you're treated more like an inconvenience than a customer. Looking back, the constant management turnover should have been my first red flag. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but consumers deserve to know what happens after the sales process is over. customer service and accountability seem to disappear once the contract is signed.

At the time of signing contracts, I had researched several companies and had already signed contracts with another installer before cancelling and going with Heritage Solar. Heritage provided more thorough and convincing information. My first negative review was posted because Heritage's original completion estimate was 2-3 months. My installation ended up taking almost 5 months, which was not significantly longer than estimated, BUT it exceeded what I was promised by the other company- something that was very important in my decision. Because the NEM3 changes are imminent and I read other negative postings about Heritage's failure to respond, I became anxious. I can now state without reservation, that Heritage DOES respond when customers communicate with them. I previously said I would NOT recommend this company. But I now take this back and say in comparison to other solar companies, information I have gained about the timeline of all other solar companies, and my overall satisfaction with the job in its entirety, I DO WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND HERITAGE SOLAR. I also want to thank Brandon Wainwright and Brady Batten for being extremely knowledgeable, not abandoning me once they got the sale, following up where needed and staying in touch from start to finish and mostly for being patient with both me and my husband.

During this time, they were all extremely pleasant and very quick to explain everything they were doing and answer any questions we had. They were nice men who were sociable and held conversation well, and they were very respectful of the fact that my husband had worked the night before and was asleep through most of their visit.
